Beyond WAP I've found the 7110's advanced phonebook very helpful, meaning that you need only enter a persons name once and can store their home, work and mobile numbers, email address, home address and all under that one entry. The calendar function of the 7110 is also very good, meaning you'll never forget important meetings, peoples birthdays or when you're meant to be meeting your mates down the pub. You can also set events to repeat themselves meaning you don't need to re-enter them individually. SDR S26

Advantages: Size, quality, reputation, ease of use. truly pocket size

...Having been stuck with a busted camcorder on the morning on an important family visit, I dashed to a major electrical store to source a replacement, stumbled across this camera, researched the others on display and chose the S26 for ease of use, merit for the make (I bought Lumix TZ5 and have been really pleased with it, quality, capabilities etc, great lens) and general feel for the camera. in my opinion, X70 zoom works very well, resolution excellent for an "older" user and their "junior" assistants. I think that Transfer speed is not rapid, but "so what" in a camera at this price point. Very happy to recommend for general everyday trouble free use. BUT buy it on line for £60 less than the big stores and be even more satisfied that I am Ron...

Advantages: Huge zoom, Focus Tracking, Easy to use
Disadvantages: Bulky, A little slow, AA batteries are a bit inconvenient

It is very SLR-like in appearance and the added bulk of the battery-holder/grip does give it an assured feeling in your hands. Of course, this can be a disadvantage, and if you want a camera that you can just slip in-and-out of your pocket, then maybe a slimmer compact should be considered. The 12x optical zoom is excellent and it equates to 33-396mm in 35mm terms - and if this isn't enough, there is a 5.7x digital zoom feature too. Nokia 7110 mobile phone, by orange.

Advantages: 1000 names and numbers in memory, Neo had similar one in the matrix !
Disadvantages: Software probs, sliding cover can wear out contacts.

..."spivs" at car auctions ! . I progressed through the range of ' well dodgey' phones that Orange had to offer during the mid to late 90's , untill I reached the best phone that I've ever owned ..... the 7110, I went from screens that displayed single lines of text , to this wonder , with a full large screen, displaying full pages, WAP sites, ( great , for the local weather, or booking theater tickets to crap plays , that you'd never think about seeing !! ) what ever, all I need from a phone is to , make and recieve a call, .....without , any problems. And this phone did just that . You could store 1000 names, numbers, addresses, email, + notes on all your contacts, fantastic ! . ( which is bloody marvelous if you're self employed !! ) I think I must have been lucky with the software , installed in my phone , cos I never had any probs...

...Nice phone - pity that the WAP is poor in general. I have a 7110e on Orange everyday 50 and this phone is one of the best out there. Of course theres the legendary SNAKE game - snake 2 now being the popular one, and the ability to store 4 phone numbers and an e-mail address per person but this is only in the phones memory might I add not on the sim card. The build quality of this phone is excellent and has a large screen display and text input is easy when using the predictive dictonary but why Nokia ommitted common slang and swear words from this is a mistery. The screen display is excellent and larger than most models making SMS reading a doddle. Another good point is that it can recieve logos and images from the many avaiable sites to make customisation easy and it can store 6 different ringtones so you can have 1...

...The Nokia 7110e is a lovely little phone, a good looking devil, very efficient and just bursting with all manner of exciting features. It's a phone that is available free with a number of contract packages and you might like to check out www.clubmobile.co.uk for further details of contracts available etc. It's a great size, small enough to fit in your pocket or handbag but chunky enough that you can get a good grip! It also has a key lock feature which is ideal if your phone is subject to being chucked in your bag as this protects keys from being pressed and calls made in error! It also has a slide panel on the front which provides extra protection. It has a lovely large screen which is very clear to read and the backlight stays on long enough that you never miss any important information. And as a bonus, when playing the games...

GT-S5600: A Great Touch Screen Phone

Advantages: Great Camera, Easy to use touch screen and lovely colour
Disadvantages: Easily Scratched and has an irritating vibrate eveytime you touch something

...My old phone decided to die on me a few weeks ago. So I decided it was time to invest in a new one, and I decided to go on contract. I ended up getting the new(ish) Samsung GT-S5600. The contract is with Orange Dolphin and costs £15 a month and includes the phone, 100 minutes of calls to any network and unlimited texts. ---The Phone Itself--- The phone is a bar phone, not slide or swivel. It is approximately 10cm/4? in length and 5.5cm/2? in width. My version is in nice pale lilac though it does come in black and white. The screen is a touch screen, and measures 4.5cm wide and 6cm in length. At the base of the phone there is three buttons, two of equal size with a nice brush metal effect, the equal size buttons are the ones that allow you to answer calls and end them. Advantages: lots of info and lets you know what you might be in for as an owner of the 7110

iPhone 3G S will have you stunned!
