Advantages: Very compact, fast speeds, excellent quality, Cheap

...-------------------- Laser printers use toners as opposed to catridges, its simply a powder based printing method as opposed to water based inks. Toner for the ML 1510 cost about £20 each and these will print well in excess of 5,000 pages each. You can also use the samsung toner saving application which supposedly reduces toner usage by up to 40%. But such modes really only be applicable to businesses, as im sure 5,000 print outs will be well enough for home use, you'll find yourself replacing the toner catridge little more than once a year. Another thing to consider with laser printers, is the drum unit. Drums need to be replaced every 20,000 or so pages, and cost more than the printer itself in some circumstances. I've never had to buy a new drum for the samsung yet however you can expect them to be in the £30 - £50 price range. ---------- Design...

Samsung ML 1510 Laser

Advantages: Small and easy to use
Disadvantages: Costs more to buy a new toner than the printer

...manufacturers are waiting for Vistas' release next year and as such would not work. The specs for the toner say it will print around 2000 pages before running out but the 1510 includes a Toner Saving Mode which helps to increase this a bit. Unlike an inkjet cartridge Tomer is actually a dry powder so it won't dry up if you don't use it within a year. It costs around £60 for a new toner which is more than the printer so it would seems more practical to get a whole new printer leading to the question - What do I do with it then? You can buy bottles of Toner refills from eBay for around £5 last time i looked, however Samsung along with many other manufacturers these days integrate the toner cartridge into the Drum unit which normally lasts 3 cartridge changes before failing so eventually you will have to change it whatever you decide. Snap Happy Samsung!

Advantages: Great camera at a great price.
Disadvantages: None at the price, you get a great item for what you pay!

Samsung's Neat Little Netbook

Advantages: Good performance, Good connectivity options, Good webcam, 160GB HDD, Upgradeable

Samsung but smaller

Advantages: Very compact and lightweight, excellent value for money, great design with brilliant screen
Disadvantages: No dvd drive but this is to save on weight and you can pick up an external one for reasonable

...Having previously had a laptop my wife recently decided to buy a new computer for herself as she felt she was not taking her laptop with her due to size and weight and so decided to opt to pick up the Samsung NC10 netbook. So you may have noticed that this is a netbook and be wondering what this exactly means...a netbook is a smaller, lighter weight laptop that is simply designed to handle internet browsing, e-mail and office software. The question I was asked by my wife before she picked this little gadget up was would this be able to play games? Advantages: Gentle
Disadvantages: None for me

...Boots expert sensitive toner I like the Boots expert range and find they suit my skin and cause no nasty reactions, so when this was on special offer at half price I naturally bought it. The Hypoallergenic toner has been specially formulated for sensitive skin and contains aloe vera to soothe the skin. It will apparently sweep away the last traces of make up so that skin is clean and ready for moisturising. It is frangrance and lanolin free and dermatologically tested so i am ready for something very gentle as promised. PRODUCT AND PACKAGING... At the time she needed a reliable printer with a prodigious rate of output for all the essays and literary critiques, not to mention the dissertation. Previous to that we had used an Epson inkjet, but this cost us a lot of money with replacement cartridges as attempting to refill them was a messy experience and none-too-successful at that. I can't remember the exact price we paid for the ML1510, but I recall it was on offer and was certainly less than £60. The bizarre thing is that replacement toner cartridges can cost as much, if not more than the device itself! In fact the main idea was to have a first hand experience of Samsung range of cameras and I thought it prudent to try the cheapest possible available in Samsung array of cameras. Samsung hits the netbook world for 6

Advantages: sturdy, reliable, quite nippy for a netbook, relativley cheap
Disadvantages: sound, no ssd option, still can't beat the aspire one

...With the netbook market already saturated to the point of that resembling a cat's fur when thrown into a bath (with almost as much fur flying between the competitors), it would seem that we don't need yet another standard netbook joining the ranks. However the samsung NC10 has proven to be a great addition to the market, and managed to undercut nearly all of their major competitors, even if it can't beat the acer aspire one. The NC10 is the usual netbook affair with regards to specs, it is fitted with the defacto standard intel atom, 160GB HDD and 1GB memory, this provides decent performance for all your web application needs and some circa 1999 gaming (no-one buys one for gaming anyway, but you've always got to at least try). Samsung NC10 Black netbook a lightweight and excellent netbook

Advantages: Great screen, excellent battery life,
Disadvantages: Poor speakers, personal headphones or additional speakers definitely help

...I bought my NC10 to replace my laptop which was just too heavy to be carrying to and from work everyday. I purchased my NC10 on a promotion weekend from a high street store beating online prices significantly. I was trying to avoid big bulky items to carry as I was on crutches at the time. Not recommended but straight out of box into my rucksack in the shop from which it was purchased. Didn't notice much weight difference in my bag at all. The Samsung NC10 has served me dilligently now being used more and more instead of my normal laptop as battery life is excellent. I use the NC10 round the house for coursework, work and even during my work lunch.
