...As seen in TESCO here is about as full a review of the two machines as I can get. DVD 750 - Available in most large Tesco stores, cost £179. There are three diffrent versions of this player but most on sale are the newwer chipsets and these have got over the original problems the player had with certain region 1 and 2 discs (more info at the wharfedale website www.wharfedale.co.uk). This player is indeed one of the best 'budget' DVD's I have seen so far, although there is a DVD 750S too which Tesco are selling for the same price..... read on DVD 750s - Available at some Tesco stores (bundled in piles with the standard 750) and at time of writing are available at TESCO.COM The latest version of the 750 (ie the S) is everything the 750 wasnt! Susuki GSXR-750. The Hooligans weapon of choice!!!

Advantages: Speed, handling, reliability, snarly exhaust note.
Disadvantages: Maybe not quite as stylish looking as some other bikes.

...always seem to give different BHP figures for my bike. So it is somewhere in the range of 130-150bhp. The bike is not as loud as a similar 600cc sports motorcycle. The engine does not need to rev as hard to access the power. I used to feel like I was banging through all the gears on my 600, right at the top end of the gears, but still lacking power. The 750 is far less frantic and you?ll find yourself changing gear a lot less often as the engine has more torque than a 600. There is more power lower down the rev range. The gears feel quite firm and slot into place reassuringly. I love the metallic snarl that the exhaust makes on Gixxers. It seems to egg you on saying `come on you wuss, thrash me how you know I like it!!!?. It?s not screamingly loud like on a 600cc but it has a very purposeful, snarly sound to it. Kawasaki Z750 - Commute, scratch and tour.

Advantages: Handles well for a 'budget' bike, friendly for newbies and fun for the experienced. Engine good

...Well, having passed my full motorcycle test (Restricted A2, 33bhp for 2 years) back in December, I wanted to quickly get rid of my 2k7 (and getting very expensive to run (+ uneconomical, noisy and useless at long distance faster riding) RS125. I kind of bought the Z750 on impulse. It was a good price for me (some £400 below parkers list) and for a 5 year old bike, incredibily clean. I would commute and enjoy occasional fun runs for about 800 miles before getting it restricted to comply with the (IMO!!) stupid EU regulations, so obviously performance now is merely adequate, but beforehad the 750's powerplant would give you all the performance you'd need (and want) on a public highway! Handling wise, well, let's say that in the corners it has no trouble dealing with being thrown about, so long as the road isn't really bumpy, then...
