Secondly, I used to have a Motorola A1000 and I was sceptical when they upgraded me to the U880 as I didnt think anything could rival my old phone. Now I have had the phone nearly a year and I am very happy with it. The U880 has a great range of functions which I will detail below: The U880 has a "profiles" setting which I find very useful. It easily enables you to switch between a number of predefined settings which you can set up for different environments, with different ring tones and message tones etc. These are: Normal; Silent; Vibrate Only; Outdoor; Headset; Customised 1; Customised 2. Vidal Sassoon VS880, my worst buy of 2007

...Having been stuck with a busted camcorder on the morning on an important family visit, I dashed to a major electrical store to source a replacement, stumbled across this camera, researched the others on display and chose the S26 for ease of use, merit for the make (I bought Lumix TZ5 and have been really pleased with it, quality, capabilities etc, great lens) and general feel for the camera. in my opinion, X70 zoom works very well, resolution excellent for an "older" user and their "junior" assistants. ...INTRO I recently managed to persuade my wife to upgrade her phone to the W880. Already being happy with her phone she gave it to me. ...I have had all types of phones, that is to say all different makes anyway. Ever since I had one of the somewhat brick like early Sony Ericsson phones they have proved far superior to the majority of other brands. There is something about them that is fresh and dynamic; they are a little more cutting edge perhaps without being overcomplicated. This particular model, the w880i is great, with an abundance of features and a nice sleek design it's easy to use and even easier to conceal. I won't bore you to death with the millions of features it has and it full specification, if you have any wits about you i'm sure you can find that information in a better format elsewhere. For the price if your printing on glossy paper you can get some of the best reproductions I have seen. It may aswell be a photo printer, its hard to see the dots that make up the picture and the colours have great contrast, their also both bright and vivid. Some of the worst print reproductions ive had are from Lexmark printers my old Z32 and others in the Z range which I feel often seem dull and dark. The resolution of the Epson 880 is 2880x720, the later 720 is not that important as this represents the area of the print head and number of dots down the page. The Epson 880's print quality is also helped by the fact that is has variable ink droplet sizes...

...This sony was not my first, i am a dedicated sony phone user and fell in love with the W880i when i first saw it. Its amazingly thin and light-weight, it's had its share of knocks and grazes but its still in great shape and i dont use a protective cover. I was worried about the battery life when i first saw this model, but had nothing to fear as the battery will live for around 3 days, with usage. The camera is good, although there is no flash which is dissapointing. The one disadvantage i have recently come across after owning my model for around 12 months, was that every now and then my phone temporarily loses all information saved on my memory card.
