...?.. Once ?flipped up? we have a good sized main screen, although this constantly gets smudged and needs wiping which is another annoying factor. The menu is pretty easy to navigate, comprising of nine main areas: Games: The phone only comes with one game, a war planes games, lots of shooting. Not my sort of thing. I downloaded a game called ?block-breaker? from a website (http://www.gameloft.com/) for 3 Euros. But it was stressful and the website took me ages to locate. The game is pretty cool though. The phone has a pretty high memory and you can store about a 100 messages between all these folders. ...This is the 2nd Sagem myc5-2v I have bought but only because of my own stupidity of leaving it in the pub one evening...! I had always wanted a clamshell style phone and also always wanted a camera phone but the prices in most shops put me off getting one until I saw the Sagem myc5-2v on the Argos website for £49.99 so I clicked reserve, jumped on the train and half an hour later I was the proud owner of a beatiful sleek black clamshell camera phone! by opening the phone and pressing the ok button it will take you to the main menu options which shows 9 main options from writing a text to exploring the internet. Each option then has further options to chose from such as alarm, calendar, to do etc. The contacts menu is one of the best I have seen on a phone - you can save photos of people in your book and when you call them...

...the sagem my g-5 is a decent phone but does not stand up to the phones from nokia and sony ericson just the other day i was siting down listening to a lecture and my phone rang it was not because of my normal careless behavour but because the phones on button is badly placed so that i can acidently turn it on.The ring tones are good but the tone you can get is liberty x and you can not download more.The games are probely the best part of the phone hence the mini joypad on the handset and you can download as many games as you want and you even start out with three games which are all decent.The phone was good value for money for the low price of £59.99 which is good for an avarage phone.The battary talktime is avarage and will last for about four days which is okay but some of the nokia phones battary lasts for two weeks.the reception is...

My sagem My X-2

Advantages: cheap, durable, small, colour screen

...I bought this phone after I dropped my Samsung in water and need a cheap replacement. I bought it from an O2 store and it cost £79. The phone is a flip phone which is a navy colour with a silver trim. It has a colour screen and built in camera. The dimensions are 82 x 43 x 23 mm and it weighs about 80g. My quick review of the Sagem MYC5-2V

Advantages: Small, stylish clamshell design, loud ringtones, easy to use, good camera quality
Disadvantages: Blurred video, only comes with trial games.

...it flashes their photo on the screen (pretty neat!). It has room to store multiple numbers to one contact. The photo snapshot quality is above average for a phone its price, but the video quality is a little less good, usually giving blurred pictures. You can download games, pictures, videos, news and more on Vodafone Live!, which is great because it is free to browse! The phone comes with 3 preset games, but all of which are short trials, so if you want games you will have to download them from Vodafone Live!, usually at £5 a game. Other features include voice record (only up to 30 seconds), call log listing calls you have answered, missed etc, alarm, stop watch, timer, audio player, 'to do' list, calender, messaging centre with all your usual features and a very detailed settings menu, letting you change lots of features...

Sagem MyX5 - Durable & Useable

Advantages: Easy to use, durable, simple, does the basics
Disadvantages: Camera not great, noisey keypad

...This was my third mobile phone in the last 6 years, and my first camera phone. I got it from the Orange website for £50 and because of its cheapness I wasn't too ambitious of its quality, especially the camera part of it. I was right to have this attitude I think because the camera isn't very good quality; faint lines appear on the screen when taking a picture and it doesn't focus very well, nor zoom in very far. Overall it's not the kind of camera you would want to take a decent picture with. However, bad point aside I find that this phone is very durable - although I must admit that the keypad has fallen out a few times and is rather noisey when texting compared to other phones. It's a fairly good size, easy to carry around and quite strong - I can't stand all these clam designed phones which look like they could snap any minute...

...Have just bought a second hand MY-X5, on T-Mobile. A great looking little phone in silver, with a large colour screen. The first thing I did after getting it was to get it Unlocked. For the uninitiated this means that I am now able to use any Network, and I have since plonked in an Orange Sim card, as Orange is the best in my area. As for the features of the phone, coloured icons lead you through the menus, which are easily accesed using the arrow keys. First is the Phonebook, which can store 90 numbers on the Sim card, and 300 on the phone. Each person can be put into a category, such as friend, colleagues, VIP etc. Next up is Accesories, which includes a very functional and easy to use Calculator, Alarm Clock, and Currency Converter, and a Countdown Timer, great for making sure you don't burn your fairy cakes! ...I bought the Sagem myX5-v2 because it was the cheapest phone iI could find witrh a camera, and I had been very impressed with an earlier model- the myX-2. It indeed was cheap, it cost me £45 and 5 of those punds was talk time. At first I was very impressed by the luxury of all the more up to date functions. There was a camera plus more options available. However I think this model has less originality than the myX-2. It seems to have taken on alot of the charecteristics of other phone brands. This is not a problem however, I was more concerned when using my house phone when my mobile was next to it. Everytime I used the house phone I could hear the interferance noise that can be heard when receiving a call or text message at the same time. However I was not receiving either, which lead me to conclude that the phone sends or receives data...
