I apologise if you are already bored with this and have gone to the bottom of the page clicking "off-subject" on your way out, actually that was a waste of words because if you have you would not have read the apology! The other important factor for any company buyer, like me, and let's face it most first owners will be a company is the CO2 rating. It makes a huge difference to the individuals cost of running the car. My diesel model has a CO2 level of 143, converting to 15% of its value declared annually for tax. The value of my car is £20,900 I pay only £1254 in tax a year for my company car. The 2.4 S, a cheaper purchase at £19,600 has a CO2 rating of 214 and will clobber you a substantial 28% of purchase price - I would be paying £2251. Yes it'll cost you £1000 more, nearly twice as much for a vastly inferior car...

...Well a year and a half has past since my last review and so i give you my latest installment. My year old new car is now up for review! The New shape 2004 Honda Accord Type-S! I have driven the car for 31K miles now all in a year and a half, so i think i've expereiced things that people would normally experience in 3 years or more lol! I bought the car in late 2004 for a very good price (please see my further advice below). Honda Accord. Type S.

Advantages: spacious, refined, different and very quick
Disadvantages: none that ive come across

...I recently bought a Honda accord type S after lots of looking on the internet and at garages for a new car. And im glad i did. I wont go into the technical stuff here, get your self a brouchure from a garage for the facts and figures, but i will tell you about my experince. ********** I have had feedback on this Op surgesting that I do put in the tech stuff. And of course, I am always happy to comply !!!! Honda accord type S.. 2.4 litre, 4 cylinder in-line all aluminium DOHC i-VTEC engine (that means, Duel Over Head Cam and Variable valve Timing and Electronic lift Control, apparently). Producing 190 bhp with a top (limited) speed of 142mph. 0-60 comes arround in 7.9 secs, but as I have said, the time is less than this for sure (one day i will check it out with a stop watch). The gear box is 6 speed, so get used to changing...

Advantages: A sports saloon car!
Disadvantages: Costly to repair!

...this car to anyone as it is extremely realiable and efficient and at 29mpg not to bad at petrol for a 2.4 Litre car. It is old but still gives modern cars a run for their money as it offers alot of things which newer ones don't (160mph top speed!) And other than the cd player going wrong i do not have a bad word to say about it! Please be constructive in comments, Thanks!...

Advantages: Size, quality, reputation, ease of use. truly pocket size

...Having been stuck with a busted camcorder on the morning on an important family visit, I dashed to a major electrical store to source a replacement, stumbled across this camera, researched the others on display and chose the S26 for ease of use, merit for the make (I bought Lumix TZ5 and have been really pleased with it, quality, capabilities etc, great lens) and general feel for the camera. in my opinion, X70 zoom works very well, resolution excellent for an "older" user and their "junior" assistants. I think that Transfer speed is not rapid, but "so what" in a camera at this price point. Very happy to recommend for general everyday trouble free use. BUT buy it on line for £60 less than the big stores and be even more satisfied that I am Ron...

Creative Muvo2 4GB. Ipod anyone?

Advantages: Small, light and has a blue backscreen.
Disadvantages: Hard to navigate songs, doesn't come with remote, battery life.

Advantages: Huge zoom, Focus Tracking, Easy to use

Advantages: * passengers, lots of load space, Luxury and comfort
Disadvantages: only one rear access side door, engine mounted under passenger seat

.... My wife is only qualified to drive automatics, so this really was the only vehicle for us, as the passenger/load capacity is ideal, and the 2.4GS comes with an automatic gearbox. Driving the car is a dream, at 70MPH you can hold a normal level conservation with all passengers, and the two front seats are the "Captain" type seats with armrests. The suspension is excellent, it asorbs most road bumps and conditions with ease, and makes light work of speed bumps. Having had this car for 3 months I can only find two minor things I dislike. 1: The access for the passengers is Via a sliding side door, which means I have to make sure that side of the car is always kerbside when i park. 2: The engine is mounted under the floor, and to access it, you have to remove the front passenger seat. Apart from that I can whole heartedly reccomend this...

Advantages: Great Specification, Sat Nac, Cruise Controlm Electric Seats
Disadvantages: Some Issues with Airbags Sensors and Tire Wear

...Bought my 2.4 Abarth as an ex-demo model in 2002, overall very pleased with the car. The specification is fantastic for a car of its class, Sat Nav, Electric Heated Seats, Cruise Control, Auto Lights/windscreen wipers, Parking sensors. The 7" colour display in the center console is really impressive, friends cannot believe this car is supposed to be in the same class as a ford focus... Car drives very well and has torque all the way throught the rev range, partuclary nice is putting your foot down at 50mph and feeling the selespeed box drop down a gear you`ll be 80 and beyond before you even realise. Only thing I would say if purchasing one of these second hand, particulary the MK1 (2002) model, is to check the front inside edge of the front tires, Fiat sent all of these out with the Geometry all wrong and it will wear like crazy...

...Having researched a variety of portable MP3 players i decided to purchase the Creative NOMAD MUVO2. It cost £146 and comes with a 4GB mini hard drive that can store approx 1000 MP3s. Although i made my purchase through ebay you can pick the muvo2 up for anything between £175 - 230 in retail outlets and from the web. First impressions count for a lot as far as i am concerned and i wasn't dissapointed. The muvo2 is very small (about the size of a pack of 20 cigarettes) so it is easy to carry in your pocket without noticing it. It is available in 2 colours, black or silver (silver looks the better). So why did i go for the muvo2? Well, firstly, its made by Creative who are renound for producing quality audio equipment, secondly, the size and thirdly the price. As with most electrical equipment there are always disadvantages...
