Lloyds TSB
Advantages: Generally good service, helpful!
Disadvantages: High charges!
... Lloyds TSB
I have been with Lloyds TSB literally all my life, they've always seemed to be a good bank to me, they won't lend me money as it is as I've never had credit and have been a student and never had a full time job, which is good, a lot of banks don't care and will give money out to anyone regardless of whether they can pay it back or not, but I've never had this with Lloyds, the only thing with them is the charges they put on your account for an unplanned overdraft, but these unplanned overdrafts I take with Lloyds really are a godsend when my wages are short by 50 pound one month and my phone bill needs paying so I don?t mind a £25 charge for a £100 unplanned overdraft, it s when you go overdrawn by 4p that the charge is annoying!!!
Other than this, Lloyds have been a very good bank for me, yes they try to sell me...

Lloyds on Lloyds
Advantages: Many branches, deposits easily made
Disadvantages: Sometimes the shear size cannot deal with individuals across depts
...Lloyds TSB, a fusion giant of the Lloyds Bank and the Trustee Savings Bank in 1995, becoming one of largest banks in the UK. Its head office now in London, Gresham Street. In Scotland it is known as Lloyds TSB Scotland. It also owns Cheltenham and Gloucester, Scottish Widows, and Black Horse.
This is an example of a monster of a bank who are extremely good to you if you are paying the staff wages, but when you get into difficulties they seem to heavily crush you. Mind you it is not fair to say Lloyds are alone in this, all the financial institutions operate this way.
But Lloyds in my experience are relatively good in some departments but poor in others. If there are no problems with your accounts then there is not really a problem. However, if you open many accounts with them, they have various departments dealing...

Sam Powerless
Advantages: Non violent
Disadvantages: Non interesting
...We (sorry,I mean Father Christmas!) bought this game for our five year old son, as he is mad about fire engines. I do feel that at five he is really still a little too young for computers and consoles, but hey, he's a kid and he loves them so we've allowed him to use my Nintendo DS when we have travelled and more recently for short intervals at home. To reach a happy medium, we decided he could have a few of his own games, but they must not contain any fighting.
In this game, you play the part of a young boy, Sam Power. Sam is helping out his uncle, who runs the fire station.
To Begin
The opening screen gives the usual options, to create a new game or continue a saved one and also a chance to access the options. The only reason I mention this, is because in addition to seeing the credits and choose your language, you...

Lloyds banking
Advantages: Easy way to keep track of finances
Disadvantages: Can be slow at times
...Lloyds TSB internet banking lets you manage your finances, apply for loans, credit cards, mortgages & pay off bills from home or anywhere with internet access.
It seems very secure, you have a 9 digit username which is randomly given to you to prevent people guessing then you have a password which much be more than 6 digits & preferably a mix of letters & numbers. You then also have to enter your memorable information which very similar to a password therefore can be pretty much anything you want it to be as long as you can remember it! It can sometimes be irritating having to enter this infomation every single time not to mention time consuming if you're in a rush to check your account balance but it does make it that little bit more secure & give you the extra peace of mind that your finances are secure.
Once you have...

Advantages: great story
Disadvantages: none
...Calm Down Boris is a children`s book by the author Sam Lloyd who has written other books like You`re not so scary Sid and Wendy the wide-mouthed frog, my son recieved this book as a christmas present.
About the book
The book is a hardback book which is ideal for the little ones as they can turn the pages without tearing them. There is a puppet which runs through the book it will fit an adults hand just pop your hand in the puppet and dont forget to put on your monster voice!
The puppet is made out of a soft furry orange material , my son always says that Boris`s fur is very ticklish!
On the front cover you will see a lovely picture of Boris who is very furry, large and has very long nails!
The Story
Boris is going to the park and right at the start of the story the reader is encouraged to interact...

Fireman sam and his articulated friends
Advantages: children like these
Disadvantages: none
...Fireman Sam - Set of 5 Articulated Figures
We have a huge plastic box of plastic figures at work.
When I was playing with them last week I found myself playing with these Martin Yaffe fireman Sam figures. These figures are also sold under the born to play label.
I notice there is a set of 5 of these figures available including Sam. Tom, Penny, Nurse Flood and Norman. They all look identical to the tv characters dressed in their uniforms ready for action. The faces of these figures are more expressive have more character than Playmobil figures
These figures are all about 9cm tall a good size for a child to grip and move about . They all have movable arms legs and head. Their hands cup shaped will grasp and hold the steering wheel of the fire engine.
This set of figures is good very durable, will wash well in hot soapy...

Fireman Sam To The Rescue
Advantages: a bright board book featuring everyone's favourite fireman
Disadvantages: not very well written
...Fireman Sam has been a favourite in our household for many years, I can?t say that I am a huge fan of the new Fireman Sam, I?m an old fashioned girl at heart, but I suppose it?s what the kids like that matters! This book is based on one of the stories from the S4C TV series and contains pictures from the episode.
This Fireman Sam story is published by Egmont and is a board book measuring 15.8 x 15.8 x 1.6 cm, which I find a little big for the smallest of hands to cope with! It has a lovely bright red cover with a picture of Fireman Sam holding Bella the cat in his arms on the front. It has a RRP of £3.99.
?Fireman Sam to the Rescue? describes what happens when Bella?s beloved cat Rosa goes missing in a storm. James and Sarah find her with her collar caught on a fence and call the fire brigade who swiftly come to save the day.
I find...

Frankly darlings I`m Fabulous!
Advantages: Comes with a puppet
Disadvantages: none
...Last year my son recieved the You`re not so Scary Sid book for his birthday which he loves so when I was asked at christmas time to make my son a wish list I did a search to see what other books Sam Lloyd had written. I added this book and the Calm Down Boris book to my son`s wish list and he recieved both of them as presents.
My son loves stories especially at bedtime , we find it is a very good way for him to wind down , he likes us to read him the story and then he will try his hardest to tell us a story.
About the book
This book is a hardback book which has a puppet running through the book which will even fit an adults hand! Just pop your hand in the puppet and move it around and don`t forget to put on a funny voice! I love the fact that my son can turn the pages of this book and not tear them like some of his...

Fireman Sam to the Rescue!!!
Advantages: Kids love it
Disadvantages: None
...Fireman Sam is a very popular children's character. This DVD was bought for my 3 year old who has taken a liking to him and especially Jupiter, the fire engine.
The front cover of the DVD has a picture of Jupiter with Sam, Elvis and the Station Officer inside and above this is the title, there is also a small picture of the mountain rescue helicopter in the background. The back cover of the case is a nice bright yellow colour on the middle with the names of the 6 episodes and a bit about Fireman Sam. Around the edge of the back cover is a bright red border.
THE DVD
There are a total of 5 episodes on the DVD.
1 - Danger: Falling Sheep.
This episode starts with the Fire Chief talking to the crew and telling them that they are all going to have to be extra alert as it is the school holidays and Norman is bound to get into...

Open wide for Wendy
Advantages: Novel design featuring a built in hand puppet to tell the story, bright images
Disadvantages: Pages can get caught on the puppet
...'Wendy the Wide-Mouthed Frog' is a children's book written by Sam Lloyd, author of 'Calm Down, Boris' and 'You're Not So Scary, Sid' amongst others. What all of these books have in common is a hand-puppet built in to the centre of the book, which forms the basis of the story.
In this particular story, the star is Wendy a wide-mouthed frog. All that is required to bring Wendy to life is for the reader to pop their hand into the puppet and mimick Wendy's mouth movements. I haven't actually read any of the other books in the series so this was still quite a novelty for me to read and both my two year old and my six year old son thought so too.
I first came across this book when it was read at the 'Baby Bounce & Rhyme' group that I go to with my youngest son. The sessions always start off with a story and when Wendy was read out...
