...About a year and a half ago, just before I embarked on a holiday to Spain, I decided to treat myself to a brand new, good quality camera. The one I purchased is infact, all of the above. Although there are many other digital cameras with more Megapixels, bigger zooming capabilities, this camera is still regularly used and I have no intention of purchasing another anytime soon. I would feel lost without my Samsung S600

Advantages: Pocket size, light in weight, simple to use. Pause button when recording movie files
Disadvantages: LCD screen is difficult to see in sunlight - but then this is usually the case on other cameras

...I have used my Samsung S600 camera for a couple of years now and have been very happy with its performance and the results. I tend to leave it set on Auto most of the time, so it's ready to use anytime for anything. It has a very quick start up, so you won't miss photo opportunities. When I want to be more creative, I use the other modes and functions, of which there are plenty for any keen amateur photographer like myself. I'm personally not interested in all the new technology and features you'd probably hardly every use on other more expensive cameras available on the market. It's a good camera for general use, but don't expect extraordinary things from it. An advantage is that you are able to do videos with sound , but a big disadvantage that I discovered is that when you make a video the sound stops while you are zooming.
