Disadvantages: Too many limits to make it a real option to serious photographers.

...I recently attended a seminar on photography lighting, I was there as a guest speaker as were a few others and the gentleman that spoke directly in front of me, inspired me to write this review on the Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD. The reason he inspired me to write this is that the Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD is a camera I have tested in the past and found a few problems with, yet here was a professional photographer like myself, preaching to an audience of amateurs that if they wanted to get perfect results in portrait photography they could do it without a DSLR camera and that this Fujifilm camera was just as capable of producing the results when in the right hands. What he was telling the class was absolute nonsense and as he told the class to go online and check out reviews on this camera and to consider it ahead of splashing out...

Wrestlemania 2000

Advantages: The ladder match, the Main event, the hardcore match
Disadvantages: Much of the rest of it seemed like filler

Review of WWF - Wrestlemania 2000 (DVD)

LG 22LH2000. Satisfyingly adequate

Advantages: Connectivity, Weight, Price
Disadvantages: Build quality

...concerned about was connectivity because I have a number of digital cameras that have HDMI connections, a VCR and DVD player that connect via SCART and an S-Video to Composite Video output from my PC for when I want to use a second monitor. The 22LH2000 has 2 x SCART sockets (of which one is RGB), 1 x HDMI, 1 x Coax aerial, 1 x VGA monitor socket, an audio input and a set of Composite Video sockets. For the sake of experimentation (and nothing else) I did try plugging my PC into the VGA socket and the TV functions perfectly well as a monitor, with a maximum resolution of 1360 x 760 pixels. 600cc Bandit S year 2000 model

Advantages: cheap to buy and run
Disadvantages: taller and heavier than some similar bikes

...When I bought my Bandit I was looking for a bike that would be reasonably priced, cheap to run, easy to ride either solo or carrying a passenger and capable of covering reasonable distances. I can honestly say that in my opinion the 600 Bandit S lives up to all my expectations. I was mainly looking for the unfaired version, as I prefer the looks of the "naked" bike - a motorcycle should just be an engine, two wheels, a seat and a headlight! iPhone 3G S will have you stunned!

Advantages: It's advanced technology and huge variety of features.
Disadvantages: The very low and quickly decreasing battery life.

...The Fuji FinePix S1500 is the latest incarnation of the very successful FinePix S1000fd. It is very SLR-like in appearance and the added bulk of the battery-holder/grip does give it an assured feeling in your hands. Of course, this can be a disadvantage, and if you want a camera that you can just slip in-and-out of your pocket, then maybe a slimmer compact should be considered. The 12x optical zoom is excellent and it equates to 33-396mm in 35mm terms - and if this isn't enough, there is a 5.7x digital zoom feature too. The menus are friendly and easy to navigate, and there are helpful explanatory prompts that appear on thew LCD screen when the mode-dial setting is changed. LG 19LH2000 - Buy it if you see it cheap!

...Having been stuck with a busted camcorder on the morning on an important family visit, I dashed to a major electrical store to source a replacement, stumbled across this camera, researched the others on display and chose the S26 for ease of use, merit for the make (I bought Lumix TZ5 and have been really pleased with it, quality, capabilities etc, great lens) and general feel for the camera. in my opinion, X70 zoom works very well, resolution excellent for an "older" user and their "junior" assistants. I think that Transfer speed is not rapid, but "so what" in a camera at this price point. Very happy to recommend for general everyday trouble free use.
