Having played around with it for a few hours, I can now see what all the fuss is about as this item is so addictive. The touch comes in 3 guises, namely 8Gb, 16Gb and 32Gb versions. These are all identical apart from, obviously the storage capacity. --In the box-- I must admit that then the box came, I thought half the order had been missed as it is minute! THE 8GB MUSIC PLAYER.

Advantages: LARGE MEMORY, SOUND OUTPUT AND LONG BATTERY LIFE.
Disadvantages: : FRAGILE IN LOOKS.

Advantages: Stylish, easy to use, large storage, good features, wi-fi

The itouch offers the users with an array of different features I never thought could be possible for a MP3/4 player. ...One things for sure Ipods are getting more popular by the day as more features and different designs are being introduced to these almost everyday necessities. I purchased the 8gb version 3 months or so back and ive been really please with it. It stands out from the rest as it has a large screen for viewing videos and photo's, but not only that it has the built in touch sensitive display which is very easy to use and im sure very popular. It has also introduced the new wii-fi so that you can connect to a wireless connection whether it be from the comfort of your home or in a coffee shop etc. when you go to i-tunes ur music and files can be transferred to your ipod within seconds though videos take a bit longer. All in all id say this product is worth investing in if you have a spare £180....

Ipod Touch 8gb must buy

Advantages: looks great, great battery life, huge memory for your favorite tracks
Disadvantages: 8gb model is not realy big enough to store movies

...Ive had the ipod touch 8gb since christmas and i got it for £200 and i think that it was worth every penny but now the price has dropped slightly to £179.99 which makes this product even better ive had 3 ipods before (nano 1st,2nd and shuffle) and this is the best by far!!! it has a great 3.5" touch screen and the 8gb internal memory is more than enough to store your favorite music and a few music videos or a couple of movies but if you want a mp3 player to watch movies the ipod touch is the product for you but i would go for the 16gb model as 8gb realy isnt big enough for movies and your favorite music. i would highly reccomend this product to anyone who is lookin for a new mp3/mp4 player . i think this ipod is so good that what ever mp3 you own im sure you would realy enjoy the ipod touches features and great look. and the battery life...

LOOK & DESIGN I love the look of the iPod touch. The smooth graphics and colours blend to make an easy-on-the-eye contraption. Pictures on Safari (the web browser, also used on most Macs) are perfect, even when zoomed in. Pages on both the home page and on Safari are layed out perfectly. RANGE OF FEATURES The range of different apps and features is unbelievable - there are millions! Unfortunately I only get the free ones, I don't pay for them... but, hey!, the free ones are still really fun! iPod Nano 8GB Pink

It also had 8GB, enough for all my music, and was small enough to fit into my pocket on the plane journeys I take. ---Shape--- The shape of this is iPod is lovely a sleek and small square shape with a pink front and a silver back. It is thin and therefore easy to handle, though when I got it first I did think there was a possibility of it being snapped but I have now had it for a year and have not snapped it yet. The only problem with the silver back is the fact it gets easily scratched, mine is covered in scratches and most of the time I do have it in a case. ...After a bike accident in which smashed my old ipod nano 1G and after 3 days in hospital without it to listen to i bought a IPOD NANO 3G Black 8GB, it i great the sound quality is good with new headphones however the ipod earphones are not great and it has a equalizer to match the sort of music you play, and the amount to choose from is huge, the screen is incredibley bright and clear and can be adjusted and when playing video the quality was way better than my digital TV. 8GB is plenty of room for movies and music as the videos are compressed for ipod compatibility. The itunes software does not allow you to do this however free programs are available that do.
