...I bought this camera in ASDA at the incredible price of £75 in a gorgeous chrome silver colour (pictured). I am probably one of the most indecisive shoppers around, so when it came to buying a digital camera, I was thoroughly confused by the choice and newly released technology, meaning every week a new camera with more mega pixels and better zoom and a toaster built in was released! This certainly does not making chosing easy! Well, thanks to the advice of the very helpful assistant in ASDA, I was able to finally decide on the Samsung ES55 and have no regrets! Samsung an average camcorder

Advantages: Compact, convienient and fantastic picture quality
Disadvantages: Unreliable and poor customer service.

...Well it looks very nice and as with all Samsung products it seems to list a heap of fancy features that are on the leading edge of technology. Reliability: I have had this camcorder for almost 6 months and am sorry to say that it has just been sent for repair for the second time due to a manufacturing fault (The LCD screen died). So I am going to say not very reliable at all but this is to be expected with leading edge technology I guess. Ease of use: At first not very. I am quite good generally with electronics but found this confusing and had to sit and read through the manual before I could use this. Sound Quality: 7/10 not fantastic but acceptable if you are a reasonable distance from the camera. Features: Many fancy ones - most of which I probably wont use and missing some of the basic ones that I would look for in a camcorder...

Samsung VP-D361 digital camcorder

Advantages: it is easy to use for the beginner if you want to film all your cherished moments.
Disadvantages: the battery life is short when using the lcd screen.

...as well as film which i like. Saves you having to take 2 camers out with you. It comes with a lithium battery, a power pack, ac cord, multi cable and instruction booklet, software cd, usb cable, lense cover. I just wish that it came with a camera case and a film. We bought a pack of 5 films which cost me £20 and I bought a cheap camera case which was £1 in Asda. We did purchase a further battery as this does lose charge fairly quick when using the lcd screen. I would recommend this camera to anyone as it is very easy to use as the picture quality is just as good indoors as outdoors....

Samsung U600 - poor battery life

...I have mixed thoughts over this phone, I have had mine for nearly 18 months now and won't be having another one. It has a lot of excellent features on the phone but has some glitches. The first thing I noticed is that the battery life was really poor, I had to charge mine up every day and half to two days, which would be fine if I had been using it a bit, but I hadn't. With other phones I have had I used to be able to get three days of life out of it. I have found myself going away for a weekend and having my phone die on me at some point. The camera is also one of the difficulties with the phone, it does produce great pictures but it takes three to four seconds to actually take the photo, which means sometimes missing the moment you are trying to catch. I have also had issues with the touch sensitive buttons on the screen...

Samsung U600 Fairly Good Phone, Poor Battery Time.

Advantages: Very stylish, simple to understand menu, Great camera, Good value for money.
Disadvantages: Poor battery life, weak screen, easy to catch touch buttons.

...I bought this phone about a year ago and its been going fairly good, had a few problems along the way, the screen has cracked twice now but i have been able to replace them i feel the screen is quite weak and a small bang can crack it all the way through to the lcd. I also feel that the Battery life is very poor, such as if i'm texting during the day it only lasts about 7-8 hours and even if i dont use it i have to charge it up every night or it will be dead by dinner time the next day...i think this is because of the touch buttons which i also found a bit difficult to get use to, even now its easy to accidently ring someone like the other day i was using the light as a torch and rang someone at 5.30am...ooops... :)......and also if you are nearly to the end of a long text message its very fustrating when you catch the cancel button...

The camera offers the customer a face recognition device which is really cool I think for a camera which means that there will be less blurry pictures, and it can detect where your faces are so not to make the picture distorted in anyway. The camera has an inbuilt smart scene recognition, which means that you can create the perfect scene for your pictures before, and if you are not happy with the picture after it has been taken you can change it then also. This feature to the camera was one of my favorites because i needed to make my pictures look attractive for my reviews and I could do that with this camera. So this feature came in very handy on the device! As far as I know the camera only comes in a sliver, pink and a black colour, but both are very smart. The screen is an LCD screen making the shots you take...
