Halogen Oven
Advantages: Don't know as did not work
Disadvantages: Does not work and Customer Services are not good.
...Firstly, I would not buy from this company ever again had such a nightmare I can tell you.
1. Ordered the oven. Asked and paid for next day delivery. which was to be delivered on the Wednesday.
2. Did not receive oven until 8.30pm on the Friday evening. Which if we were pensioners I would advise not to open the door after 6pm so this was not good at all.
Did give me a refund though on delivery charges and a hamper of 4 goods.
3. The hamper did not arrive until a week later - no packing inside the box, goods were just rolling around in it. Also there was no proper label on or postal code.
4. After receiving the oven on the Friday. The Saturday night we put a full chicken in and vegetables and it did not work - we were still cooking this chicken 5 hours later and we were starving. Had to have a frozen pizza instead...

Russell Hobbs steam glide iron
Advantages: Great value for money, easy to use, quick to iron, nice looking
Disadvantages: a bit heavy
...I bought this Russell Hobbs Steam glide Professional Iron which is styled in a rich purple colour way and boasts 2200 watts of power from Argos for around £21 which is great value for money. I decided to buy this iron because my old iron had stopped working after only just about a year which is my own fault for getting such as really cheap non brand iron at the time.
I am not usually all that keen on ironing but since getting this attractive iron from agros I have quite enjoyed ironing as the iron is so nice to the touch and is easy to iron clothes. The fact that it has a ceramic soleplate effortlessly glides over fabrics, cutting down on ironing time.
I really like the fact that the iron has a large 350ml large transparent water tank, meaning less time is spent refilling. Featuring variable temperature and steam settings, plus...

Russell Hobbs 2 Slice White toaster
Advantages: deforst, adjustable slots, cancel button
Disadvantages: only 2 slots
...COST: £14.99
PLACE OF PURCHASE: Comet
AGE: 6 months
COLOUR: White
SPECIAL FEATURES: high lift, cancel button, wide slots and 'cool wall'
covering Bought from my local comet shop this russel hobbs toaster was a much needed appliance in our house. Since ours came with very little kitchen essentials we had spent over a year cooking our toast under the grill. I know what you're thinking why spend so long before buying a toaster when you can pick one up from Tesco for around a fiver. The fact is we'd never thought we'd really need one and since we won some vouchers for comet we thought we'd splash out on a fancy brand name one.
This toaster is pretty basic in fuction, it only holds two slices and works by pressing the lever down, you can adjust the power setting but only works if you set it before you press down the lever as...

JML Halogen Oven
Advantages: Simple to use, perfect food every time.
Disadvantages: None
...Halogen Oven.
We have had the slow cooker, the microwave, the George Foreman Grill and now the HALOGEN OVEN.
This is a MUST HAVE for any household serious about cooking.
From the day we took it out of the box, we have used it for all of our meals.
It is simplicity to use itself and all you have at the end is one glass bowl to wash/clean.
Because the heat is from the top and fan circulated, all of the food gets cooked at the same rate. Notice how the food at the back of a fan assisted oven cooks quicker than the food at the front. When you are cooking itmes like yorkshire puddings, you cannot open the oven to turn them around as the change in temperature makes them drop. Not so with the Halogen oven, all round cooking, perfect food every time.
Cakes are larger and lighter and roast potatoes are to die for.
I do not...

RUSSEL HOBBS
Advantages: light, stylish
Disadvantages: more or less everything else
...Russel Hobbs are often extremely well made and durable appliances however this is not the case with this product. I'll admit that this iron looks extremely stylish and well made, however it isnt. I personally dont own this product but I bought one for a Christmas present for my friend as a joke and she has being ranting on about it ever since. It has a dial which adjusts the heat for a variety of different textures of clothes such as silk, cotton and that material on sports wear. However no matter what heat setting it is on it still seems far too hot for the material. My friend has said that she has burnt more clothes that not with this iron. However the cord is extremely long which I suppose is an advantage (4metres) It doesnt though have a steam shoot which I thought was standard for any iron nowadays. Oh how I was wrong. It is though...

Get into hot water with style - Russell Hobbs Stylis Kettle
Advantages: Hot water and fast!
Disadvantages: Measly power cord 0.75 m length
...The Russell Hobbs 14590 Stylis kettle is cordless and takes its power from a circular base that allows the kettle to face in any position in a 360 plain allowing it to be arranged on even a flat and level work surface suitably-oriented for either left, right or even mixed-handed households. The base comes with a 0.75 metre mains cable which restricts where you can place the kettle but satisfies the safety aspect of reducing the chance of catching trialling cables for electrically-operated appliances especially those that can contain up to 1.7 litres of boiling water.
The kettle has an open handle that gives the kettle quite a good balanced feel even when full of boiling water. The spout is both accurate for pouring measured amounts exactly where you want them and non-drip when you return to the base. The water is delivered through...

JML Halogen Oven
Advantages: Quicker cooking
Disadvantages: The lid h
...Well after a year of using a rubbish old electric cooker that would take nearly 45 minutes to heat the oven, this halogen oven was a miracle for me. My Dad bought me one for my birthday but it lay in my room for 2 month collecting dust. One day i decided to use it for a couple of chicken kievs and they turned out amazing, Absolutely perfect cooked all the way through. I havnt used my electric cooker ever since.
The halogen oven is so easy to use, 1 minute and its pre-heated. Just turn the dial to wot heat u want, set the time, fling your roast chicken in there and some vegetables and let it do the work. When the time that you set runs out the machine switches itself off and stops it from been
burnt to death if you forget about it. Also you can look in to see how its getting on without letting heat out. Its alot quicker than any normal...

JML Halogen Oven
Advantages: Powerful, cheap to run, watch as it cooks, timer - cannot overcook
Disadvantages: None for my purposes
...I was, as always, concerned when buying something by mail order without being able to try it. I need not have worried. This is one of the best buys I have ever made. It works superbly. Everything I have cooked in it turns out perfectly. Last night we had roast chicken and roast potatoes all cooked together in the Halogen oven, with gravy from the juices collected in the bottom and it was as superbly cooked as you would get in the best restaurant.
I cook proper home-made hamburgers at will now where before my wife virtually banned them because of the smoke and smell in the kitchen if grilled and the cleaning afterwards if cooked in the oven. Now I just put one in the Halogen oven, cook it to perfection and let it self-clean - no smell, no smoke, no washing up, no fuss. Wonderful!
I have cooked many things at different levels...

Fine for one person
Advantages: Takes up very little space, does its job
Disadvantages: White surfaces - impractical, light always on
...a Russell Hobbs kettle that lasted for years, I decided to go for the Russell Hobbs one, and a few days later, it arrived, care of John Lewis. It cost £99.95, with free delivery, and I got £6 cash back through quidco.com.
First impressions
It seemed really small when I finally got it out of the box - at least smaller than my previous mini oven. However, I think this was just because I was looking at it out of context. It is bigger than the average microwave oven; in fact, it is large enough to fit a reasonable sized chicken in, although I doubt it would do the massive turkeys my mum usually buys for Christmas! In any case, it is perfectly big enough for me.
Another thing that put me off a bit when I first saw it was the shiny door. It is designed to be see-through, which it is, but from a certain distance, it also acts as a mirror. That...

JML Halogen Oven 1300 watt
Advantages: Speedy, versatile and excellent results
Disadvantages: Not available in the shops
...Faster than a conventional oven, 360 degree visibility without having to open a door. Amazing how much room there is, it can cook a large item of poultry and vegetables. Reduces the cooking tilme with a powerful fan assisted halogen heat. Food doesn't dry out and everything we have tried in it tastes better than a micrwave and even a conventional oven. Add to that the fact that it's rack system manages to ensure that food is never left to cook in fat and there is a self clean facility that removes any stuck on crumbs or fat. Unlike a microwave it browns food. Considering the fact that it can roast, grill and bake all for less than £50 and there is no better value kitchen appliance. Only available from JML on-line or by TV adverts. If you buy 2 you save £20 !!
Ideal for a present....
