...I brought my set of tannoys 15 months ago and, at the time,they cost £300.Now,with a little searching around,they can be obtained for under £200. What you get in the box is five satellite speakers(two front,two rear and a centre speaker) plus a seperate powered subwoofer. You also get wall mounted supports for the two front and two rear speakers and all the speaker cables(i changed the cables to 79 stand q.e.d. speaker cable to improve the sound). Setting up the system is relatively easy:you just need an electric drill for the the wall mounted stands and once fitted,you just connect the cables to your home cinema amp. Easy!! Once you have connected everything,it is time to try out the system. My first reaction and i am sure yours will be the same was one of complete disbelief!! Samsung HT-Q20 Home Cinema System

I bought the Samsung HT-Q20 nearly 2 years ago now, for around £160 at the time, which felt like money well spent, and whilst the system has been very good in the main, it's certainly by no means faultless. Home cinema disappointment

Advantages: Ease of controls, smart black speakers and player with blue light, good quality sound.
Disadvantages: Home cinema deliverance limited unless using a DVD.

...Having finally said goodbye to an old DVD player and separate CD and radio player, we decided to opt for the home cinema system from Samsung. Having already recently purchased a Samsung TV which we were very pleased with the value for money of the Samsung Home Cinema TZ215 tempted us to carry on with the brand. I hate to admit that in my opinion I am disappointed in the 'home cinema' aspect in that I expected more and now having read the other reviews wonder if I actually connected it up properly, but we have checked everything and all seems ok. Firstly, with four tall speakers dotted correctly around the room and set up as per the instruction manual for distance etc, I was disappointed in that the four all do not work at the same time. ...I have done quite well recently with good deals from mates and this purchase has to be one of my best, it really has transformed my home cinema experience. From watching films on DVD to daily TV through my Freeview box it has enriched the whole feeling while watching and listening to my TV. One of my mates from the football team I play for works at COMET and he knew I was on the look out for an all in one DVD player and surround system, so when this model came back as a return he gave me a ring. One of the surround speakers has a scratch on the side so it had been returned, and after my mate having a chat with his manager we agreed on a price of £85. Extremely happy ? .... I was looking for a good quality, not to expensive home cinema system and found this one. Saw LG HT353SD in Sainsbury's for just £79.99 and was not sure. I checked all the other prices online and details on manufacturer's website. Same day decided to go for it and bought it next day. I have it over one week now and am totally satisfied. It does exactly everything what should and does it great. This home theatre system is very nice looking and nicely designed. Stylish I would say as each speakers surface reflects.
