...The Fuji FinePix S1500 is the latest incarnation of the very successful FinePix S1000fd. It is very SLR-like in appearance and the added bulk of the battery-holder/grip does give it an assured feeling in your hands. Of course, this can be a disadvantage, and if you want a camera that you can just slip in-and-out of your pocket, then maybe a slimmer compact should be considered.
The 12x optical zoom is excellent and it equates to 33-396mm in 35mm terms - and if this isn't enough, there is a 5.7x digital zoom feature too.
The menus are friendly and easy to navigate, and there are helpful explanatory prompts that appear on thew LCD screen when the mode-dial setting is changed.

...I got my Fujifilm s1000fd only a few months ago, due to my s800 breaking i got this discounted. i think it is a great camera for all types of photography or just for quick shots,
I will start with picture quality, and for what is known as a "bridge" camera is gives superb picture quality and sharpness, the highest resolution is way higher than most amateur photographers would need and the levels of detail are surprisingly good, noise is reduced in low light by a staggering 3200 ISO it can shoot as low res at around 2.5 frames per second and at a very high shutter speed of 2000 way outdoing any bridge or point and shoot camera within the price range.
It has a dial on the top of the main body giving you access to all your features, these include Auto, Manual, Aperture Priority, Shutter priority and programmable to name a few. it also...
Advantages: Everything! great pics, great value, great lense, great fun, and user friendly! Disadvantages: Very few! bad battery choice (i.e. LR6 or FR6 AA's only), no mechanical image stabalisation!

Where to start! This camera has fantastic features, great 12x zoom, and the lens is as good as you can get for the price, I paid! (£90)....
Before I had the camera arrive at my home I downloaded the manual from the Fujifilm website as a *.PDF document and had a good read, although none of it really made any sense at the time, but since I have had the camera it has proved an invaluable asset!
The camera boasts many preset settings and features so you can go from point and shoot in automatic mode, to a little bit more creativity using the preset settings, to an almost full manual mode where you can adjust the shutter speeds (from 8 seconds to 1/2000's of a second!) you can also adjust the aperture...

...The Motorola E1000 is one of the new, feature-packed, third generation (3g) mobile phones recently launched in a blaze of publicity.
The phone looks and feels very nice - it's candy-bar shaped with a large, colourful screen and the buttons feel firm and durable.
It currently only comes in black but it's early days yet.

Can you imagine the possibilities that opens up ?! How many times have you been away on business and call the kids to say goodnight ? With this phone they can hear AND see you saying goodnight.

Introduction
I?m going to assume you?ve read my previous review of how to get your hands on an iPhone cheaply, and that you?ve discounted buying second hand and that you want that box fresh sensation of unwrapping your very own brand new iPhone 3G S!
If this is indeed the case then read on, the following is for YOU! We?ll look at what Contract options there are, what Pay and Go options are available and (my favourite) what?s available Off Plan.
We?ll use the iPhone 3G S 16GB model in these examples, as it?s the cheapest iPhone 3G S to start with. Obviously you could buy a brand new iPhone 3G and make an additional saving, but then this review is of the iPhone 3G S (although much of the content is applicable).

...I became obsessed with tattoos at a very young age; I would look for tattoos on people and often ask them what their tattoos meant and why they got them. Predictably at about 14 years old I started to want a tattoo. I pestered my Mum for two years solid and when I was 16 she thought she'd call my bluff. She marched me into a tattooist and told me to pick a tattoo and get it done there and then. She thought I would wimp out but I didn't and I still love the tattoo I got that day. I guess some people are just meant to get ink.
Anyway, I digress the point in hand is the fabulous book, "1000 Tattoos". I found this little gem in a bookshop that was closing down for the princely sum of £1.00 although on Amazon copies are selling from £17.30 to £52.39.

DD ring -the safest way to hook helmet. You will never damage it, and it will definitely wont get away in case of the accident.
Pinlock - I was tired to drive motorcycle in morning when my visor of helmet became foggy. SHOEI XR1000 has antifog pinlock, so it can be removed during hot summer, and put on during cold mornings. Easy to put in a bag, or even a book.
Locking positions. This helmets has three visor positions:
"unlocked" when you can open and close visor easily.
"locked" when you are driving at speeds >100km/h, and you can forget about visor, It will definitely won't come out. I even tried to open it with my hands at home, and i couldn't - perfect thing.
"ventilation" visor is holden almost closed, but has a small air intake for better ventilation. Good if you forget your antifog at home...
Advantages: It's advanced technology and huge variety of features. Disadvantages: The very low and quickly decreasing battery life.
...The iPhone 3G S is an amazing piece of palm-sized technology. It has everything you could possibly ask of a mobile phone (except Blue-tooth data exchange), and much more! I was shocked at it's ease of use considering its a smart phone! ...In this age of high technology automatic electronic equipment it pays to take a step back to the simple things such as the Pentax K1000 camera. The fully manual 35mm SLR obviously requires complete user control but for the photographer who doesn’t want to be limited by a camera’s ability, this is the one for you.
The only power needed is for the exposure meter from a small battery which is activated when the lens cap is removed. The built-in through-the-lens meter measures the average brightness of the ground glass at full aperture and then couples to the aperture, shutter and film speed settings.
