...Scholl flight socks are a good purchase if you are flying, or indeed if you are going to be travelling in a car for any length of time. It's strange really because they are marketed as flight socks, but the condition of "Deep Vein Thrombosis" is also more common when any person remains inactive for long periods of time. Fox in Socks

Advantages: Colourful pictures, story is in rhyme
Disadvantages: Some of the tongue twisters are hard to say!

...A few weeks ago my nephews and niece came to sleep at my house, my youngest nephew wanted me to read a story before he went to bed and Fox in Socks by Dr Seuss was the one he picked. I gave him a choice of Dr Seuss books but he chose this one, as he'd never heard it before. Dr Seuss (pseudonym of Theodor Seuss Geisel) was born on 2nd March 1904 and died on 24th September 1991. During his lifetime he wrote nearly 50 children's books. He was probably most famous for The Cat in the Hat, which has also been made into a film. The whole book is written in rhyme which I think makes it more enjoyable for the children listening. The general story line is Mr Fox is trying to get Mr Knox to lots of different tongue twisters but poor Mr Knox just cannot get his tongue around them (I don't blame him - I found some of them pretty difficult...

Advantages: Enjoyable action, decent violence, gore and Arnie one-liners.
Disadvantages: Missing the intelligence of the source novel making it fairly one-dimesional.

Disadvantages: Hard to work out the thinking behind the action.

...I would just like to write a review on running for charity, although it is something that I may actually have covered in part in some of my previous reviews in some descriptions. However, back to the subject in hand. Advantages: 1. You get fit, as you have to train in order to complete the final run (this is usually by way of a marathon). 2. You get to meet like minded people, although they may not all be running for your own charity (or they may not even be running for charity!). 3. You get a feeling of purpose and a sense of goodness, as you are doing something to not only help yourself but also to benefit others in some way. Disadvantages: 1. Bliss Sock Salve - It smells nice and gives you soft feet!

Advantages: It smells so nice and it really does work wonders on dry and aching feet.
Disadvantages: It's made by Bliss, which is a very expensive range.

...I'm a huge fan of the Soap & Glory range and I knew the woman behind Soap & Glory made a more costly range known as Bliss. I love Soap & Glory and I was curious by the Bliss products, but after realising just how expensive they are I was put off. They do get some good reviews but with products costing from around £15 and upwards I just couldn't justify paying that when I know and love the Soap & Glory range anyway! However I was recently in Prague and after hours of walking around cobbled streets my aching, tired and dry feet were in need of a nice lotion. I went into a Sephora store and looked initially for something cheap but decent, I suddenly noticed the Bliss range which I hadn't noticed in a shop before, then I was really pleased to notice this foot balm on sale. You may have seen it; it's the one where they show one day from the perspective of each family member. THE FANTASTIC 'REEBOK I RUN TREADMILL'
