...The site cleverly named bluecyle.com deals with good which are being re-sold, so recycled. I heard about this site through a friend who has used it for quite a long time. Bluecyle.com is a company of Norwich Union, the homepage is very boring and quite ordinary. I think the best thing on this site is the auto salvage, where they have police salvaged cars They auction over 30,000 auto salvage vehicles a year, so who know you could find yourself a bargain. Although, a quick browse tells me the prices start off quite high, who knows and you may be able to find yourself a bargain. However, you can’t register online you have to ring a London number and then you will be a member, seems a bit long winded if you ask me. It’s quite a boring site, it seems so dull and blue. ...This is my first review on the horror genre. Ghost Ship was released in the US for the Halloween season and made its way to the UK recently. The Ghost Ship was an Italian luxury Cruise liner Antonia Graza built in 1954. On its voyage to US in 1962 it suddenly disappeared never to be seen again until 40 years later. The story moves onto a motley crew of a salvage ship. Gabriel Byrne plays Murphy, a sympathetic Captain and father like figure to the remainder which includes Epps (Julianna Margulies) the only woman in the crew. They just had a successful salvage and are celebrating when a stranger appears. He tells them that he is a pilot and has seen a wreck of a cruise liner in the Bering Sea. Advantages: beautiful, magnificent songs with great lyrics

...If I were stranded on a desert island, this is the album I would hope I had managed to salvage. It is a beautifully crafted, perfectly flowing piece of work that stands as CH's finest hour. More polished than Woodface, it produces less smiles but allows you an hour to drift off and be led where the music takes you. It's like floating on a raft through the initial songs, the tide rising in the middle until you are thrown down into the water again until the stunning, beautiful title song which acts almost as the death of the album. Lyrically beautiful, Finn's songwriting is based around a couple of lines in each song that it is impossible to forget. Your skin is like water on a burning beach. I don't pretend to know what you want, but I offer love; both lines that are waiting for the perfect moment.... Read review

...Thats what the packaging on the DVD claims, but to an avid horror fan, this really isn't the case. Ok so there maybe the odd part that makes you jump slightly but there's nothing really special in Ghost Ship that you haven't already seen in other movies. Well, that's been a bit unfair really, the slaughter scene at the beginning of the film is really good with plenty of blood and guts for any horror fan, but sadly that's the most gore you'll get, except for the odd swimming pool of blood. Anyway enough of this banter, let's get on with the story of the film: In 1962 the Antonio Graza mysteriously disappears, with all it's crew and passengers, jump forward to present day and we meet a salvage crew, hired by a young pilot to salvage an abandoned ship, the Antonia Graza. ...Jude Law, Natalie Portman, Julia Roberts and Clive Owen all have very good acting talent, and regular movie-goers would expect a great epic of a film. Instead, on the menu, we are served something that, in my opinion, has the same potential as a can of beans: It takes ages to get into, and once you're into it, it really isn't anything special at all. The story revolves around 4 people who are thrust together in a weird and, if i do say so myself, very complicated Love-Square, where one of them is having an affair with another behind a third person's back, and so on. At this stage you are probably thinking it sounds pretty complicated. So what can we salvage from this mess then? Well the acting overall is good. ...by a reporter a top team of salvage experts are recruited to bring the ship back. The job will be worth millions to the salvagers. The twist is fairly predictable and it really doesn’t take the brain of Britain to work out the moves and the ending leaves us to believe there could be a Ghost ship 2 (lets hope not) I was really disappointed by this film-it was a complete let down. It was hardly scary enough to frighten the ‘milder’ person, although it was a little bloody. The plot of the film is very simple and basic, and the film didn’t seem too long – which was a good thing for those of us that were bored. Set mainly on a derelict ship of the film sees the demise of the salvage crew one by one, which is totally predictable. One survivor is all that remains, who has a little help from a friendly ghost. ...Kenneth MacMillian is one of the greatest modern choreographers. He developed some of the most expressive modern ballets whilst working at The Royal Opera House. This revival of one of his key works is well worth a visit. If you have never been to the ballet or, perhaps, have been put off by the idea that ballet is 'twee', avoids adult themes or is not driven by narrative, this is the ballet to change your mind. The ballet is an interpretation of Abbe Prevost's Manon Lescaut, a classic French novel, and it's heroine is a woman for whom it comes as a revelation that love is worth more than money. Early reviews of the ballet made much of how unlikeable Manon was - what bad company she kept - and how her redemption could not salvage her as a likeable character. Advantages: Nice idea
Disadvantages: 20 minutes in and you've seen it all before

...Is it worth going to see the most hyped film of the summer? This film has had more exposure than Mi:2 and Gladiator put together. Sadly it just isn't up to the task. The film opens nicely with a good idea which ultimately should have remained on paper. 20 minutes in and it all goes downhill very quickly, becoming another run of the mill teen scream of which there are too many. Indeed the plot becomes a 'Guess who dies next' affair, but is not in the same class as the Scream trilogy. Horror quickly turns to humour and all the ideas grind to a halt within half an hour. The film only just avoids the turkey pile with some reasonable performances by a cast attempting to salvage the dreasful script. Go and watch Gladiator again instead of paying money to watch this one, although it is maybe worth a look on video.... Read review
