Cracking little package
Review of Samsung SGH G600 by
mrtoffee
Advantages: Loads of gadgets and dead easy to use
Disadvantages: Not as small as the E600
...Having previously owned the Samsung E600 i decided to opt for the Samsung G600 when I recently changed phones and I am very pleased with my decision. There are so many features on this phone including a 5mag camara, mp3 player and radio.
The phone is dead easy to navigate and use and I must say for a phone the camara is extremely good quality. I have been especially impressed with reception, I must admit I didn't think be quad band it would make much difference but I appears to have really cut down the black spots.
Overall this phone is a very impressive package which is easy to use, making it perfect for both technophobes and those into all the latest gadgets.
With the G600 currently being available for free from most networks/contracts this phone is extremely good value for money....

The best slide-phone on the market
Review of Samsung SGH G600 by
wardy-91
Advantages: Stylishy Brilliant
Disadvantages: battery life starting to wear a little after only 6 months..
...Wow! This stylish phone has to be my all time favourite phone that could possibly never recieve any critisism. It is the best phone i have ever owned and has acted like an iPod to me.
The phone has to many features to explain in a 150 word review! For a start the music player (which is the most apealing feature to me) is superb and similar to that of an iPod or any other MP3 player. You get a 1Gb memory card with it which is amazing, and hold around 300 songs.
The battery life is great (so far), and the screen is huuge, but not too big. Texting is very good, and the sound quality when on the phone is superb! Overall, I would say that if you liek Samsung phones, then this is a great phone for you as it's a typical stylish Samsung!...

Wipes the floor with the competition
Review of Samsung SGH G600 by
thesquadronleader
Advantages: user friendly, well built, good size screen, call quality, no software probs
Disadvantages: none
...The inevitable death of my Nokia N95 following serious software issues meant that I had the opportunity to borrow my wife's mobile phone while a replacement was forthcoming. What started out as a replacement and a temporary solution to my mobile phone needs has firmly become MY phone and indeed when the replacement from my phone provider arrived it was presented to my wife. The reasons for my love of the Samsung SGH G600 are quite simple, it works perfectly as a mobile phone, has lots of quirky and interesting features and it is the easiest piece of technology I have ever managed to get my hands on.
Like all mobile phones these days, the Samsung SGH G600 is tiny, and considerably smaller than my N95, with the unit weighing just a fraction over 100 grams and being perfectly pocket sized with dimensions of approximately 10 x 5 x 15 cm...

Love it
Review of Samsung SGH G600 by
KaylieLandymore
Advantages: robust, stylish and fun
Disadvantages: camera quality not excellent in bad light
...I love this phone it looks classy and i dont feel like im going to break it all the time! I have recently upgraded to the samsung soul but personally i still prefer this one! If you could take the function of choosing your own music as a message tone and the video editor from the soul and transfer it to the g600 it would be the perfect phone. Although the camera isnt quite what i expected being a 5mp it is still a bit blurry around the edges if your not in good light, but in good light it takes a perfect picture. This phone is quite easy to personalise with your own theme and step by step instructions on screen as your doing it. The sound quality is brill. the battery life is long and its light and thin but still remains robust! i dropped this phone countless times and its never given up on me, its now my boyfriends phone, as a farmer he...

Samsung SGH G600 is Fab
Review of Samsung SGH G600 by
kellybayliss
Advantages: Sleek ,easy to use, good and obviosly the great 5 Mega pixel camera
Disadvantages: No 3G
...thrown it several times and dropped it in the toilet once, and after drying it out , it still works fine no problems at all, really robust phone . It comes with 1GB microSD card, head phones and wireless ear piece in the box. Samsung may a wise choice in getting rid of the touch sensitive buttons of the U600 and replaced with some easy to use buttons.
I would defiantly buy another Samsung and recommend it as a great phone....

G600....5 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA...NEED I SAY MORE!
Review of Samsung SGH G600 by
nim3
Advantages: 5 megapixel camera
Disadvantages: no xeon flash
...The brand new offering from Samsung is the G600. Boasting a 5 Megapixel camera this is certain to have mass appeal. Specification wise it is jam packed and here are the main highlights of this brand new mobile phone:
5 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA
Obvioulsy the biggest attraction is the camera, which does live upto expectations. I myself already have a digital camera which is also 5 megapixels so could not help comparing the two. Quality wise both are the same, and seeing as the G600 is much much slimmer I really have little need for my digital camera anymore. The camera comes with flash however this is not XENON flash which I find is the best, it is LED Photo light. The camera also comes with auto focus and you can change the camera setting to your own personal style aswell as editting those images. Along with the camers is a video recorder...

The Phone To Have
Review of Samsung SGH G600 by
ItalianFran92
Advantages: 5MP camera, personalise menus and background, sleek, price dropped
Disadvantages: Corner digs into you whilst texting, could be slimmer or smaller
...The G600 is a reliable phone that is very sleek. You slide the phone to reveal the keyboard and on the back the camera's lens, when sliding it back the lens is then protected. The camera is 5MP; it has an auto-focus lens along with power LED flash. Even though it's not as good as a digital camera it produces fairly good pictures which you can edit on the phone before printing.
The phone has a large high-quality colour screen, you can personalise your phone by creating your own background and menu etc. Samsung also has an internet browser, Bluetooth and USB connectivity to put your pictures on your computer or music on your phone. The screen doesn't glare and it comes with a memory card slot so you can have hundreds of songs, videos and more photos than you would without a memory card.
It's not an overcomplicated phone to use...

G600 - Nice to have a change from Nokia and Sony
Review of Samsung SGH G600 by
chimp98
Advantages: Good body layout, bright screen, battery life, photo quality, computer software,
Disadvantages: Sending SMS requires more keystrokes, Shortcuts not fully configurable
...I bought Samsung G600 couple of weeks back on contract from e2save.
Initially I was not very sure about the phone as the reviews were quite conflicting, although after owning the phone now for more than two weeks I thihk I am quite pleased with the buy.
To start with the points I like about the phone:
1> The phone body layout is very good, the phone feels great in hand, it's slim but not very difficult to handle.
2> The screen is quite bright, even visible in good day's sunlight.
3> Battery life is satisfactory - charged once in three days after moderate use (not much used the music player or camera)
4> Photo quality is good, but camera takes couple of seconds to capture photo once you click the button (which is disappointing)
5> Music player sound is good, same is about the FM player
6> Software to install on the computer is nice...

One of the best phone/camera out their
Review of Samsung SGH G600 by
MrBucket90
Advantages: Good size, full of features
Disadvantages: no 3G or wifi
...Owning only samsung mobiles for about the last 3 years, i found them to be very good quality, and packed full of features. This is my newest to my samsung lineup: the G600
Using a slide feature just like most of the other samsungs, i find this design to be the best, as i like the way in which sliding the phone down cancels all actions.
The thickness of the phone is suprisingly very thin given the features it provides (at around 15mm). Although quite heavy (105g), i felt this addition in weight makes the phone feel much stronger and durable, emphasising the phones brilliant build quality.
The 5 mega-pixel camera i find to be the most useful feature of this device, protected by the cover on the back, and then fully revealed on sliding the phone open. Photos taken at night are not that particualy good, but then again this is no SLR, its...

Samsung G600 - Great Stylish all rounder
Review of Samsung SGH G600 by
KittyV
Advantages: Brilliant gadgets, camera and functions
Disadvantages: Very Quite Ringtones
...I just got a free upgrade from Orange and went for the Samsung G600. It's a great bundle, unlike most other phones it comes free with a 1GB Micro SD card, which normally retails at around £10)
It also comes with a Samsung Bluetooth headset, Software for the PC Studio, headphones (with the radio pickup), USB lead and power lead.
The G600 phone is 102 mm in height and 14.9 mm wide and weighs just 104g so it's light yet feels well made and is a perfect size for my lady hands
It's a nice metallic ebony black with an aluminium metal mount in front. It looks very stylish with it's 16M colours TFT screen and a great resolution with 240 x 320 pixels
Menu
The menu is clear and easy to navigate, I will not bore you with all the features you can read about those on the Samsung website but i will mention a few that I love about this phone
SOS...
