Samsung DVD R136
Advantages: None - won't accept ANY brand of DVD RW so totally useless
Disadvantages: See above
...DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP!!! My advice would be if you have or been given one for Xmas - take it the hell back and get a refund or exchange it for a NON Samsung DVD recorder. Samsung should be prosecuted for selling what is obviously a faulty machine! Plenty of reviews online ALL saying the same thing - it will NOT accept DVD-RW. So, not fit for purpose. Samsung will probably blame the consumer, as always. Well, FOUR brands of HIGH QUALITY BRAND NAMES, cleaning the lensas suggested on some sites DOES NOT WORK! Seriously, you will regret the day you bought one of these pieces of crap! I've spent more money on finding out WHICH brand plays - as the manual is utterly useless when it says 'some brands may not work' but DOESN'T tell you which do! HELLO, are there ANY people with brain cells employed at this company???! No, poor...

Snap Happy Samsung!
Advantages: Great camera at a great price.
Disadvantages: None at the price, you get a great item for what you pay!
...I bought this camera in ASDA at the incredible price of £75 in a gorgeous chrome silver colour (pictured). I am probably one of the most indecisive shoppers around, so when it came to buying a digital camera, I was thoroughly confused by the choice and newly released technology, meaning every week a new camera with more mega pixels and better zoom and a toaster built in was released! This certainly does not making chosing easy!
Well, thanks to the advice of the very helpful assistant in ASDA, I was able to finally decide on the Samsung ES55 and have no regrets! Ok, so how do you chose the right camera for you? It's all about accepting there is SO much variety but making sure you know what you want, that way you can really trim down the choice. Also, pick a reliable brand and as I have been informed, Samsung are one of the best. I had...

Samsung but smaller
Advantages: Very compact and lightweight, excellent value for money, great design with brilliant screen
Disadvantages: No dvd drive but this is to save on weight and you can pick up an external one for reasonable
...Having previously had a laptop my wife recently decided to buy a new computer for herself as she felt she was not taking her laptop with her due to size and weight and so decided to opt to pick up the Samsung NC10 netbook. So you may have noticed that this is a netbook and be wondering what this exactly means...a netbook is a smaller, lighter weight laptop that is simply designed to handle internet browsing, e-mail and office software. The question I was asked by my wife before she picked this little gadget up was would this be able to play games? The answer is yes but of a limited variety as this is not designed with the same level of specs in as a normal pc or laptop (you would also need to purchase a cd or dvd drive for if you are looking at playing games that use a cd).
Now down to the actual netbook itself...the Samsung is...

Samsung YP-U2R 2GB
Advantages: Samsung, lot of space, lasts heavy use.
Disadvantages: It can only charge through USB.
...----------Writers Notice---------
The facts stated are the facts as I believe them to be, but I do not claim they are the undenyable truth. Opinions expressed are mine, and I do not claim anybody else shares these opinions with me.
------ Intro -----
The product is by Samsung, which already kind of stands for awesome, maybe it is just me, but every product I have had from Samsung was great and longlasting, with usually the options you want on that product.
This is a 2GB ( 1964MB? ) MP3 player, even though it supports alot of other audiofiles. It will not play videos or display pictures, its pure music.
---- Functions -----
The obvious ones first:
Hold - Unless you slide it from hold again no button will respond.
Next - Play next track ( does not work in 'hold' )
Prev - Play previous track ( also won't work while on 'hold...

Samsung LE23R86BD
Advantages: Great Quality, PIP, PC conection
Disadvantages: NO PAP
...I have used this TV before (uncle owns one) and I think that it is a great TV, it has many features including PIP (which can be moved to any corner of the screen and adjusted in size, PIP will be explained further on in the review). And it has a beautiful design with White finish and curved edges and it has a nice L.E.D light in the bottom (under the screen) which indicated power to the TV. Of course this TV is HD Ready and has HDMI ports (3). And it also has built in freeview which is a bonus when purchasing a new TV.
PIP is a feature which most new TV?s include, this is the feature to see two sources at once one main source and a secondary source. For example if you would like to watch a movie while chatting on your computer, you can have your computer as your main picture (large area) and you DVD player as your second picture...

Samsung NT-R70 review by Nute
Advantages: Gloss LCD, Keyboard, Touchpad, CPU Speed, GPU Power
Disadvantages: LCD Resoltion,no S-Video,no PCI-E slot
...I've had this machine for about 3 months now.
Starting with the bad: There's alot of sticky keying at times, that causes you to tap the key firmly before it clicks into place to drop down to form a key press..it might be because the machine is still brand new, Since the two touchpad buttons had some play between the actual plastic and (switch)button, but later recessed perfectly. There's also not s-video out or pci-e card slot, which is slightly dissapointig.A HUGE word of caution, do not open the lid at it's centre...the plastic will start to warp outwards leaving the lcd area exposed! also, do not press firmly on the back part of the lcd lid, the lcd is easily affected and you'll notice colour spillage. Im running vista ultimate 64bit, and the drivers from samsung update centre for the shortcut keys on the machine is only for 32bit...

Samsung DVD-V6800
Advantages: Few extra features.
Disadvantages: Not enough extra features.
...Remember when a DVD player was just something you shoved a disk in, and it played it (how boring's that?). To compete with the ever expanding market, DVD players are having to multitask more and more. This one seems to be having a go at multitasking but it's as if it's heart isn't really in it.
Look and Design
Basic is the word. A traditional black look more resembling a video player than a DVD player with nothing flashy or shiny to entertain the easily amused. It's a bit on the bulky side, just like Gordon Brown, (Don't ask me where that joke came from, I have no idea). But then the extra bulk is necessary, unlike Gordon Brown's, in order to incorporate the VHS player.
Function
We'll it works like any other DVD player, you put a disk in and it plays it. The picture is pretty good by the way. But it...

Samsung LE23 R 71
Advantages: Great picture quality, stylish
Disadvantages: not the best sound
...I bought my samsung 6 months ago around the time it was released. It was a very good investment. I was primarily looking for a High-Definition TV to play Xbox 360 games on. I chose Samsung as the xbox 360 was designed using Samsung TV's and all the demo pods use them. So I thought, this must be good for games and it was, there is even a game mode, which when you press a button adjusts the screen to suit gaming.
Picture:
The Samsung is fully HD ready so you can start watching HD content straight out of the box, no extra things to buy. The picture quality is superb, in my opinion, especially when watching DVD's, although I can't say to mutch about terestrial as I get an awful signal where I live. It runs at a native reolution of 1366 x 768, which means there are 1,366 horizntal lines and 768 vertical lines. This resolution is perfect...
