Samsung LE32R86BD
Review of Samsung LE32R86BD by
dharma.roy
Advantages: Very cheap for 32" hdtv
Disadvantages: 720i tv not full hd
...To start with the design is very stylish as is all the samsung models.
But what really catches my eyes is the bring silver frame and it just looks slick.
The price is very cheap for a 32" hdtv display well worth the money.
This tv would be a great buy if u are on a budget or if its for your bed room. but if you want it in your living room and you want the best experience this is not the tv to buy.
If you are one of those people i recomend you dont get this tv as it is only 1366 x 768 and get a tv with full HD which would have resolution of 1920x1080 this would give 1080i wereas this tv is only 720i but can support 1080i as well.
hope this review helps...

SHARP PICTURE BUT WHAT ABOUT THE LOOKS
Review of Samsung LE46N86BD by
millionprodigy
Advantages: great picture quality, gaming mode and pc connectivity
Disadvantages: Looks a bit awkward, no HD
...This Samsung 46 inch tv is from the s86 range which is described as practical yet elegant, I completely agree on the practical side but a bit doubtful about the elegance. It doesnt seem to be as pretty as the other samsung TV with its wide casing and shrunken screen. The wide screen surroundings gives the impression it is trying to be a bigger TV then it is. It looks like a 46inch screen being installed on a 50inch tv. The screen is Sharp and Colours look richer and fuller but still no match for HD which is the Killer blow for this model unfortunetly.
The only reason you would buy this TV over its Siblings is the Fact is is considerably cheaper, about Ģ300-400 cheaper in fact. The LE46S86BD still has loads of clever functions like pc-connectivity and a gaming mode which automatically adjusts the picture to optimum levels when a gaming...

Samsung LE-40F86BD Review
Review of Samsung LE-40F86BD by
eeyore220376
Advantages: Beautiful colours, very dark black colours, works well with standard SKY+ and HD Upscalers
Disadvantages: Sometimes blurry on fast-paced action movies or older films. MoviePlus isn't all that great.
...The Samsung LE-40F86BD is a fantastic TV. I use it with a Standard SKY+ box (i.e. not a SKY+HD model) and the picture is fantastic. As with all TVs using such a box, make suer you can sit at least 2 feet away from it. Sit too close and the picture will look extremely blocky. Due to the quality of the different channels, channels such as SKY ONE or National Geographic will look better (even in SD) than lesser funded channels.
Use a regular DVD player and the picture is beautiful but use an upscaling one such as the Samsung HD870 and the picture is stunning. If only I had an HD DVD PLAYER! I've watched Cars with and without the HD Upscaler and I assure you, the upscaling does make a difference.
Older movies or ones with a lot of fast moving action tend to look a bit blurred at times but in general it's awesome. Movie Plus isn't very...

Superior Picture Quality
Review of Samsung LE32M86BD by
m_howey
Advantages: Picture Quality
Disadvantages: Sound
...Wow!! What a great TV. I have purchased this about 2 weeks ago and I can honestly say I am extremely happy with it.
I previously had a lesser model Samsung 32" tv, which unfortunately was stolen, but I had the last laugh as this upgraded version is so much better. The picture quality is unbelievable on all settings, analogue, digital and hi-def all look life like. It has taken a bit of time for my girlfreind to get used to the picture quality as she say it is "too real" but she has now come round and is happy with it.
I purchased a Samsung Blu-Ray player, the BD-P1400, at the same time and this is amazing too. The fact they are both Samsung means they communicate really well and infact have a built in feature called Anynet+, which mean one button can switch on tv, blu-ray player and start the blu-ray disk playing.
The sound...

Samsung LE23R88BD
Review of Samsung LE23R88BD by
SparklyAnnie
Advantages: Excellent picture, very good sound, comes with Freeview.
Disadvantages: Reaction time when pressing the buttons on the tv and the remote control.
...I have owned the Samsung LE23R88BD for about 6 months now and overall I'm really pleased with it.
Pros- The picture is brilliant, it looks very sleek and has touch control buttons on the side for sound and program change. It comes with a stand but can be wall mounted. The screen never gets dirty and doesn't attract dust. I've read reviews elsewhere that the sound isn't good but I disagree. The tv is in a large dining kitchen and the sound is excellent. I set it to 29/100, so nowhere near full volume. It also comes with Freeview which I've really enjoyed the benefit of.
Cons- Just the reaction time in pressing the remote control and something happening on the tv. Also pressing the on button and the tv actually coming on!...

The best LCD out there
Review of Samsung LE-40R74BD by
martinbell25
Advantages: Fantastic Picture Quality, and sound
Disadvantages: The box in which this product comes in is far too big
...I have recently purchased this exact model for my home, and what can I say. I have had a few LCD Tvs in the past, but this is hands down the best I have ever purchased. Samsung are by far the best retailers in most electronics, and there new LE 40 R LCD Tv model is no exception. I was in two minds whether to go for this Tv, or another popular brand, after much deliberation I decided to go with the Samsung, and I am exstatic that I did. The picture quality on this Tv is phenomenal. Vibrant colours, no displacement of pixels, and more importantly, no fuzziness which some LCD Tvs can give. The sound quality of this product is again unbelievable. With choices of various sound settings, there is eomthing for everyone when it comes to sound.
With added option of being either wall mounted, or situated on a stand, this Tv is extremely versatile...

Heart-thumpingly great!
Review of Samsung LE-46F86BD by
thewhitewolf
Advantages: high def, stunning sound
Disadvantages: can kerk at higher resolutions where pictures looked weird
.... Try watching Planet Earth on a HDTV, any good one will make it look stunning. This tv's immages were crisp, colourful, extremely realistic and sensational. The black levels were better than anywhere i've seen before and even murky images looked great. My heart thudded with anticipation after i put the connections and scart socket in and i laughed for joy after configuring the settings and putting the tv into action.
At 24 frames per second it shows Blue-Ray and HD DVD at their proper rates and hooray to Samsung for the great quality of this HDTV.
100Hz Motion Plus processing allows for the occassional blips you get with LCDs to be ironed out. Though i still get the occassional jerk and at higher settings the pictures take on a weird, unnatural quality.
It's very easy to use and the almost invisible loudspeakers have a high quality sound...
