Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO SAMANTHA

Disadvantages: second best to Sixth Sense

Everyone else in the room laughs at him because of the fact that he said he couldn't be hypnotised and he clearly was, he was one of the lucky 8% (as Lisa says). ...Now before you start reading this review please read the other review I have done and that review was on Demon - Samantha Lee, as it is the first book. Although in my opinion that story was by far better than this one although this one did capture you but not as good as the other one. It felt to me as if it was a quick story that came to mind and she just decided to make a second one and also it felt rushed, though then again maybe if I hadn't have read the first one maybe, just maybe I would have liked this story a bit better but I'll guess I'll never know whether I would have or not. Now before I begin, may I just say that I am a huge fan of Point Horror, as you will see due to other point horror books I have or will review, I have a few more to read, but I haven't got all of them though I wish I did. ...My recent quest for FREE DVD hire I visited and many DVD web sites that offered a free trial. Now call me tight (no that wasn?t an invite), but I like bargains and freebies and am not ashamed to say so. My quest took me to enough sites to hire DVDs for about four months so far (with plenty to come too). My latest free DVD site also happens to be the best I have tried for several reasons (see rest of op); the site in question is Blockbuster.co.uk. Other sites that I have had free rentals from and then cancelled have all been similar, two weeks free trial with two DVD?s per time ? which in effect gives you about four free DVD?s. With Blockbuster?s things are different slightly ? which add a great deal of benefit to us the customer. So, when I saw that BBC1 was airing a film made for television almost ten years ago, starring a younger Kim Cattral, I stayed up until 1am to watch it! When the credits began, it looked extremely cheap and second-rate. Considering it was a thriller, I was expecting some dark classical music to play with the credits, but in actual fact it was some silly jazz music. Thankfully, the rest of the film was better, and it was a pretty good thriller. It was one that felt it had more than one story, and you didn’t know where it was going to end.
