the e250
Review of Samsung SGH E250 by
betterthenever
Advantages: slim good looking filled with features
Disadvantages: not man
...The samsung E250 is a good phone
The price has fallen when i bought it it was £55 and now it is 39.99 which annoys me quite a lot
the features are good it contains a vga camera , bluethooth , video camera, mp3,micro sd slot and a bright coloured screen
in its price range under £50 it is the best phone out there it has stylish looks and is very slim . The memory is quite limited so if you listen t music i recommend you get a 1 gb memory card which is about £15
the softwareis not included in the box so yiu might have to buy it i recomend downloading it from the internet
Positives
it is easy to use has loads of features .
negatives not the best camera but still useable and you cant really get better for its price .
It is a good phone and i recommend you buy it...

Another great Seagate Drive
Review of Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250 GB by
pdthegreat
Advantages: Price
Disadvantages: Noise
...Seagate have always made great hard drives and this is no excepetion it reads and writes fast.
This drive is one in a new range of seagate drives that use perpendicular recording technology, meaning more space per platter.
There is only one bad point to this drive and that is the noise you can here it read this may not be a problem for some but compared to the samsung hard drive I also have in my pc, the seagate makes the most noise (you cant hear the samsung).
Good points for this drive include the price its pritty cheap for the price and amount of storage you get, being a seagate you get a nice long 5 year guarantee.
Technical specs
- Capacity: 250 GB
- Speed: 7200 rpm
- Interface: SATA-II
- Cache: 16MB
- 5 year manufacturer''s warranty
To conclude this is an excellent hard drive as expected from such a great manufacture...

Review of Panasonic DMREH50 by
nickhow100
Advantages: picture,sound,menu's,dvd menu's,memory card slot
Disadvantages: no hdmi socket
...ive owned this product for a number of years now and its great
the only things lacking in my opinion are
1. hdmi output
2. even bigger hard drive ((mine now has))
ive upgarded my hard drive for a samsung 250gb one and so now its even better , my new samsung dvd recorder is now gone to the junk room minus its 250 gb hd,
the menu syatem and burning screens are much better on panasonics than samsungs!!
most dvd's ive used with this product have worked with exception to a few !
picture quality is good and great using component out
sound quality is also good and better via the optical out !!
if your looking for a dvd recorder that does the job well and that you will be pleased with then look no furrther unless you want hdmi output upscalling or a bigger hard drivem but then again you can always upgrade the hdd...

A fast, quiet hard drive
Review of Samsung SpinPoint S250 HD250HJ 250 GB by
fatnickccash
Advantages: Fast, quiet, cheap
Disadvantages: Can get better value with bigger HDDs, may be too small for some
...The Samsung Spinpoint has, for the past year or so, been the hard drive of choice for those looking for good value. I needed a new hard drive recently, and I had no reservations whatsoever about getting this.
When it arrived, I installed it and was immediately impressed at how much quicker my computer felt to use. Perhaps this was mainly due to the reinstallation of Windows, but nevertheless the hard drive was performing better than my previous one (a Western Digital model), and it was quieter too. The SATA II interface allows for fast data transfer, and I could copy files about my series of folders with great speed. This model is only 250GB, and so is inevitably not quite as good value as the 500GB model (in terms of £/GB, where it sits at about £0.17/GB compared to £0.12/GB), but I cannot see myself using any more than what is provided...

The BEST drive for TiVo or Sky+ upgrades
Review of Samsung SpinPoint V120CE HA250JC 250 GB by
tivoheaven
Advantages: Low noise, very cool running, low vibration, reliability
Disadvantages: not the biggest or cheapest drive you can buy
...when "quiet" mode is enabled with Samsung's HUTIL utility, so you don't hear the heads clattering about during quiet moments in a movie or when your TV is switched off.
Reliability is superb. In two years selling these preconfigured for TiVo upgrades, the returns rate has been less than 1% - much lower than any other drive we have sold. Most drives wear out after a year or so of the constant thrashing they get in a TiVo, but these just seem to go on and on...
In summary then this is definitely the BEST drive, bar none, for upgrading a TiVo or Sky+. The capacity at 250gb is more than enough for most people, and the other benefits easily outweight the slightly higher price now commanded by this almost legendary performer.
For TiVo and Sky+ upgrades, you can't go wrong with this!...

Spinning a Success...
Review of Samsung SpinPoint P120 SP2504C 250 GB by
Radical-Machine
Advantages: Very Quiet, Long-Lasting
Disadvantages: None!
...Here we are, a superb hard disk. Quiet, durable and fast. With a 7200rpm spin speed and its SATA interface, this drive is the perfect desktop hard disk.
I've now installed two of these in a RAID stripe, and they've always been fast and reliable.
However, that's all good and dandy and stuff, but many, many hard disks last a very long time, serving their computer impeccably year after year. What should make this one different?
At the end of the day, it's a manufacturer's average performance that allows you to spot a quality hard disk. For instance, I've purchased 4 Maxtor hard disks in my time, and 3 of them have failed all within the first year of operation. On the other hand, I've purchased 5 Samsung SpinPoint drives and they're all still going. The first was a 120GB ATA-133 jobby, which was bought 2 years ago. This remains reliable...

Amazing sound Quality in small Device
Review of Samsung YP-T8Z 1 GB by
BloodySpike
Advantages: Very Sexy and Easy to use with good sound quality.
Disadvantages: Too light because you forget you have it.
...This is a very stylish and compact little MP3 Device. Samsung always seem to be able to produce a good product at a reasonable price, and here we have no exception. I Bought mine for £139. Worth Every Penny. The sound Quality is very good and comes with some good quality head phones.
It has a built in 1GB memory which is enough for 250 songs. Great for on the go all the time and especially good when on a journey. Its not just an Mp3 it also plays short videos in Mpeg4 and also photo album. All viewable on a 1.8 inch screen.
Other features include a build in FM radio, which seems to get a good reception. I do use this some times but mainly stick to using the songs downloaded.
Songs can easily be downloaded by the computer. The MP3 comes complete with a USB 2 Lead, so MP3 files on your computer can be downloaded straight to the device...

Speedy Samsung
Review of Samsung SpinPoint Hard drive 10.2 GB by
Hellzone
Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: nothing
...After 4 or 5 years of using Seagate and western digital I got a bit fed up of self corruption from Seagate and slow relay times from Western digital, so I turned to Samsung.
The very first Samsung hard-drive I purchased was their 4gb IDE series and how I was amazed. Two years down the line and it still works perfectly, with great speeds.
Now that ive bought myself one of their 20gb series I am even more amazed.
The amount this hard-drive can hold and without flaw is astonishing to say the least, it’s a serious Seagate and Western digital beater.
In my opinion you cannot get better than Samsung they rule the hard-drive industry hands down, ive done countless reformats, repartitions everything on both Samsungs and not once has either died on me like the unforgotten Seagate’s which I previously had and neither has it slowed...

DiamondMax? I'm afraid not.
Review of Maxtor DiamondMax 10 250 GB by
Radical-Machine
Advantages: Very Cheap, Very Quiet
Disadvantages: Poorly Made, Burn Out Easily
...In my first foray into PC building 5 years ago, I spent a great deal of time researching components and learning to build a system competently and properly. I decided upon a Maxtor Hard Drive, which was a 40Gb DiamondMax model, mainly for it's price (around £20 cheaper than similar models by Samsung, Hitatchi, Seagate, etc). This was a poor decision.
Not 4 months after purchase the hard drive failed. A burn out on the IDE controller board on the underside of the disk, blew up the electronics. I was frustrated, but considered myself unlucky at the loss of much of my data. Undeterred, I sent the hard disk back to my retailer and received a new one on warranty. Installed and ready to go, I was happy I'd managed to sort it all out. However, 2 months later the hard-drive failed, this time the motor had burnt out. Right.
I pressed my...
