My Sagem My X-6
Review of SAGEM MyX-6 by
annaspanner11
Advantages: Trendy, Looks good, easy to use
Disadvantages: Poor camera, very few games
...I had been stuck with a Siemens C45 phone for quite some time before purchasing the Sagem My X-6. I had been disappointed at the lack of features and 'coolness' the Siemens C45 contained, and, after months of stick from peers, I decided to invest in a brand new top-of-the-range phone.
I never thought I could afford a colour-screen camera phone for around £100, but my wishes had been granted once I scoured the internet and found the Sagem My X-6.
A week or two after ordering the Sagem My X-6, it arrived on my doorstep. As soon as I saw it I fell in love with it. I hardly had to read the manual, as the phone was so simple and easy to use, yet it had a good range of features to keep me entertained for a few hours! I loved how clear and colourful the screen was, and enjoyed browsing through the wide selection of wallpapers...

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Review of Sagem MC 920 by
tuppney
Advantages: small, compact, vibrating
Disadvantages: none
...Having used mobile phones for many years now I have found that my Sagem mc920 to be the best model that I have ever had the chance to use.
I have tried other networks which worked for a while but on my moving to the country I found that the other networks did not work due to poor signalling in my area.
I trust my little sagem as I love the way it fits snuggly into my jeans pocket.
There are 5 different coloured fronts for the sagem which consists of the colours, Silver, Green, Blue, Red and Yellow.
You can have a vibrating phone or a normal phone with the vibrating mode switched off.
There are many features with the Sagem if you are willing to shop around for them.
When I moved into my new home I had a slight accident with my trustworthy phone and dropped it in water, the phone still worked but the battery was totally ruined. My...

It's a deeper shade of blue..
Review of Nokia 5110 by
ilovechris
Advantages: changeable covers for the personal touch
Disadvantages: Annoying looking arial
...After spending 6 months with a Sagem RC815 plus phone, it was a welcome change to find a decent little phone which suited my needs. The phone I decided I wanted was he 3210 but unfortunately for me it wasn't on my tariff, so I thought I'd have to 'settle' for the 5110 but it's actually a fantastic phone once you get used to it. It has a variety of 30 ringtones (double that of the sagem), interchangeable covers... (to give it that personal touch)easy to use text messaging service (well easier!) and of course games to keep you occupied when you're meant to be working!
Another good thing about it is it's battery life which is practically triple that of the sagem and can last up to 5 hours of talktime (so it says in the catalogue). In short I love this phone!...

It's a phone
Review of Sagem RC 815 / 820 by
squares67
Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: limited
...I bought a Sagem RC815 phone about 18 months ago it cost me £100 and they have now dropped in price to £40 and that is the newer product. The phone does everything that I need it to do which is just to make a few calls receive them and send messages. I'm not worried about all the gimmicks of games and hundreds of different rings. All said and done what is a phone for but to receive calls. I've never had any problems with my phone and it has been very reliable. Extras for the phone are expensive so I haven't bothered to buy them....

Sagem myC2 the next generation
Review of Sagem MYC-2 by
wacky_jacqui
Advantages: Small and compact
Disadvantages: hard to find accessories
...I have recently perchased the next generation in the Sagem family, the Sagem my C2-2, This is a lovely designed little phone containing all the features of its counterpart the Sagem my C2, with a few added extra's.
It contains all the normal features you would expect from a mobile phone, text messaging, phonebook ( in which you can assign caller groups to your different numbers) a clock and all the basic functions.
It also has the added bonus of a calculator, timer, alarm and currency convertor. The Sagem my C2-2 includes one game, but as I dont really bother with games on my phone's, I'm not too worried about this. You have a choice of colour backgrounds when using the different functions of the menu, plus a choice of wallpapres to use as a screensaver. It includes one real tone ringtone, which at the moment is 'Hey YA' and a varied...

Bon. Tres bon.
Review of SAGEM MyX-6 by
Bel_Ludovic
Advantages: Most things good but camera excellent
Disadvantages: Accessories and linking to PC can be complicated, Planet Sagem website could be better thought-out
...a reputation for freezing and sticking, but mine has been well-behaved so far. I paid £100 for it and feel I've bagged a real bargain. It looks good and it works great. For someone like me who's used to owning basic phones, the ability to set photos as wallpapers or set photos to contacts has kept me mindlessly occupied for hours.
Words of warning. Though the phone itself is good, beware buying accessories. If you want to transfer your pictures and voice recordings to and from your PC, you're encouraged to dowload Sagem's 'My Pictures and Sounds' software from their Planet Sagem website, a kind of 'fan' site for Sagem owners, with forums, dowloads, blah and blah. Obviously you'll need to own a data cable to hook the phone up to the PC, but beware that *only* the official Sagem cable, purchasable *only* from Sagem Online will work with the 'My...

A perfect 1st Phone
Review of Sagem MY 501C by
aaranj2007
Advantages: Small Clamshell Design
Disadvantages: Easily scratched
...The Sagem My501c is a great first mobile phone for teenagers who want all the latest features on their phone. It is also great for parents who want to get to grips with technology. It has a great array of features:
Bluetooth
1.3 Megapixel Camera with 10x Digital Zoom
MP3 Player (AAC Compatible)
Video Player
WAP
Alarm Clock
MP3/Polyphonic Ringtones
PC Connectivety (USB Cable NOT supplied)
It is very cheap at only £49.99 on T-Mobile Pay as You Go (no contract) and with tarrifs starting from 5p/per min it is very good value for money. It comes with a 1 Year Guarantee from Sagem so you are covered against any factory faults.
However for all it's pros their are a few con's. The first being that it is not the most scratch-resistant phone and video file compression can take a while but overall it is a very good 1st mobile and would make...

A real cutie of a phone
Review of Sagem MC 920 by
catt
Advantages: Small. Available in silver. Great price. Available on Pay and talk.
Disadvantages: Not clear when it needs recharging
...It's SMALL (11cm) and you can get it in SILVER! Call me a fashionita but that's what I wanted from my mobile phone. Add that it was just £39.99 and available on a PAY AS YOU TALK tariff through vodafone (so no contract or monthly charges) and I had the Sagem MC920 in my basket and was heading for the till.
So far I'm very happy with my new little phone, it has great features like VIBRATING ALERT and HANDS FREE MODE - where if you press the answer button twice the volume becomes super loud so you can speak while having the phone feet away. (this can be deafening if you press the button twice by mistake though!!)
One problem I've discovered with the Sagem MC920 is that it isn't very clear when it needs RECHARGING. There is no sound alert to let you know that the battery is low (unless you are in the middle of a call) and the bars...

When I Grow Up I Want To Be A Nokia
Review of Sagem My X-5 Mobile Handset by
lwperkins
Advantages: Small,light,feature packed
Disadvantages: Not available on all networks
...Before I start this op, be under no illusions on my feelings about Sagem – I’m less than impressed. Its nothing personal – I feel the same way about Marmite.
Sagem make a wide variety of technological products – most telecommunications based, but the two things I’ve encountered bearing the Sagem logo – a mobile phone and some French traffic lights, both functioned with the same level of woeful inadequacy as to make me doubt the efficiency of Sagem.
A couple of years ago I bought a Sagem 920 mobile because I liked the colour. I know that is really sad but it was a really fantastic shade of iridescent green. However despite its cute look it was fiddly and difficult to use and kept breaking down so after that experience I swore nothing would ever tempt me to buy a Sagem mobile again.
Last year however, I won a Sagem myX 5 in a bonus...

Sagem...huh
Review of Sagem MY3020 by
max_747
Advantages: cheap for what it is!
Disadvantages: Not as good as a nokia
...It was my 12th birthday last year and all I wanted was a mobile. So with £60 in my wallet I marched into Argos and bought a Sagem MY 3020.
The phone is a nifty little number with an incredibly original shape and blue back light! It provides many of the Nokia 3330 features such as predictive text messages, WAP, changable covers (although only in colours), ringtones, composer, animated screensaver and games. However the Nokia phones are slightly better since that they provide a much more quality feel, downloads, free stuff on the internet etc. But what do you expect, a Nokia phone can be for twice the amount of a Sagem!
*Good Points*
I loved the design of the phone and it is so small it can fit snuggly into your pocket. It runs extrememly well too and the bettery can lat anything up to a week! The games also are very original...
