...I have owned my Samsung NV3 for well over a year now, and it still manages to impress me every time I use it. As a camera, it is amazingly user friendly, packs a bunch of great features, is highly reliable, looks superb, and is extremely good value. Oh, and its not bad at taking pictues either. In fact, the pictures are outstanding. The NV3 finds the perfect balance feature wise; it won't overwhelm, but has plenty of depth with regards to options. For those who know how, there is plently to adjust to your liking, but you can also take a pre-set option, which, thanks to the 'Scene' mode, there are many of, for every occasion. Samsung NV11

Advantages: 10.1 million pixels, numerous zooms, automatic shake reduction
Disadvantages: touch buttons activate when aiming to take a picture

...I was recently looking to buy a new digital camera and saw the samsung NV11. It is a sleek black camera which looks different from the usual stainless steel slimline cameras I had looked at. It has 10.1 million pixels and many features to help take great pictures such as the automatic shake reduction. When I received it, I was faced with a big user manual on the software disc provided. However, I started taking pictures on the automatic mode and downloaded them on my computer. I was amazed at the picture quality especially when blowing them up. I will leave the manual for when I want to do something more with my pictures. I was surprised at the ease of use for standard picture taking and the incredible quality but I would recommend using the software provided as some of the pictures can look blurry when displayed on other picture...

...The camera itself is actually very good considering some of the turkeys Samsung has produced. Picture quality is quite good as is the interface, features, build quality and its excellent looks. A minor complaint is the lack of a viewfinder. The central and deal-breaking problem however is the software. Unlike older Samsung cameras where one's computer automatically recognised the camera when you just plugged in the USB cable, the NV8 has some very serious driver/software issues, which is why you should test each unit in-store before purchase. The long and the short of it is that all the computers (5) I tried to connect the camera to will not under any circumstance recognise it no matter what you do. You thus cannot download pictures from it at all the USB route. I suspect these problems are a result of the "recharge via the USB...

So I thought it about time I invested in a digital camera with which I could see the quality of the pictures before I actually got them printed. As you can see in the picture up top, it is black and silver in colour, I don't like the all-silver ones.
