It Broke....
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 800 TFT by
ReviewDude
Advantages: TFT
Disadvantages: Too Bright, Too Small, Too Expensive, Too White
...I had little success with this Samsung TFT monitor. I own a range of Samsung products so had no doubt when buying this.
I purchased it online and it arrived a few days later. I opened the box to find it was white, the first surprise. The website I purchase it from showed it as being silver and not white so I wasn't very happy.
The white shell marks easy and doesn't fit in as well as silver. The next problem was with the stand. Because the monitor isn't CRT there's no weight pushing down on the stand. The monitor can be knocked over easy or even blown over if there was a strong wind.
The SyncMaster 800 brags about it's extra brightness but Samsung have nothing to brag about when it comes to this feature. When I first turned it on I thought It had gone into light speed.
The brightness is far too high and I had to turn it down after...

Samsung SyncMaster 245B
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 245B by
Gooders5
Advantages: Superb vivid colours and quality and great value
Disadvantages: None
...Previously had an LG 19" Widescreen TFT and decided to upgrade to a Samsung SyncMaster 245B. Its native resolution of 1920x1200 is fantastic and the colours are so vivid. Playing gamers on it has never been so much fun, you can see so much and the screen is nice to look at. Its not as expensive as the Dell widescreens and in my opinion the screen is just as good, came packed with all necessary cables and 3 year standard manufacturer warranty. The TFT has a standard refresh rate of 60hz at max resolution but thats an average for a TFT and doesnt effect it really. If your looking for a gaming/media experience in the home and want a superb TFT to look at for visual quality this wont dissapoint you. Its great value for money and made by a reputable brand. Mine came in solid black polished finished and has a very modern look. Connections...

Beautiful Design & Image Quality By Samsung
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW by
Surj1
Advantages: Sleek Design, 2ms Response Time, 22" Widescreen & Easy Configuration
Disadvantages: Slightly Dodgy Stand Set-up
...The Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW is the latest in Samsung's TFT monitors range and looks great. The monitor has a smooth design to it and beautiful curves which isn't common with TFT's. Samsung have made the design similar to there HD LCD TV's which is a step in the right direction for sure.
Setting up the monitor wasn't as simple as I thought it would be. I was a bit surprised that the stand didn't immediately click into the rubber slot of the actual monitor. It took some encouragement to get it to click into place. After I got that out of the way I powered the monitor and inserted the software provided into the PC and simply followed the instruction wizard, which I should add is very simple. This configures the monitor to how you want it, brightness, resolution etc.
Specification and Features:
- 22in widescreen TFT
- 1,680 x 1...

Samsung SyncMaster 920N
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 920N by
Aka2097
Advantages: 19" good pitcher quality
Disadvantages: not the best spec in the world
...This is a rely good TFT monitor it has a good response time of 8ms and good resolution of 1280 x 1024 / 75 Hz. The pitcher quality is good. It has Up to 16.2 million colors and 0.294 mm pixel pitch and finally a 700:1 Contrast Ratio. All this makes for a good screen and for around 140.00 it is a great deal.
The down sides to the screens are that it is not very adjustable and finally the buttons have a cheap feel to them.
This screen is not meant for hard core gamers but for general use. The screen is good but it will not amaze you.
Over all this is a really good screen good quality and easy to setup there is a CD included but XP will automatically install the screen for you.
A good buy...

At last you can afford a TFT flat panel monitor
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 730MW by
dnh9
Advantages: light, space-saving, instant warm-up
Disadvantages: can buy a very high quality 17" tube for the same price
...I'd promised myself a flat-panel monitor for some years now, but at £500+ I couldn't justify the expense. Finally, the prices are dropping to reasonable levels. In June 2001 when I saw a Samsung SyncMaster 570V TFT going for a "mere" £350 at a local computer fair, I took the plunge. I've subsequently seen them on sale in PC World for £400.
I'll never buy a cathode 17" again. You save an incredible amount of front/back space and don't risk a hernia every time you shift a flat-panel. Characters are crisp and clear at 1024 x 768 resolution and the colours are vibrant.
There's little reason to go down to the interpolated 800 x 600 resolution, which is perfectly adequate but not so impressive as the native 1024 x 768.
The 15" 570V is equivalent to the visible screen coverage of a traditional 17" tube, and at 12" across by 9" down it...

Samsung SyncMaster 172 T TFT Flat Panel Display
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 172 T by
jala
Advantages: Super Slim, Dual Hinged, good for usual desktop standing or for wall mounting
Disadvantages: None
...I finally had the opportunity to buy a TFT Flat Panel Display and after reading many, many reviews found that the Samsung 172 T was the one for me. I wanted something affordable and professional, and got exactly that.
Gone are the days when my old chunky monitor took up half of my desk space. The design in ultra slim, ultra stylish and ultra sexy (in the mundane world of computers anyway!).
The actual thickness of the TFT from front to back is no more than one inch. A dramatic change from conventional monitors.
As a Photographer and Designer who uses programs such as PhotoShop, Flash, Illustrator etc. I needed a better than excellent image quality. This TFT has excellent image quality. I have had no problems whatsoever with regards to dot pitch, which was one of the things I feared when I decided to buy a TFT. Dot pitch being...

Samsung Syncmaster 2032MW
Review of Samsung Syncmaster 2032MW by
fallenakira
Advantages: Large Resolution, Crisp Display
Disadvantages: Average response times
...The Syncmaster 2032MW TFT screen was specially designed by Samsung for gamers and graphic designers.
With a 1000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and a 20" 16:10 screen, the Syncmaster 2032MW has exceptional image quality and bright colours.
The rich quality and crispness of the Samsung Syncmaster 2032MW is amazing, with response times as low as 5 ms, 16.2 million colours and a max resolution of 1680 x 1050 this monitor is perfect for all things computing.
From gaming to watching real time TV. (Whats more, the Samsung Syncmaster 2032MW also includes a built in TV-Tuner) The SyncMaster Uses both RVB and DVI inputs and has a max power consumption of 45 Watts.
The Samsung Syncmaster 2032MW isn't the best monitor on the Samsung Syncmaster line but its value money is better than most monitors with its large resolution it beats its...

Samsung SyncMaster 151S
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 151 S by
miss_d_bus
Advantages: low user of electricity, small, light to carry
Disadvantages: rotating monitor software doesnt work on XP
...The Samsung SyncMaster 151s is a TFT LCD monitor. It is 15-inches. The way TFTs are measured are different than the conventional CRT monitors so this makes it similar to a 17" CRT monitor. The monitor accepts analog RGB video signals.
Picture quality:
The picture os very bright. and very good quality. I have had this monitor for a few years now and it was then £360. At the time it was voted by the main PC magazines as being both the cheapest and highest quality on the market. I sometimes think the picture is a little fussy but I am not sure if its my terrible eyesight and me needing to go to bed or if it is the monitor.
Resolution
The monitor's native resolution is 1024 x 768 but it will work at 800 x 600 if preferred. Compared to CRTs of the same size, its resolution is a bit small but thats how TFTs work so...

One to buy
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 710 T by
Panzaman
Advantages: Very Stilish, fast response time
Disadvantages: price
...This must be the best TFT monitor I have used so far. I have been thru different LG models and NEC, but this latest SAMSUNG is definately the best performer.
The monitor is very elegant with a silver border, certified TCO03, the response time is very low, 12ms, I use it manly for games and watching movies and I can assure you that there is no ghosting, only a slight amount of blurring that disappears once you eyes get used to it.
I reccomend using it at the native resolution 1280x1024 and to use a DVI cable with refresh rate set @ 60hz
Picture quality is excellent, the black is black and not dark grey, like other similar monitors.
On the negative side is the price, at this moment around £300,. Very expensive but if I may say, worth it!!!!...
