...I bought this camera in ASDA at the incredible price of £75 in a gorgeous chrome silver colour (pictured). I am probably one of the most indecisive shoppers around, so when it came to buying a digital camera, I was thoroughly confused by the choice and newly released technology, meaning every week a new camera with more mega pixels and better zoom and a toaster built in was released! Review of Samsung ES55

Samsung an average camcorder

Advantages: Compact, convienient and fantastic picture quality
Disadvantages: Unreliable and poor customer service.

...Well it looks very nice and as with all Samsung products it seems to list a heap of fancy features that are on the leading edge of technology. Reliability: I have had this camcorder for almost 6 months and am sorry to say that it has just been sent for repair for the second time due to a manufacturing fault (The LCD screen died). So I am going to say not very reliable at all but this is to be expected with leading edge technology I guess. Ease of use: At first not very. I am quite good generally with electronics but found this confusing and had to sit and read through the manual before I could use this. Sound Quality: 7/10 not fantastic but acceptable if you are a reasonable distance from the camera. Features: Many fancy ones - most of which I probably wont use and missing some of the basic ones that I would look for in a camcorder...

Review of Samsung VP MX20

The greatest value for money camcorder

Advantages: Looks, price, features, ease of use and zoom.

...It had taken me weeks before i had found a suitable low budget camera. Lucky for me i came across this wonderful piece. I must say that if there is anyone out there looking for a basic camera and doesnt want anything too pricey or proffesional, i would definatly recomend this camcorder as it does the job well and easily. The samsung f30 records nicely and also records great sounds. Another good feature is that the camcorder is very small and therefore very portable. I could take this anywhere with out it giving me trouble. The zoom is also fantastic along with its features including a time-lapse mode which is a lot of fun. Also it comes with a cable that lets you hook it up to the tv to view your footage which is very neat. All these features surely makes this camera a must buy for the price but the looks of this camera sums...

Samsung's Neat Little Netbook

Advantages: Good performance, Good connectivity options, Good webcam, 160GB HDD, Upgradeable

Samsung but smaller

Advantages: Very compact and lightweight, excellent value for money, great design with brilliant screen
Disadvantages: No dvd drive but this is to save on weight and you can pick up an external one for reasonable

...Having previously had a laptop my wife recently decided to buy a new computer for herself as she felt she was not taking her laptop with her due to size and weight and so decided to opt to pick up the Samsung NC10 netbook. So you may have noticed that this is a netbook and be wondering what this exactly means...a netbook is a smaller, lighter weight laptop that is simply designed to handle internet browsing, e-mail and office software. In fact the main idea was to have a first hand experience of Samsung range of cameras and I thought it prudent to try the cheapest possible available in Samsung array of cameras. If you look at the design it does look cheap, drab and dumb to say the least. Samsung VPW63 / 8MM camcorder

Disadvantages: no direct way of conecting to a computer for editing

...The main advantage about this camcorder is that these days you can find it for less than £200. This is great if you just want to make quick and easy home videos e.g. weddings or a birthday. It has got many pre-programmed special effects which can be quite good for livening up those home movies. I managed to take it out in winter weather with my friends and make a pretty funny half an hours muck about look quite professional. The battery life on the lithium ion battery that comes with it can last more than 5 hours of filming.
