...the performance of a camera is heavily reliant on your requirements for that camera and this is a serious consideration. Whilst this camera greatly suits my needs, it may not suit yours, so please think about this before comitting to buy. At this point, I was interested in the Samsung and after being wowed by it's low price-tag and the offer to return it should it not meet the performance I had expected, I was sold. My first impressions was only of its appearance (you cannot try cameras out in ASDA). The front is solid metal casing, whilst the back is more plasticy, with a large screen and directional buttons. This was my first and last worry about this camera- I'm clumsy and I didn't want to break the device by dropping it and shattering the apparently fragile back cover. Review of Samsung ES55

Samsung's Neat Little Netbook

Advantages: Good performance, Good connectivity options, Good webcam, 160GB HDD, Upgradeable
Disadvantages: Not very good accessories, Picks up Fingerprints, Weird button under touchpad

...(although I do still have the cloth from my Eee PC). USING The NC10 has a 1.6GHz Atom processor and 1GB of RAM, which doesn't sound like much but it is very nippy for a low cost notebook. Music and videos play smoothly as they would on a full size laptop. The memory is even upgradable as the 1GB memory can be swapped with a 2GB one for even more performance. Also, 160GB storage for something that was meant to just be for surfing the net is pretty good and would allow for a lot of downloading. I would prefer this over a Linux netbook with a Solid State Drive with limited storage. Battery life seems to last about 5 hours although they quote 7 hours (probably only if you have it with the lowest brightness and leave it idle). Samsung but smaller

Advantages: Very compact and lightweight, excellent value for money, great design with brilliant screen
Disadvantages: No dvd drive but this is to save on weight and you can pick up an external one for reasonable

...Having previously had a laptop my wife recently decided to buy a new computer for herself as she felt she was not taking her laptop with her due to size and weight and so decided to opt to pick up the Samsung NC10 netbook. Samsung hits the netbook world for 6

Advantages: sturdy, reliable, quite nippy for a netbook, relativley cheap
Disadvantages: sound, no ssd option, still can't beat the aspire one

...10 is very slightly nippier than some other netbooks such as the msi wind. The screen is also the standard 10.2" 1024x600 too, but it is a very good quality screen, and puts most other netbooks to shame. The deciding factor in the netbook market is the quality of the netbook, and the samsung comes with quality to the hilt. The solid build of the netbook combined with it's spacious (by netbook standards) keyboard helps to make using such small devices less of a pain, and everything just feels right with it. the ports and connectivity are good too, with 3 USB ports, a VGA out port (for hooking up to an external monitor) and a 10/100 ethernet port.vBattery life is pretty standard, generally speaking the netbook will last 3-4 hours before dying. overall there isn't much to criticise this netbook for, sure it could come with a SSD drive...

...I bought my NC10 to replace my laptop which was just too heavy to be carrying to and from work everyday. I purchased my NC10 on a promotion weekend from a high street store beating online prices significantly. I was trying to avoid big bulky items to carry as I was on crutches at the time. Not recommended but straight out of box into my rucksack in the shop from which it was purchased. Didn't notice much weight difference in my bag at all. The Samsung NC10 has served me dilligently now being used more and more instead of my normal laptop as battery life is excellent. I use the NC10 round the house for coursework, work and even during my work lunch. The screen is bright and very easy to read, I primarily use the NC10 at home for surfing the net to shop and for music in the background. I have an extensive playlist on Spotify...

...I recieved this netbook for christmas and all i can say is 'wow'! My background with computers is vast having built many and installed multiple operating systems on each, however i have never owned a laptop. Therefore i was a little dubious about some of the things such as keyboard size, processing power and battery life. I was looking for a laptop which is very small in physical size while packing a punch so it could still carry out multiple tasks. Samsung NC10 Netbook

Advantages: Lots of connectivity - Big keyboard - excellent screen - Good spec

...I managed to pick up this netbook for £299 which is oustanding value - from play.com. The netbook is very light and can fit almost anywhere - it is very easy to carry around - you can set up anywhere and very easily connect to the internet where available. The netbook looks very stylish and everything is laid out well. The keyboard is the biggest i have ever seen on a netbook - its almost full size which is a bonus as I have a lot of typing to do. One disadvantage of this is that the mousepad has been made very small which is a nuisance - you do get used to it but it is not ideal. The Samsung Tocco is a good value touch screen phone

Advantages: Touch screen, easy menu access, good sound quality, light and good camera.
Disadvantages: Phone cover could be better. A better phone for those with smaller fingers!

On the whole it's a decent little touch screen phone for the money but some improvements could be made! it's a light, easy to handle phone and I haven't had any real problems using the touch screen, but I have fairly small fingers, being a woman, and know some guys who have had trouble using the touch screen because they have chunkier fingers!
