Team Fortress 2 - the most original game for a long time!

Advantages: You'll laugh from start to finish

Team Fortress 2 (updated)

Advantages: good team play, fun graphics, constantly updated and improved
Disadvantages: hard!

...Since Team Fortress 2 has been updated alot lately, i only think its fair i update my review. TF2 is a first person shooter, online multiplayer fiasco. Its like Battlefield 2 took some drugs with Walt Disney and then got in a washing machine and set its self to rinse. The graphics, as you can see, are very cartoony, as was the case with TF classic (so im lead to believe). But dont let that put you off. They are awfully good graphics and its quite a pretty game. Its worth mentioning that like the battlefield series of games, (and others) TF2 has "classes". There's the scout, Pyro, heavy, demoman, soldier, medic, spy, engineer and sniper. Unlike other games though, the classes here are very very different. The difference between the Scout and Heavy for example are astronomical. The scout has only 150 health, a bat, a pistol and shotgun...

Salomon ST80 limited edition

Advantages: Good looks, great price, great overall performance.
Disadvantages: Only available in one size (8.5 UK).

...Last year (2000) Salomon announced the release of two new skates, the ST90 and the ST80. For some reason Salomon decided to scrap production of the ST80 and released the ST70 (a cheaper model) instead. Last summer Salomon decided to sell off all of there sample models of the ST80 so now these samples are available. Since these are sample skates they were only ever made in one size (uk 8.5) so if this size is too large or too small for you then forget about buying these skates as riding wrongly sized skates can be detrimental to the health of your feet. Out of the box these skates look amazing. The cool blue-grey colour used for the boot is definitely the most aesthetically pleasing of on any of the recent Salomon skates. I can still remember the frisson of fear whenever the team of archaeologists were using their tools to disinter a human skeleton!
