...Well, having seen this about on t'internet for a while, when my O2 contract was up for renewal last week, this was the one I had to have ! Having once been a dedicated "Nokia only" man, my mind is definitely opening having recently owned and used a Samsung E710 & D500 so I was certainly optomistic about this one. It arrived on Friday afternoon in a lovely box containing the following items: - SGH-P300 phone itself - Leather flip case / additional battery - Stereo hands free headset - Wall power charger - USB connnector cable - User manual - Software CD The phone is absolutely tiny, the same size as a credit card at just 86mm x 54mm and only a little bit thicker at 8.9 mm. Being this thin means, I guess, that carrying it around in my back pocket (oh so tempting) is really not a good idea just in case I sit down and snap...

Advantages: Looks great, has lots of useful functions and you can personalise it to your exact needs.
Disadvantages: Slow internet, hardly ever get a 3G signal and the text messaging keypad could be improved.

Samsung SGH U600

Advantages: It is an all in one 'phone, looks very good, is simple to use
Disadvantages: Battery life can be short

...I bought this mobile on the basis that it was shiny and new primarily (yes I know I am shallow) but I have since been very impressed with the features, ease of use and quality. I normally use a mobile to only telephone people with and the Samsung SGH U600 does that with ease. Reception coverage has been flawless everywhere from Southend up to Derby. However I have found myself using the other features more and more. I like the simple way it handles text messaging ( I don't bother with grammer/punctuation but do spell words correctly). I work away from home a lot and have found that the radio function is really useful with excellent reception everywhere I have found myself. It saves having to take another gadget with me as well. It does come complete with alarm, calendar and calculator, as well as a few unneccesary features as well such a To Do, and World Time. **Ringtones** The tones that come with the phone are your usual, cheesy polyphinic sounds, ten of them in total. Samsung SGH-F480 my experience

Advantages: Great features, and stylish!
Disadvantages: On the odd occasion the phone will freeze

...I have had my Samsung for 5 months now and I love it! The stylish design and the easy to use main menu. The phone has alot of feature 5 mega pix camera, video, completely touch screen, Bluetooth, internet browser,3G calling, 8gb memory card ect. In my opinion when I first brought the phone I was shocked at how much this item was, but when I started to use this phone and took advantage of all its features I didn?t mind paying that extra. I salesman said the best thing to do is charge it over night so I can get the most out of the battery, he was right I only have to charge my phone 3 times a week. On the other hand on the odd occasion the phone will freeze when I?m trying to text or make a phone call but recently this hasn?t happened for some time. ...I have had my Samsung SGH S300 for 6 months now and feel I did not waste my money. I do however have thumbs down for the non existent Bluetooth technology. The phone is provided with 2 batteries. Both are different in the standby duration. The extended life battery gives you roughly another day of standby mode. You have an external clock. This is only activated when you press and hold down the external volume button for a few seconds. You can change the colour of the external flashing light which is activated when you receive a call or message. The keys to the Samsung SGH S300 lighten up in a very attractive blue. More attractive when you are using your mobile at night. You have 40 polyphonic ring tones and have a WAP browser too.
