Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation

Advantages: Evens skin tone, looks quite natural, a little goes a long way
Disadvantages: Caused me to break out, encouraged oilyness, didn't stay on amazingly long

...counter. I told her my budget, what my skin tends to be like, how much coverage I wanted and how often I'd be using foundation. For those who'd like to know (and I already explained my skin at the beginning), it went something like this: - £10-£15 Budget. - Medium to full coverage. - I use foundation practically every day. She recommended Max Factor Colour Adapt, it was around £11 and she happily went into detail about it. It has no SPF but you can easily sort that out by using moisturiser first, it's quite a liquidy consistancy and you only need to use a pea sized amount, it sets almost powder like. Sounded great to me, so I went ahead and got it. So, Amy, what was it like? Well, Ciao, I've been using this for around 2 weeks now and it definitely evened out my skin tone; even brought a bit more colour to my face without it looking...

Review of Max Factor Colour adapt Foundation

Max Factor Colour adapt Foundation

Advantages: stays on forever and lasted me nearly 2 years
Disadvantages: nothing really

...texture quite charming and it went on to my skin so smoothly. It cost me about 10 or 11 pounds witch isn't that cheap but as it lasted nearly 2 years... i found it good value for money also it dosent go on orange like most foundations do it came on a tinted skin colour ..so it was a nice colour too ....As the texture is quite thick and creamy, I only needed a pea size amount to cover my face and under my chin. when you apply it to your face it goes on like a powder but as if your putting moisteriser on thats how easy it is to use, you can either put dots on your face and rub them in or you can do it however is easier for you. either way it will turn out great with no lines or blotchy parts. I liked to use a soft sponge to sread it out evenly around my face and then pat lightly to set. After putting it on, my freckles were almost all gone...

Review of Max Factor Colour adapt Foundation

Max Factor Colour Adapt - Highly Recommended

Advantages: Light to wear, excellent blemish coverage, natural look
Disadvantages: Wears off after a few hours

...Max Factor Colour Adapt foundation is widely available and provides good value for money. The foundation is creamy and feels light to wear, but also offers great coverage of blemishes and flawless, even skintone, providing performance comparable to much more expensive brands. Matching skintone, this foundation gives a very natural look, is easy to remove using cleanser or cleansing wipes, and doesn't dry skin out. It blends easily and the paler shades are great for those with very fair skin. Having said this, however, coverage doesn't last as long as it could, although wearing a powder over the foundation seems to help. Also, the packaging makes it difficult to see how much product is left in the bottle, meaning that I always run out suddenly, without more to hand....

Review of Max Factor Colour adapt Foundation

Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation - a pleasure to use!

Advantages: Blends perfectly; really works to adapt to your natural colour
Disadvantages: None

...I have tried number of different brands and types of foundation over the years. I first used Max Factor Colour Adapt when I got a free sample of it after buying some other Max Factor products. Colour Adapt comes in five shades: Creamy Ivory, Warm Almond, Blushing Beige, the uninformatively-named Natural, and Golden. It claims to adapt to your natural skin tones to provide a natural finish. The free sample I received was Natural, which is a bit darker than my actual skin tone. I have very pale skin so I thought the sample would be useless. I decided to try it anyway. I applied a very small amount by putting small dots of it on my face and blending it in with my fingers. The product looked quite dark beige, but when I began to blend it in, it looked absolutely fine with my skin tone. I didn't look orange or have any harsh lines...

Max Factor Colour adapt Foundation

Advantages: it last's and last's
Disadvantages: the cost ia a bit high

...make it look more apealing to protential buyers.... I found its creamy texture quite charming and it went on to my skin so smoothly i also felt quite aroussed . It cost me about 10 or 11 pounds witch isn't that cheap but as it lasted nearly 2 years... i found it good value for money also it dosent go on orange like most foundations do it came on a tinted skin colour ... witch isnt a good descripthion ... because everyone has diffrent skin tones .... ( ALWAYS USE THE TESTERS BEFORE YOU BUY ) ..so it was a nice colour too ....As the texture is quite thick and creamy, I only needed a pea size amount to cover my face and under my chin. when you apply it to your face it goes on like a powder but as if your putting moisteriser on thats how easy it is to use, you can either put dots on your face and rub them in or you can do it however is...

Does This Have the 'S' Factor?

Advantages: Calms my hair more than other products.
Disadvantages: The RRP

...Last Christmas I was fortunate enough to receive a gift set from the Tigi S Factor range?. The sceptical side of me thinks that it may have been a hint to ?sort? out my hair!! - Price and Availablity - Many moons ago I only saw TIGI hair products at various hair salons that I rarely frequented, all priced considerably higher than other brands that you could pick up in run of the mill supermarkets or chemists such as Boots etc. However since receiving this product as a gift, I?ve been hunting around and found the following for those of you who may want to try the product: The RRP is £13.30. Try the following websites: www.wantthelook.com - £9.97 www.lookfantastic.com - £11.30 www.jasonshankey.co.uk ? currently having a sale and offering this at the reduced price of £7.98. - Packaging ? As already stated, this was...

Review of TIGI S Factor Silky Smooth Moisture Serum Restorative Treatment

Colour Adapt Foundation?

Advantages: good pump on bottle to aid application, long ;asting
Disadvantages: hard to blend, quite thick

...I went for a Max Factor Foundation as I knew the brand as was intrigued by the 'colour adapt' part of the labelling. As I had previously found it hard to find a foundation that matched and complemented my skin tone (I'm fairly pale in skin colour), this appealled to me as I'm always keen to avoid that over made up look. The bottle looked good, with a pump for easy application. I went for one of the paler shades, that looked to match my skin tone fairly well. The foundation itself was actually a lot thicker than I was used too, and quite powdery. I thought that this would be good as it would avoid the greasy look that some foundations had given me in the past after a few hours wear, The thickness of the foundation meant that I actually found it pretty hard to apply. It was difficult to judge the reight amount that would give me...

Colour Adapt Perfection

Advantages: Blends well, value for money, shades for everyone.
Disadvantages: re-application sometimes necssary

...I bought this product from a local Boots store for only £7.50. I had heard that this was one of the best foundations there is, especially for my fair skin tone. They were right. This line of foundation has an extensive range of shades from the ghostly white to the darkest brown, a colour for everyone. I managed to find my perfect shade quickly and efficiently without the need for testers. This foundation I found was easy to blend even upto my hairline and the small cracks around my nose. The visibilty was just enough and it's coverage beautiful. It was noticeable and because it had adapted itself to my skin, it gave my skin tone a look of perfection. It is exceptional value money and I would reccomend it to any woman who struggles with blending their current foundation or finding their shade. Removing the foundation couldn't have been...

Review of Max Factor Colour adapt Foundation

Maxfactor Colour Adapt...Could Be Better

Advantages: Does adapt to your skin tone, easy to apply.
Disadvantages: Not good for oily skin, doesn't last that long.

...I got some Colour Adapt Foundation from an offer at Boots, with a couple of other Maxfactor products, for free. I'd never tried any Maxfactor foundation, but i had used their Masterpiece mascara and thought it was very good, so i gave it a try. The first thing i noticed was that it started off being a little bit too light for my skin tone, but after a few minutes it really did change to the colour of my skin. However, soon after i realised it doesn't really give very good coverage, my skin has some marks and blemishes, which were still visible. I don't recommend this foundation for people with oily complexions, i have a very oily complexion and it didn't last five minutes. It didn't help with shininess at all, either. The consistency of it is like a liquid but slightly thicker, which i did like, as it was easy to apply. Overall i...

Review of Max Factor Colour adapt Foundation

"Don't mask your true colours. Match them"

Advantages: Really does adapt to your skin tones.
Disadvantages: Quite pricey - but worth it.

...One lonely, boring day at work I requested a sample of this foundation. Sure enough within two or three days, the sample arrived through my letterbox. The packaging claims that this foundation comprises of particles which adapt to the different natural variations of colour on one's face. Apparently, in conventional foundation, one would need up to four shades of foundation to achieve the same as this clever and rather aptly named "Colour Adapt" foundation by Maxfactor. The packaging also told me that this makeup evens out and blends with the skin to rid oneself of imperfections to create a flawless finish. It is oil free and dermatalogically tested. So with all of this in mind, I set about applying morning makeup routine. My first impression was that has is a very thick consistancy, much thicker than the foundations I...
