The choice was relatively limited but amongst the usual tat I noticed something that I quite liked. It was a Samsung E250. I had previously had the D500, about eighteen months ago, so I knew they were reliable, the menus were easy to use...

Samsung CLP 300 - not worth buying

Advantages: Small laser printer
Disadvantages: Unreliable

...I always had and ink jet printer. But at work I used laser printers and I loved them. Unfortunately they have been far too big for home use. I am not sure why but I always have been convinced that a laser printer is somehow better- the speed, the quality, just everything. How wrong I was!!! A couple of months ago I saw the Samsung CLP-300 on a website and it looked brilliant. Well, everything looks brilliant if someone wants to sell it. Anyhow, for me it looked good enough. But I did not want to pay £150 for a new printer. So, I had a look in ebay. And there it was my Samsung CLP-300 for £100. Well, I bid on and got it for £112 in the end. The CLP-300 claims to be the world's smallest and lightest colour laser printer. Well, at least at that time. It?s measurements are 390 x 344 x 265 mm, which is pretty small for a laser...

...The Samsung E250 is a bit of a let down to my other phone which broke and I have had a lot of phones but the reasons why it is a good phone are shown below along with a few bad points but every phone has bad points this one has an advantage to other phones. The fact that it is a slide phone mean that it is helpful for calls all you have to do is just have slide it up and the call is answered. The phone has good reception, which is good because the majority of phones have poor reception. If you want a phone the better the reception the better the phone actually is. The phones colour is great and has some depth to it. I have owned many phones and this one is the best by far for colour. Advantages: loads of features, small, light to carry around, sleek, battery life, good sound.
Disadvantages: unwanted pictures

The external display on the phone is only 80 x 64 pixels, which is pretty small, through the display you can view the clock which is illuminated, the battery life and also the signal which are also illuminated. The phone is in 2 different colours with mine being lavender pink its as dark pink stripe down the centre of the phone, with the Samsung label going across the bottom of the phone. On the left hand side of the phone there is a little button, which is for the camera, you don't have to go into the phone to access this, but the only problem of this is when you have it in your pocket or in your handbag it will nudge the button and takes pictures. ...Well, having seen this about on t'internet for a while, when my O2 contract was up for renewal last week, this was the one I had to have ! Having once been a dedicated "Nokia only" man, my mind is definitely opening having recently owned and used a Samsung E710 & D500 so I was certainly optomistic about this one. It arrived on Friday afternoon in a lovely box containing the following items: - SGH-P300 phone itself - Leather flip case / additional battery - Stereo hands free headset - Wall power charger - USB connnector cable - User manual - Software CD The phone is absolutely tiny, the same size as a credit card at just 86mm x 54mm and only a little bit thicker at 8.9 mm. Being this thin means, I guess, that carrying it around in my back pocket (oh so tempting) is really not a good idea just in case I sit down and snap...

Decent Samsung E250

Advantages: Bluetooth, Practical, External memory, MP3 capable, Excellent multimedia services.
Disadvantages: Fragile, Shortlife battery, Not 3G capable, complicated menu.

...The Samsung E250 is a great cell phone despite its mentionable flaws and critical points with an overall rating that will suit the need of the mass community and will reach your expectations. First of all, SME250 is based GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 terminal, a 2G (EDGE, so it's a 2.75G ) unfortunately not a 3G, so you can't make video conference phone call. But, that's a not big loss comparing the big range of features. The clamshell (comes in different colors, black, silver, pink) design is very slick and lovable. A dimension of 99.5 x 49.5 x 14.1 mm, weighing 80g makes the phone very light (you won't feel in your pocket or purse (for the ladies ;)) and very fragile piece of equipment as well. I've heard several complaints about the design regarding the keypad and the screen display, possibility getting damage in short term of usage...

...The Samsung E900 is a very stylish looking phone, it measures 93x45x16.5 mm, so it is very slim and lightweight, and it is barely noticeable in your pocket. I have mine in black but it also comes in pink, gold and silver I believe. The user interface is intuitive and the menu structure is easily navigated.
