...Longleat Safari Park If you are under the impression that Longleat Safari Park is for the enjoyment of children only, then let me start by saying that this is one huge misconception. Even those who have closed hearts and minds will be softened and astounded by the vast and immense grounds and gratifying atmosphere this park holds. I had been to many zoo's and safari parks in the past, though when I began to watch 'Animal Park' on the television, a real life program following the staff, ground, Lord Bath and animals at Longleat, I knew that there was one other safari park I just had to visit, and the great aspect about it was that we were due to go on holiday soon after a few short miles away from the park. I wanna safari ride

Advantages: Superb rides and safari to enjoy
Disadvantages: Wish the monkey enclosure was back

...The West Midlands Safari park opened in 1973. The park has got a 4 mile safari and this contains over 600 animals from around 30 different species from Europe, Africa, Asia and others. They have a theme park as well which is next to the safari park as well. They have a reptile and insect house as well which IS easy for people to view and a sea lion area. Some of the animals in the safari are on the endangered list such as the jumping rat. This park contains 15 white lions which is the largest amount in the entire United Kingdom. My Experience -------------------- I have been to this safari park many times purely because my uncle works there and still does. The place is easy to find and well directed. Iron animal safari

Advantages: Great value, great fun, fantastic lunch, stunning views, the only way to see the countryside

A jeep allows the ?al fresco? experience, and with the capability of going both off and on road it is a great way of seeing the sites. Tour operators There are many different operators offering the jeep safari in Dalyan, including Kaunos Tours (who we went with), Ertac, Brilliant Tours and Ozalp amongst many others. On our tour, we saw many of the other operators at various places throughout the day, therefore suggesting that the route around Dalyan is pretty standard. ...After buying a new hamster a few months back now, we decided to treat it to a brand new cage, get rid of the old hamster and gerbil cage and buy a new one, the fact was though that we didn't have that much money to spend on one. We nipped down to our local pet shop, 'Seapets' and browsed through the Habitrail and Rotastak collection of cages. ...West Midlands Safari Park A large safari park between Kidderminster and Bewdly. It's easy to get to from main motorways. It is also signed from most main roads which are easy to follow and take you straight to where you want to be. You can choose to either drive around the safari park first or go into the main area which has a petting zoo, displays, shops and much more. Once you get there, there is plentiful parking for both cars and coaches, it's free to park and disabled parking is available nearer to the entrance. As you enter there is a row of shops in a covered area with a gift shop that you can visit either then or on your way out, there is a shop to purchase foods such as ice cream and fudge and various drinks, which can be enjoyed on your way around the attraction. Fantastic Day Out (Longleat Safari Park)

Advantages: A great day out, its well worth a vist, we all had a fantastic time

...Myself my partner and a few friends decided that we would have a day out to Longleat Safari Park on the Bank holiday Monday, I had been to Longleat before but when I was a child, it was a great day out back then and I was hoping it would be even better all these years later. As it was a bank holiday that we where planning on going on we knew it would be busy so we set of at 8.30am to get there for when it opened which was 10am and I'm so glad we did that because as we predicted it got incredibly busy later on. A Wild Day Out - Knowsely Safari Park

...Knowsley Safari Park is probably the closest thing you're going to get to a genuine safari park in the UK. It's by no means an accurate representation of the natural habitats of the animals there (for a start it rains more here than in Africa!), but it makes for a fun and educational day out and is better presented than a traditional zoo. *Where Is It?* Knowsley is located just outside Liverpool and is easily accessible from the M62, you just need to follow the brown safari signs (which, incidentally, makes a fun game for restless children!). It has an abundance of attractions to keep you and your family busy for the whole day.
