Sainsbury´s comes to you
Advantages: No heavy bags to carry
Disadvantages: too often substitutes
...I am using Sainsbury´s online shop for a year now.
Groceries online is a very comfortable way of shopping and widely offered now but I decided for Sainsbury´s because I know their products.
First of all I have to say the quality of fresh and storable products is excellent. The same like you would pick in a store.
Fresh items offer you a button to "pick" ripeness or size, likewise to the choice you would have in a real store.
You can also store your reward card details and collect the points like usual.
Register at Sainsbury´s online
*******************************
The only thing you have to enter first is your postcode to see if you are in one of the areas they deliver. After that you have to fill in your delivery details, give a password to secure your data under it and off you go. Your data will be stored from now on, as well...

Sainsbury?s Are Good To Me
Advantages: Plenty of Chicken. Tasty Roast Potatoes. Great Sauce.
Disadvantages: None for me
...As I am trying to keep on a healthy eating option, I recently bought Sainsbury?s Be Good To Yourself ? Tomato and Basil Chicken with Roasted Baby Potatoes.
I found this meal for one person in the chilled section of my local Sainsbury?s store. It weighs 450 grams and costs £2.99 GBP (normal price), but at the time of writing this review, Sainsbury?s are selling two of this type of meal with £1.00 GBP off two.
**Packaging**
As with some of the other meals I have written about, Sainsbury?s Be Good To Yourself ? Tomato and Basil Chicken with Roasted Baby Potatoes comes in a plastic tray covered with a clear plastic film. All this comes in an outer cardboard sleeve. I find the way the meal is presented is ideal, as I looked inside the inner tray by sliding it from the outer sleeve, enabling me to look at the food before buying...

Sainsburys
Advantages: prompt delivery
Disadvantages: Website is slow, substitutions are not specified accurately on the receipt check list
...The site loads quickly and is regularly updated. Sainsbury?s website uses the traditional white background and orange colours. The site appears bright, clear and inviting. Before you decide to register with the website, you should check whether Sainsbury?s online will deliver to your area by entering your postcode. If they do, then you can proceed to shop.
Unlike many other websites, the information required isn't intrusive. You do need to supply a phone number which is useful if deliveries are delayed, or the driver is having difficulty in finding your house. On the occasions that I have ordered my food drivers have called for directions, whilst letting me know that they are delivering early!!
When you have completed the registration process, a message will state that you can start home shopping with the standard delivery charge...

SAINSBURY'S FOR SALE
Advantages: wide range of stock
Disadvantages: prices are higher
...One of the things that is annoying about living in this Suffolk town is the lack of shopping facilities. Yes we have the obligatory woman?s fashion shop and we can even push to a Burtons and Woolworths. But when it comes to food shopping the town severely lacks (along with health care, leisure facilities etc).
Indeed when it comes to shopping for food, you have the following choices: Aldi, which is okay but you can hardly ever get the same thing two weeks on the row, and some of there items really do lack any quality. Next up is Co-op, which is run by a prat and that shows throughout the way the store operates. However, Co-op does offer some good deals, and shouldn?t be dismissed out of hand. And finally we have my favourite ? Sainsbury?s!
Sainsbury?s in my opinion is a great store, they generally offer good quality items...

Sainsbury's Online - Highly Recommended
Advantages: Very easy to order, good customer service
Disadvantages: None really
...I have a Sainsbury's store less than 2 minutes walk from my home but I've been using sainsburys.co.uk (which is listed here as sainsburys.com for some reason - it's the same site by the way) for grocery shopping for about 12 months now. Why order online when there's a store so close, you might ask? Well that's because basically about once a month I order items for the office such as can drinks, tea, coffee, cereals, fruit, dishwasher supplies, cleaning products, etc. When I'm ordering 20 boxes of cereal and 100s of can of soft drinks and tea and coffee in bulk, I'm certainly not going to be able to carry all that myself when we can have it delivered straight to our office kitchen!
THE SITE
The site itself is very ORANGE obviously to go with their Sainsbury's logo which itself is orange, I try not to concentrate...

TU at sainsburys
Advantages: nice clothes in a variety of sizes.
Disadvantages: None.
...I don't normally tend to shop in Sainsbury's which you'll know if you've read my reviews because almost everything I review I seem to get from ASDA, but that's only because it's very local and has low prices. I pop into Sainsbury's when I'm local and I do realy like their clothing range.
The womens sections sports lots of different styles and has clothes for plus sized ladies or petites. The clothes are modern and fashionable and You can buy everything really from tights, socks, knickers and bras to t shirts, jeans, skirts and footwear. Tu also sell a different accessories like hair clips and cheaper jewelery which I think is nice to wear at work when you don't want to wear your best. All of the items are affordable and I think everything is worth it's cost there to be honest.
The mens section has trousers, jackets etc, but being single...

DOES GOOD FOOD REALLY COST LESS IN SAINSBURY'S?
Advantages: Good Quality Produce. Fewer Check Out Queues. Good Electrical Bargains. The Best Trolleys
Disadvantages: Limited Clothes Range. Some Items Still Expensive.
...changed very little over the next seven decades. I have just been looking at a Victorian photograph of one of their London branches, it is the spitting image of their old store (long gone now) in Western Road, Brighton that I well remember being taken into as a small child in the 1960's.
Indeed until 1973, the whole company remained in the private hands of the Sainsbury family; it was in that year the biggest floatation that the stock exchange had ever seen.
The modern Sainsbury's, as an organisation, is actually surprisingly complex and encompasses several other stores that I had not heard of. In 2006 we have; Sansbury's Supermarkets, Sainsbury's Local, Bells Stores, Jacksons Stores and JB Beaumont, Sansbury's Online and last but not least Sainsbury's Bank.
HOW MANY BRANCHES?
As of March 2005 there were 465 Sainsbury...

Sainsbury's - my favourite supermarket
Advantages: Good offers, good quality
Disadvantages: None
...Out of all the supermarket 'Big Boys' - Sainsbury's is my favourite! There are a number of reasons for this. One reason is that Sainsbury's is very close to the town shopping centre where I live. I can park on Sainsbury's, do my shopping in town and then get my groceries.
I really like the layout of the Sainsbury's store. I can find everything easily. It is not too big, nor too small. The decor and the lighting are attractive (I find Tesco's floor pattern not very appealing!). Overall I find it a very pleasurable shopping experience.
I also feel that the quality of the fruit and vegetables, meat and bakery products in Sainsbury's are first class. There is a wide selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, including organic and Fairtrade items.
There are always a good range of offers in store, particularly in the meat section...

A basic wholemeal bread from Sainsburys
Advantages: Reasonable in price, nice tasting bread
Disadvantages: The soft crust and thinnish slices may not appeal to some.
...Review of Sainsbury's Basics Wholemeal Bread
The Product
I am reviewing Sainsburys Basics Wholemeal Bread, one of the many lines introduced to the supermarket's budget range of foodstuffs and household goods.
Packaging, Storage Advice, Taste and Texture
The 800g loaf of medium sliced bread is simply packaged in a transparent polythene wrapper. The wrapper bears the distinctive Sainsbury's Basics logo in a white font on an orange flash with the product description in orange on a white flash. The wrapper also carries the ingredients, nutritional values, allergy advice and storage instructions on the reverse. The packaging can be recycled in larger branches of Sainsbury's should your local refuse collection not cater for polythene.
This bread should be stored in a cool dry place away from sunlight and strong odours. We keep...
