...Mary J Blige hit the scene in 1992 with her debut album What’s the 411? A hip-hop album with an R’n’B twist. For me the album is one of her best, it shows her versatility and her unique rusky voice. Her first single Real Love is a true classic with fantastic remixes, which are still played in the clubs. The album when you realise the year is way ahead of it’s time. No one knew the now “Hip Hop Soul Diva” would woo the audience as much as she has. 1) Leave a message (INTRO) A spoken intro where Busta Rhymes (then unknown) leaves a message on Mary’s answer phone!! ...Hello folks and welcome to my review of another one of my favourite British comedies. Fawlty Towers - ahhh, British humour at its finest, despite the fact that they only made 12 episodes. (That has got to be a crime depriving the British public like that) But those 12 episodes have made their mark on British viewing public for decades. I’m still in hysterics when I watch these 12 fantastic episodes, so for those of you who have never heard of Fawlty Towers (and shame on you for not watching!! tee hee) here’s the 411. Fawlty Towers was filmed in the 70’s and is based on a hotel run by Basil Fawlty and his wife Sybil. Along with the rest of their staff, Polly, Manuel and a few other regular characters, they band together to make up this motley crew. Running a hotel isn’t as easy as it looks however... Read review

...Okay I hate to admit it. I’m a teen movie lover. No wait, I’m not embarrassed about that...I’m a tween movie lover! There I said it! And no I’m not embarrassed about it either (ok maybe just a little) Lizzie McGuire is (embarrassingly enough) one of my favourite TV shows. I know, I know I’m 19 and this show is like aimed at preteen girls but hey, you should all know by now I’m a 13 year old at heart ;) One of my friends told me that Lizzie McGuire was going to be turned into movie, basically just picking up after where the TV show left off, as sad as I am I really wanted to see it! Okay for all of you who are not too familiar with Miss McGuire here’s the 411.
