...The mini is a great car. Second in car of the centry behind the model T ford. Autocar's car of the centry and the car of the centry of many others. I love my minis they are great. I have driven other cars, including a hight modified vauxhall astra gte, but I love minis. I am currently driving a mini with 1400cc stage 3 engine with all the trimmings. It is a tatty looking B reg car (much more fun when you leave other cars for dust and they think, 'but but how? it is a tatty old mini!' By next year the engine will be in another of my minis, which I am working on at the moment, it is a 1967 mini with all the seams and gutters removed, a fibreglass flip front, bucket seats, vented discs with 4 pot calipers etc etc etc. You can do anything you like to a mini and personalise it in which ever way you want. ...It took me a whole week to understand why I was so popular, it did eventually dawn on me (having finally read the MINI owner’s manual) that I was now part of the MINI owners club, not being somebody who is used to waving at complete strangers I picked it up surprisingly quickly. ...The 1.3 Mini Cooper is an excellant car. However, is it really a Mini. I must confess I own 2 Minis, an X-reg and a C-reg. I also own an extremely rare 1980's Mini Van. So, some would expect my opinion to be biased. Well..... If you are looking out for a small classy looking car, which is cheap to run and look after, with many tuning capabilities and excellant handling, then the Mini is just for you. The 1.3i is very reliable, and so is the twin-point injection systems. Both have a tuning kit available at MiniSport, padiham where the power can be increased VERY significantly. The ECU also has a Superchips, re-programmable Computer unit which can be added for even more raw Horsepower! On the other hand, if you are looking for a small car for fun Sundays, and clubs, then maybe an older Mini is better. They are easier to work on and parts... Read review

...I bought the 4GB 2nd generation ipod mini in May 2005.One of the things that impressed me most about this genereation of ipod mini is its vastly improved battery life. Having owned the 1st generation mini, I know the only matter that hindered it from being 'perfect' is its dismal battery life.After using the 1st generation mini for a few months, a single charge could only give me a couple of hours of playtime. However, with the 2nd generation mini, a single charge could last me the whole week!Even after using it for almost half a year now, the battery is going just as strong. Some changes from the 1st generation mini includes a much brighter (and beautiful) matt finish.The colour of the arrow/pause/play/menu buttons now corresponds with colour of the mini.Sound quality remains the same - satisfactory as always for all ipod... ...I am going to start with the history of the mini the original clasic mini. 1990-2000 The re-launch of the Cooper in 1990 brought about a much needed revival of interest in the Mini, particularly in Japan. The 90s Cooper initially had a 63bhp 1275cc carb engine, then in 1991 had an injection version of the same engine. Perhaps the biggest change in the Mini came about in 1997 with the introduction of the twin-point injection engine with a front mounted radiator, this engine was introduced as standard in both the Mini and Cooper models along with safety features such as airbag and side impact bars in the doors. Along with this modernisation came the 'Sportspack' option which included 13in alloy wheels, large wheel arches. The final Mini rolled off the production line on the 6th October 2000. ...I'd been thinking about buying a mini-disc player for a while, but I objected to paying such a vast amount of money when I already had a discman and a walkman. It was just after Christmas and so I was feeling particularly loaded. I walked past dixons and saw the mini-disc players in the window, and I just decided to go for it! There are many advantages of the mini disc over the CD. For instance, they are smaller and less bulky and so easier to use on the run. Also they do not jump and damage the tracks with the slightest movement. The mini disc also has all the qualities of a CD which gives it the advantage of the cassette. Although a little extravagant, the mini disc was a good buy and I would recommend it to anyone with a little extra cash!!... Read review

...This Sony mini disk looks good and is cheap however I would not advise anyone to buy it, or any other mini disk player. The mini disk was supposed to revolutionise the music industry and eradicate cassettes, however this is not the case. When Sony invented the mini disk they also, needless to say, hyped it up phenomenally and put a great big price on the product. They are not all they cracked up to be and it is difficult to transfer tracks onto a mini disk and if anything goes it can be expensive to replace. The product looks good and has superb sound quality but still don't buy one unless you really really want to.... Read review
