...Roads Play Rug..... Argos sell these rather large rugs for a good price of £10. We bought one for Jack so he could use his rather large collection of cars playing on the roads that are printed on the rug. Jack totoally loves it and it was well worth themoney. The rug is about 1 ½ meters by 1 meter and the colours are mainly grey and green because of the roads and gardens that are drawn onto the rug. There is also a lot of buildings drawn in on the rug too such as the police station, school and hotels. The rug is perfect for playing on and a good tough material that will take a lot of mess. I found cleaning the rug with carpet cleaner easily and hassle free and in these messy days of Jack spilling things I am also protecting my carpet underneath. The rug seems huge to Jack and he is able to spend a lot of time travelling...

Advantages: Quick. Easy. Contains Scotchguard so carpet stays cleaner for longer.
Disadvantages: Makes you cough like crazy.

Rambo is one of their sub lines and includes a diverse range from fly rugs to heavy weight turn outs. Rambo turnouts come in a range of weights so that you can build up an enormous collection of rugs to suit any foible of the British weather! If you are smarter than me, you would probably stick to a lightweight, a heavyweight and then just layer as necessary! I bought my example in the heavy weight in a 6' size to use on a Welsh Cob. Rather than rushing to purchase her third album "Under Rug Swept" as I had done "Supposed...", I more stumbled upon it around a week ago and on the strength of, what I thought was the rather average radio friendly single "Hands Clean", decided to give it a go.
