...Having been stuck with a busted camcorder on the morning on an important family visit, I dashed to a major electrical store to source a replacement, stumbled across this camera, researched the others on display and chose the S26 for ease of use, merit for the make (I bought Lumix TZ5 and have been really pleased with it, quality, capabilities etc, great lens) and general feel for the camera. in my opinion, X70 zoom works very well, resolution excellent for an "older" user and their "junior" assistants. I think that Transfer speed is not rapid, but "so what" in a camera at this price point. Very happy to recommend for general everyday trouble free use. BUT buy it on line for £60 less than the big stores and be even more satisfied that I am Ron...

Sony KDL-S 26 A 12 U LCD TV digital HD ready

Advantages: Brilliant picture and sound, easy setup,weight
Disadvantages: none attributable to the TV at this time

...Our existing widescreen 28" TV (which was seriously heavy, needed 2 of us to move it - still at risk of hernia - and seemed to occupy a large section of our room projecting backwards nearly 2 feet) expired recently and refused to have anything more to do with us. Some quick net searches revealed the vast range of LCD widescreen TV's available, but importantly brought us up to date with imminent technological changes : we decided that, to futureproof a little, the set for us needed to be 26", digital ( but with analogue capability for the time being) incorporate freeview, and be HD ready, and for my wife in particular elegant in design and silver! A little gem at the top of the affordable SD range.

Advantages: Amazing features that packs a punch.
Disadvantages: Cant hold a steady frame at a X70 Zoom level. Poor lowlight picture quality.

There a very handy ?Quick Start? mode that kicks in after an impressive 0.8 seconds. The battery life is adequate and very slim keeping the weight of the unit down. The S26 captures video and stills to MPEG2 (DVD Quality) and Jpeg format. In the XP recording mode you can get a decent 50 minutes of recording on a 4GB SD Card. The function of uploading straight to YouTube is great for modern quick file sharing. Copying to DVD Disc is also an easy process. The picture quality in strong daylight is sharp and defined. However all is not necessarily perfect in the world of the Panasonic SDR S26. In low light or indoors quality, I found that the quality becomes significantly lost with the feedback...

This pictures So nyce you'll be square eyed in no time

Advantages: crystal clear sound and picture, lightweight, good sized screen and much more
Disadvantages: none what so ever

Day26 - Another Bad Boy artist poorly promoted!

Advantages: Some great songs from a new male rnb group
Disadvantages: Quite a few weak tracks on the album

...For those of you who have never heard of Day26 let me give you a quick introduction. In America P. Diddy has a programme called Making The Band. The first series created a pop boy band called O-Town. The second series created a mixed rnb group called Da Band. The third and most successful series created Danity Kane. And finally the fourth series created Day26 and a solo artist called Donnie Klang. To date Danity Kane have been the most successful group with 2 number one albums in America. Day26's first album, called "Day26" managed to get number one in the US. However over in the UK we hear nothing about them apart from rarely seeing one of there music videos every once in a while on MTV. ...The Fuji FinePix S1500 is the latest incarnation of the very successful FinePix S1000fd. It is very SLR-like in appearance and the added bulk of the battery-holder/grip does give it an assured feeling in your hands. Of course, this can be a disadvantage, and if you want a camera that you can just slip in-and-out of your pocket, then maybe a slimmer compact should be considered. The 12x optical zoom is excellent and it equates to 33-396mm in 35mm terms - and if this isn't enough, there is a 5.7x digital zoom feature too. A Pretty Picture

...The Sony KDL-26S3000 is a 26 inch flat panel digital LCD HDTV that is part of Sony's Bravia S-Series. It cost £370 from www.directtvs.co.uk - over £100 cheaper than on Amazon at the time proving that it really does pay to shop around for a new TV. It was very east to set up with everything more or less happening automatically as soon as you switch it on or plug them in. GT-S5600: A Great Touch Screen Phone

Advantages: Great Camera, Easy to use touch screen and lovely colour
Disadvantages: Easily Scratched and has an irritating vibrate eveytime you touch something

The contract is with Orange Dolphin and costs £15 a month and includes the phone, 100 minutes of calls to any network and unlimited texts. ---The Phone Itself--- The phone is a bar phone, not slide or swivel. It is approximately 10cm/4? in length and 5.5cm/2? in width. My version is in nice pale lilac though it does come in black and white. 26" of LCD fury proving that 'Life's Good'

...This TV is more 'worth it' than any hair shampoo could ever comprehend. The picture is vivid and the sound quality is incredible. The inbuilt free-view is definitely smile-worthy along with the number of inputs available. However, the best aspect of this flat-screen marvel is definitely the stylish, sleek and sexy matt black design that is so typical of LG. Last year I spent a good few months savagely roaming the internet looking for the perfect flat screen TV. I bought this LCD for £330 - pre-recession... - and I have not regretted it once. 26" is a very nice size as it is in between too big and too small - hence rendering it 'perfect'.
