It is more than looks that count ...
Review of Samsung RL33SBNS by
Bynea
Advantages: Looks good, practical in application
Disadvantages: Has proved unrealiable. Fridge keeps frosting up.
...While the fridge freezer is a good looker and is practicable, while priced competitively, reliability has been a problem and the notorious Samsung customer service has been extremely frustrating. The fridge keeps frosting up and customer service from Samsung is unsatisfactory. Their staff don't know what they are talking about, they use an 0870 number and keep you hanging on. We received contradictory advice from different staff and wasted a lot of time doing something we were asked to do, which a staff member then could not deal with. There appoears to be a policy to keep you on the telephone line. A friend has had a similar problem with her recently purchased Samsung Widescreen TV.
So while we like the fridge freezer, we would definitely not purchase another one and would certainly not purchase another Samsung product....

Samsung SGH-E900
Review of Samsung SGH E900 by
lucy_1994
Advantages: stylish and slim
Disadvantages: sensive in a few ways
...the samsung SGH-E900 is touch sensitive but if you are writing a text message and accidentally press the exit button you have to start again, or even playing a game. this phone started off as 180 pound on vodafone and is now down to 80 pound. i wouldnt recommend this phone with anyone with little patience. sometimes i feel like throwing the phone out of the phone out of the window as it is so annoying. samsung made the E900 to look stylish but didnt think much about touch sensitive part. it was meant to be an upgrade of earlier phones they made. but the camera is poorer than the one on earlier phones made by samsung. the camera is also very sensitive. also if you want to listen to music but your battery is too low you couldnt listen to the music while it was charging....

Total Style
Review of Samsung SGH E700 by
cousi5
Advantages: Quality pictures
Disadvantages: Takes pictures in your pocket
...The Samsung E700 is a very stylish and sleek mobile. Since i have changed from Nokia to Samsung i haven't been disappointed. Some of the main advantages are: good quality pictures, real music tones available to download, easy to use. Once you get used to this phone it is very simple to use and has some good features such as money converter and diary!
The disadvantages that i have found personally are: No key lock so the phone takes pictures in your pocket very annoying, if like me you have changed from nokia to samsung it can be a little annoying getting used to the functions such as text messages!
Other than that i have been very pleased with this phone and will definately upgrade to the next samsung when my contract is ready!...

a easily affordable excellent mobile
Review of Samsung SGH D500 by
peanuthead2006
Advantages: good look, strong desing, mp3 player
Disadvantages: screen easily breakable
...this samsung d500 is the phone that i own which i bought from ebay for £115.60 in a excellent condition.
it is great value for money and is just as good as all the new phones that are being released recently, this is because:
new phones and the samsung d500 both have:
bluetooth
mp3 player
good memory
java games
excellent camera
strong design
excellent looks
good colour screen
and the samsung d500 also has a sos flashlight in case you get lost in the jungle somewhere!!
i advise that if you are after a new phone but dont want to pay £300 - £400 then you should get yourself on ebay which i also highly rate a purchase a samsung d500 for anywhere in between £80 - £120
thanks for everyones ratings and good look getting your phone...

Samsung DVD 709 - Don't Bother!
Review of Samsung DVD-709 by
jonny30
Advantages: Looks nice
Disadvantages: Samsung have no respect for their customers
...I purchased myself a Samsung DVD 709 player shortly after they were first released based upon the reccomendations of several magazines. Also, the fact that it looks pretty good.
Initially, I was extremely pleased with my purchase, having never experienced the DVD phenomonom. However, it all started to go wrong very quickly. I purchased "Something About Mary" which wouldn't work. thinking it was the DVD I returned it, only to be shown it working on another player. I contacted Samsungs so called "technical support". They had heard of the problem but hadn't got a clue what to do about it. They instructed me to leave my contact details and as soon as a fix was available they would contact me. Several weeks passed and still no contact. However, from digging around on the internet it became clear that a fix was available from Samsung yet I...

Another Elegant flip-phone by samsung
Review of Samsung P510 by
cykosinon
Advantages: Auto-flip, self portrate, bright LED
Disadvantages: big ariel, dull games
...This phone is amazing, it impresses everyone because the cover can open and close pressing a small button on the side. Acutally this technology is nothing new, Samsung had a T200 which did the same. The mecahnism is extremely realiable and the phone opens up and closes at a pace which I would say is "Stylish"
This time, samsung stayed with a "monochrome" front display, which means that only 1 colour is displayed on the front panel. Self-portrait function is still available, and this time Samsung put in a really bright LED to fill brightness of the photos.
Video function is not that good though, it does not record sound and videos can't be transfered to PC.
Connectivity of this phone is rather low, it has WAP, GPRS, IRDA functions, and that's about it..... No bluetooth mate.... establishing a connection with PC requires software provided...

Samsung Syncmaster 2032MW
Review of Samsung Syncmaster 2032MW by
fallenakira
Advantages: Large Resolution, Crisp Display
Disadvantages: Average response times
...The Syncmaster 2032MW TFT screen was specially designed by Samsung for gamers and graphic designers.
With a 1000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and a 20" 16:10 screen, the Syncmaster 2032MW has exceptional image quality and bright colours.
The rich quality and crispness of the Samsung Syncmaster 2032MW is amazing, with response times as low as 5 ms, 16.2 million colours and a max resolution of 1680 x 1050 this monitor is perfect for all things computing.
From gaming to watching real time TV. (Whats more, the Samsung Syncmaster 2032MW also includes a built in TV-Tuner) The SyncMaster Uses both RVB and DVI inputs and has a max power consumption of 45 Watts.
The Samsung Syncmaster 2032MW isn't the best monitor on the Samsung Syncmaster line but its value money is better than most monitors with its large resolution it beats its...

Sleek samsung E800
Review of Samsung E800 by
teresalp123
Advantages: Ease of use
Disadvantages: Photo quality not as good as some phones
...I have had my Samsung E800 for over a year, before this I had a Samsung E700. I am wholly converted to Samsung and would never ever get a phone from another manufacturer. I find this phone to be so easy to use and easy to navigate around the many different functions (camera, ring tones, message tones, wallpaper, WAP, calendar, organiser, games etc etc). The slide function is just so cool and must admit that when I first got this phone I was worried that this could be the achilles heel, i.e. the slider would be prone to breaking. Not so, this is a very robust phone, and touch wood, I have not had one single problem with it.
The only thing I was a bit dissappointed with is the camera quality, it is not totally poor but just not on par with some other phones of it's class, but that said I would prefer a Samsung to any other make out there....

A easy introduction to the world of DVD's
Review of Samsung DVD-709 by
nem
Advantages: Reasonably priced and easy to install
Disadvantages: Only plays European ( Region 2 ) discs
...I was looking for my first DVD player and the Samsung 709 was a perfect solution. The machine is easy to install and comes with all the connection leads necessary. Within 10 minutes the machine can be up and running.
The sound and picture quality are excellent (even when attached to a portable tv).The machine however is outstanding when you connect it up to a widescreen television as most of the films you will find come in the widescreen format.
The only disadvantage is that it can only play European discs.
If you are looking for a DVD player then you can't go far wrong with the Samsung 709....
