Snap Happy Samsung!

Advantages: Great camera at a great price.
Disadvantages: None at the price, you get a great item for what you pay!

...I bought this camera in ASDA at the incredible price of £75 in a gorgeous chrome silver colour (pictured). ..., COVER THE FLOOR IF IT'S CARPET! THIS IS A VERY MESSY DYE AND WILL DYE ANYTHING IT LANDS ON. Wipe down any surface if the dye gets onto it as it may colour the surface too. I recommend staying in the bathroom the whole time to avoid any extra mess. When you wash it off, be careful here also as there's a lot of dye that will be flying about hitting your grouting and shower curtains.. I sat down in the bath, tilted my head forward and used the shower head held close to my head in order to direct it straight down the plughole. Samsung but smaller

Advantages: Very compact and lightweight, excellent value for money, great design with brilliant screen
Disadvantages: No dvd drive but this is to save on weight and you can pick up an external one for reasonable

...Having previously had a laptop my wife recently decided to buy a new computer for herself as she felt she was not taking her laptop with her due to size and weight and so decided to opt to pick up the Samsung NC10 netbook. So you may have noticed that this is a netbook and be wondering what this exactly means...a netbook is a smaller, lighter weight laptop that is simply designed to handle internet browsing, e-mail and office software. The question I was asked by my wife before she picked this little gadget up was would this be able to play games? The answer is yes but of a limited variety as this is not designed with the same level of specs in as a normal pc or laptop (you would also need to purchase a cd or dvd drive for if you are looking at playing games that use a cd). Samsung's Neat Little Netbook

Advantages: Good performance, Good connectivity options, Good webcam, 160GB HDD, Upgradeable
Disadvantages: Not very good accessories, Picks up Fingerprints, Weird button under touchpad

...button under touchpad - Resolution could be higher VERDICT Overall, I think the Samsung NC10 is an excellent laptop. I like the look of it, the performance, the keyboard, the connectivity options and even the battery life. I would prefer for it to have Draft N wireless and maybe for it to be a bit lighter but those are minor niggles. One thing I would have liked is a higher resolution, even if the 1024 x 600 is perfectly usable, a higher one would give more flexibility in how well certain content is displayed on the laptop. i.e. movies, graphics, etc. Those things aside, I would highly recommend the NC10 or even the newer Samsung netbook models that supercede the NC10 (i.e. NC20). Buy an external DVD drive and you can even use it as a normal laptop as the performance is very good for the price. Thanks for reading!...

Samsung N500 - an excellent basic phone

Advantages: Practical, functional, good looking phone.
Disadvantages: A bit outdated...

...I have used the Samsung SGH-N500 occasionally for a year or so now, it was originally purchased on eBay (locked to o2) for the bargain price of £50. When it was being sold it retailed for between 60-120, I doubt you'll find it around new anymore having been superseded by the new C100 (similar but colour screen). The phone is very stylish and tactile, all the lines, features and buttons seem to be in just the right place - this is something I've always admired in Samsung phones. From the moment I began to use it I realised it is essentially the same operating system and layout as the older Samsung R210, which I also owned around a year previous to this (may do a review of that one sometime too). When you power up, the screen illuminates a spectacularly bright light blue, this is one of the best backlights I've seen and always turns...

...hey guys! this phone is great. no two ways about it. havent personally heard of any problems occurring with software, which happened quite quickly with the original n95 and the n96, so hopefully this is getting better. This is a standard video format and really does provide excellent image quality. Its a pretty time-tested and reliable format. Response Time is 8ms which I must say is super. What this means is how long it takes (in milliseconds) an LCD screen to go from gray-to-gray. This is a very important point in viewing moving images (for example movies or games). In fact the main idea was to have a first hand experience of Samsung range of cameras and I thought it prudent to try the cheapest possible available in Samsung array of cameras.
