Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. This wish is duely granted and by the time he is completely out of reality Lisa even manages to put i safety pin through his hand without it bleeding, as previously fabled in the conversation. When he wakes from the hypnosis he is white as a ghost, out of breath and really thirsty and runs to grab a drink. Everyone else in the room laughs at him because of the fact that he said he couldn't be hypnotised and he clearly was, he was one of the lucky 8% (as Lisa says). As he is exhasted, he decides to call it a night and go back home with his wife. During the night he keeps getting visions while he is asleep, with blood and screaming. ...Now before you start reading this review please read the other review I have done and that review was on Demon - Samantha Lee, as it is the first book. Although in my opinion that story was by far better than this one although this one did capture you but not as good as the other one. It felt to me as if it was a quick story that came to mind and she just decided to make a second one and also it felt rushed, though then again maybe if I hadn't have read the first one maybe, just maybe I would have liked this story a bit better but I'll guess I'll never know whether I would have or not. Now before I begin, may I just say that I am a huge fan of Point Horror, as you will see due to other point horror books I have or will review, I have a few more to read, but I haven't got all of them though I wish I did. Now call me tight (no that wasn?t an invite), but I like bargains and freebies and am not ashamed to say so. My quest took me to enough sites to hire DVDs for about four months so far (with plenty to come too). My latest free DVD site also happens to be the best I have tried for several reasons (see rest of op); the site in question is Blockbuster.co.uk. Other sites that I have had free rentals from and then cancelled have all been similar, two weeks free trial with two DVD?s per time ? which in effect gives you about four free DVD?s. With Blockbuster?s things are different slightly ? which add a great deal of benefit to us the customer.
