...I own this phone and i got it when it first came out at the end of last year some time. I got it on contract with Orange, so i can't really comment on what the price/value of the phone was. But, as with most contract phones, the handset was free and was delivered free of charge. LOOKS - When i first saw this phone, i thought it looked quite nice and compact, with the very slim and sleak stylings that was widely talked about and advertised on tele. I opened the box, and my initial thought was that it looked alot bigger than was shown on the tele, but was very thin, and looked good none the less. ...Samsung does it again. This is a fantastic up to date phone that im not embarrased to get out of my pocket. Its around £120-£150 in high street shops,though i must add that i walked past O2 the phone store,and in the window was a great offer for the samsung SGH-D900 on a £35 per month tariff for 18 months,i could get 600 minutes anytime talk,500 texts and saturdays,sundays and mondays talk for free.plus a free ipod shuffle mp3 player. ...The Samsung Omnia SGH-i900V I recieved my Samsung Omnia just over a month ago and to date it has been as impressive as the first day. It has many amazing features which i will explain later. However do note that samsung have not released the latest firmware for the phone, so some features you may have seen or heard about with the phones software may not be accesible unless you find and install the firmware update like i did. SGH-D900 Samsung Mobile Phone

Advantages: Recently Made Cheap, Compact/Small, Powerful Camera, Nice Displays
Disadvantages: Low Battery Life, a bit on Full Volume

The D900 fits smugly into your pocket, it has a small speaker to listen to MP3 and Call Sounds etc. I previously has a Sony Erricson W800i and it was constantly going off in my backpocket and calling people due to its thickness (yes I know how to lock a phone), fortunatly with the D900 I have no problem with this, as it is so small when I take it out for use, the phone is always still in the same position. The D900 also is very much like a computer or a PDA i'd say (some might disagree) but you can customize a lot, you have a lot of customizable options, and so forth. ...I have been using the Samsung D900i phone and overall found it to be an excellent phone in the slim and sleek ranges. At first look its pretty good lookin and the light weight slim design made a welcome change to my Nokia 6630, which now looks like an oversized phone for me.
