...Some aspects of my review may be based on shopping experiences in my local store in Harlow, Essex. H.Samuel are a jewellery store and they also sell watches & miscellaneous other gifts such as crystal items, wedding gifts, candlesticks etc and although I've never brought any of these particular gifts they look very well made and are always beautifully displayed. The store has glass windows all the way around and in the window miscellaneous items are displayed such as watches, rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets etc and these display cabinets are normally set out in sections such as gold, silver, platinum, titanium, engagement rings, wedding rings, eternity rings etc and it's nice and easy to locate the pad of jewellery that you want to browse and then pop inside the store and ask a member of staff if you can view something you...

Samuel Johnson's Dictionary

Advantages: Wonderful reading
Disadvantages: Edited version

...Whilst Samuel Johnson's Dictionary was not the first attempt at creating a dictionary of the English language, it was the first serious attempt by someone who was a skilled lexicographer. It was first published in 1755. The latest edition is not the full version, it is a special edited version produced by Jack Lynch, with selected highlights form the original work. The original publication was 2,300 pages of definitions of words published in two volumes. So useful was it that it remained the definitive dictionary of English for at last 150 to 200 years. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Advantages: Easy to set up, great overdraft facility, great student credit card

At the time NatWest were the only bank offering me an “incentive” to join and it was a £10 gift voucher so my Card Plus account was opened and I was a customer of the nasty NatWest. I was given a Solo card with my cashcard account by NatWest. A card that most banks only give to customers who are aged 16 or over. A Solo card is a debit card designed for young people, see my opinion on it for further information. Advantages: Until you have a problem, they're great. Very quick to spot potentially fraudulent activity on your account
Disadvantages: Absolutely dire at sorting out any problems you have have - expect long delays with no explanation

In fact, if asked, at one point I would have quite happily heartily recommended them to anyone. The service I used to receive in my ex-local branch was second to none. Friendly and helpful Customer Service people. Excellent range of accounts to suit everyones needs. Rates that were always in line with their competitors (give or take, at times). Even handier was that a few years ago they even started advertising that they would only ever have UK based call centres too so you were assured you'd be able to understand those people on the other ends of the telephones if you ever neede to ring them.
