Advantages: Picture quality on HDTV is impressive; high connectivity for the price; aesthetically flawless.

...I bought this Samsung t.v. in December 2007 from Argos for £249.99, a special offer of £50 below the R.R.P. at that time. Initial impressions were positive - high connectivity (PC, Scart, Component, HDMI, standard analogue), and it's fairly slim, fairly light, and very pretty to look at out of the box. The remote is solid, like the t.v., and covers all functions well, being a good job given that the t.v. is seemingly not supported by Sky yet (I would be interested to know if someone has got this working). The possible drawback is that some functions have smaller buttons than others (the teletext buttons most prominently afflicted); a slight sponginess elsewhere is to be noted. Snap Happy Samsung!

Advantages: Great camera at a great price.
Disadvantages: None at the price, you get a great item for what you pay!

Samsung's Neat Little Netbook

Samsung but smaller

Advantages: Very compact and lightweight, excellent value for money, great design with brilliant screen
Disadvantages: No dvd drive but this is to save on weight and you can pick up an external one for reasonable

...Having previously had a laptop my wife recently decided to buy a new computer for herself as she felt she was not taking her laptop with her due to size and weight and so decided to opt to pick up the Samsung NC10 netbook. So you may have noticed that this is a netbook and be wondering what this exactly means...a netbook is a smaller, lighter weight laptop that is simply designed to handle internet browsing, e-mail and office software. The question I was asked by my wife before she picked this little gadget up was would this be able to play games? In fact the main idea was to have a first hand experience of Samsung range of cameras and I thought it prudent to try the cheapest possible available in Samsung array of cameras. Well the experience is very close to disaster. Design: Probably its only positive point is its price, that probably is about all. If you look at the design it does look cheap, drab and dumb to say the least. In fact the ES55 looks just that better with its very quaggy aluminium casing, this one comes with a forlorn drab plastic wrapping which probably will make the least fashionables talk about fashion. Samsung hits the netbook world for 6

Advantages: sturdy, reliable, quite nippy for a netbook, relativley cheap
Disadvantages: sound, no ssd option, still can't beat the aspire one

...With the netbook market already saturated to the point of that resembling a cat's fur when thrown into a bath (with almost as much fur flying between the competitors), it would seem that we don't need yet another standard netbook joining the ranks. Samsung NC10 Black netbook a lightweight and excellent netbook

Advantages: Great screen, excellent battery life,
Disadvantages: Poor speakers, personal headphones or additional speakers definitely help

...I bought my NC10 to replace my laptop which was just too heavy to be carrying to and from work everyday. I purchased my NC10 on a promotion weekend from a high street store beating online prices significantly. I was trying to avoid big bulky items to carry as I was on crutches at the time. Not recommended but straight out of box into my rucksack in the shop from which it was purchased. Didn't notice much weight difference in my bag at all. The Samsung NC10 has served me dilligently now being used more and more instead of my normal laptop as battery life is excellent. I use the NC10 round the house for coursework, work and even during my work lunch. The screen is bright and very easy to read, I primarily use the NC10 at home for surfing the net to shop and for music in the background. I have an extensive playlist on Spotify...

...I recieved this netbook for christmas and all i can say is 'wow'! My background with computers is vast having built many and installed multiple operating systems on each, however i have never owned a laptop. Therefore i was a little dubious about some of the things such as keyboard size, processing power and battery life. I was looking for a laptop which is very small in physical size while packing a punch so it could still carry out multiple tasks. Buying a full size (15.4") laptop seemed a bit pointlesss as i have two tower pc's which are my main machines, so this was just to be about casual surfing/ reading emails/ browsing while on the move.
