The Samsung SGH - F480

Advantages: Looks great, has lots of useful functions and you can personalise it to your exact needs.
Disadvantages: Slow internet, hardly ever get a 3G signal and the text messaging keypad could be improved.

...The Samsung SGH - F480, also known as the Samsung Tocco is an ultra-stylish touch screen mobile phone. With its great looks and its 5 mega pixel camera the Samsung Tocco is one of the best choice of touch screen mobile phones out on the market today. It is so simple to use yet there are so many different functions built into it so you can do to it to make it exactly how you want. Like many other phones, as soon as you turn the phone on you are greeted with your home-screen. On the tocco's home-screen there is a sliding bar along the side called the touch wiz where you can store all of your favourite applications, such as your music player, and simply drag them onto the main screen of the phone when you want to use it. This is a great function as if you like to have a clear home-screen on your phone it allows you to have one just by...

Samsung SGH-F480 my experience

Advantages: Great features, and stylish!
Disadvantages: On the odd occasion the phone will freeze

...I have had my Samsung for 5 months now and I love it! The stylish design and the easy to use main menu. The phone has alot of feature 5 mega pix camera, video, completely touch screen, Bluetooth, internet browser,3G calling, 8gb memory card ect. In my opinion when I first brought the phone I was shocked at how much this item was, but when I started to use this phone and took advantage of all its features I didn?t mind paying that extra. I salesman said the best thing to do is charge it over night so I can get the most out of the battery, he was right I only have to charge my phone 3 times a week. On the other hand on the odd occasion the phone will freeze when I?m trying to text or make a phone call but recently this hasn?t happened for some time. My friend has the same phone and her handset dose the same, she doesn?t like the phone...

Samsung SGH-700 Phone

Advantages: A great, reliable and cheap phone full of standard features
Disadvantages: Not the highest picture and sound quality

...My brand new F480 Tocco popped its clogs a couple of weeks ago after just a couple of months usage, and with very little pennies in the bank at the moment I couldn't afford to just go out and buy another one, so off I trotted to Mommy and Daddys house to see if they had a spare phone for me to use. They came to my rescue with my Dads previous phone which he had kept as a spare phone - the Samsung SGH-J700. ~The Phone Itself~ The design itself is quite sleek, obviously not to the standard of some of the newer and more expensive phones of late, but still quite stylish in looks for the price paid for it. It is a 'slide-up' phone where you have to push the screen up to reveal the key buttons underneath. This is a standard style phone and not a touch screen phone. It is available with either a black or silver casing. I personally...

Samsung SGH D900

Advantages: Stylish, Quite compact
Disadvantages: Camera, Sound, Memory

...I own this phone and i got it when it first came out at the end of last year some time. I got it on contract with Orange, so i can't really comment on what the price/value of the phone was. But, as with most contract phones, the handset was free and was delivered free of charge. LOOKS - When i first saw this phone, i thought it looked quite nice and compact, with the very slim and sleak stylings that was widely talked about and advertised on tele. I opened the box, and my initial thought was that it looked alot bigger than was shown on the tele, but was very thin, and looked good none the less. With the big screen and stylish front panel with the basic buttons on. With a silver trim around the middle arrows and okay button, and a small part along the top for the speaker, keeping in line with the Samsung logo on the front. I was...

Samsung SGH U600

Advantages: It is an all in one 'phone, looks very good, is simple to use
Disadvantages: Battery life can be short

...I bought this mobile on the basis that it was shiny and new primarily (yes I know I am shallow) but I have since been very impressed with the features, ease of use and quality. I normally use a mobile to only telephone people with and the Samsung SGH U600 does that with ease. Reception coverage has been flawless everywhere from Southend up to Derby. However I have found myself using the other features more and more. I like the simple way it handles text messaging ( I don't bother with grammer/punctuation but do spell words correctly). I work away from home a lot and have found that the radio function is really useful with excellent reception everywhere I have found myself. It saves having to take another gadget with me as well. Likewise I have found the music player excellent also. (I did buy a 2 gig memory card to cope with all...

Samsung SGH-i600 - Looks like a Blackberry

Advantages: QWERTY Keyboard, Runs Windows, Robust
Disadvantages: Can run a bit slow, No touch screen

...The Samsung SGH-i600, known as the Blackjack / i607 in the U.S, is a smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard (has keys like on a computer keyboard). The phone is a PDA style phone and often gets mistaken for a Blackberry, which is famous for the QWERTY keyboard. It definitely looks good and for the professional, which is the intention as it is intended as a business phone. I've dropped it many times with and without it being in a case so the phone is pretty tough. On the front, it has a 2.3 inch screen and a lot of buttons underneath it, most of which makes up the keyboard. The number pad has been combined with the keyboard and although looks a bit strange, is quite easy to dial the correct numbers because the buttons with numbers are in gray. The buttons are quite small but there is a big enough gap between each button so it's not...

A good buy? SAMSUNG SGH-U900 SOUL

Advantages: Most of the features: cameras, bluetooth, size, display
Disadvantages: The volume of the sound, battery power

...After looking around a plethora of electrical stores, completely undecided about which phone I should purchase, I spotted the Samsung SGH-U900 Soul, sitting stylish and modern on its perch. The phone, which comes in a small variety of colours (including pink, silver and graphite) is of slide design. Underneath the perfectly-sized display screen, which even caters for those with less than perfect eyesight, lies the coloured touchpad. The sensitivity of this touchpad, along with the colour can also be altered, as can the 'vibrate-when-touched' function it contains. My perhaps favourite feature of this super-sexy mobile is most likely to be the 5.0 Megapixel camera. This amazing camera can not only capture pictures of ultra-fine quality, but it can also capture videos of the same calibre. With the phone's very own editing...

Samsung SGH M110 : solid but slow.

Advantages: Dust proof, Robust.
Disadvantages: Cumbersome functionality.

... Samsung "Solid" SGH M110 good points *One thing I like about this phone is the fine grill over the speaker. This keeps dust out, I'd previously had problems in my line of work with metal dust sticking to the magnet in the speaker, resulting in severe static and frequent repairs. *The robust rubbery body gives it a solid look and feel. *No complaints on the battery life, FM radio uses a bit of juice though. *Quite satisfied with the camera, good quality photos. *I found the Bluetooth very useful for sending pictures without the need for an expensive USB cable. *A lot cheaper than similar robust phones like the JCB. *Good battery life. On the down side *Sending an SMS is quite a drawn out process, requires you to go through too many submenus. When I've finished texting and press the "Back" button to clear the screen it...

Samsung have done it again!!!!

Advantages: Good camera, music player, connectivity
Disadvantages: Call cut outs

...This is by far the best phone I have ever had. I previously had a Sony Ericsson phone which I was very disappointed with so I quickly changed it for the Samsung Tocco as testing have previously owned Samsung phones & have been extremely pleased with them as i am with this. The first thing that stood out to me about this phone was the size of the screen which compared to other phones I have had is huge! It is also a very slim phone which for me adds to the appeal. When I first bought this phone back in June I couldn't wait to get home & try it out & I wasn't disappointed! In the box comes all the standard features like a charger, pc studio cd-rom & a usb cable. The only thing that I feel should have been included is a memory card as I know Sony Ericisson are now including them with alot of their models. The Pc studio is very easy to...

THE SAMSUNG SGH-D900

Advantages: Super slim, great design and compact
Disadvantages: A little plasticky

...Samsung does it again. This is a fantastic up to date phone that im not embarrased to get out of my pocket. Its around £120-£150 in high street shops, though i must add that i walked past O2 the phone store, and in the window was a great offer for the samsung SGH-D900 on a £35 per month tariff for 18 months,i could get 600 minutes anytime talk,500 texts and saturdays, sundays and mondays talk for free.plus a free ipod shuffle mp3 player. ABOUT THE DESIGN The first thing i noticed is its slick slider to open the phone and the fact that the phone is so slim,it fits great into any handbag and for the gents its great in your back pocket. It comes in two great colours black and silver,i got the silver and in my opinion it looks better than the black.I would say its about 9cm in length when shut and 12cm when open. The thickness i would say...
