San Pellegrino in plastic bottles
Advantages: none
Disadvantages: not a good move to change from glass to plastic
...I love San Pellegrino mineral water, I agree with the previous reviewer. It is light and refreshing and not at all gassy. My only gripe is that I used to be able to buy it in large, glass bottles but for some ridiculous reason (certainly not a green one) I can only find the larger sizes in nasty plastic bottles. Were I to buy teeny bottles of San Pellegrino, I would have the pleasure of glass but I don't want a teeny bottle, I want a great big bottle to put on my dinner table! Why, oh why have they changed to plastic? I didn't buy the water for a long time after the change, but now I have sneaked it back onto my shopping list. I am concerned, though, as, apart from the recycling point-of-view, I am sure it is less healthy to buy water in plastic bottles as the chemicals can leach into the water.
5 stars for the water but 0 stars...

Salute!
Advantages: Water is always good for you!
Disadvantages: This one can be expensive.
...Hi everybody!
Like a true Italian I enjoy I waving my proud flag up in the air (yes, I admit it, I also did it when Italy won the world cup! :-) so this time I would like to introduce you to another one of the proud products of our land, which I am sure you have seen on your major supermarket shelves or possibly in one of the delis close to where you live.
Unfortunately in this specific case I have to kindly ask you to use a bit of your imagination as unfortunately Ciao did not download a picture of this precious bottle of water, hopefully though a little description might "spring" it into your mind so you can possibly understand which one I mean.
This San Pellegrino carbonated water comes in an emerald green glass bottle with silver twist lid. Now I am sure this first description is rather selective in itself as the majority...

Bottoms up V Bon Appetit.
Advantages: Bottled at source.good balance of minerals.
Disadvantages: quite expensive.
...Take one rustic country cafe in naples,-plenty of checked tablecloths, pizza dough slapping in the background, thrown into the air and placed in the fire ovens to cook- 2 waiters, and 10 people with the thirst of 1000 camels, and out will come this inoffensive bottle,of...of...drum roll please!...
"San pellegrino"
(roughly translated means: "Saint little poor man of grief!") bottled at the source (Which I will expand on in a mo.)as a natural sparkling mineral water. Exported to as far away country called Australia,(?!)containing all the natural, fresh clean goodness of your typical Itallian spring mineral waters...
and oh,how they tumble down, like laughter deafening and ringing and bouncing off the Alps like Froeline Maria Von Trapp-no-not quite...
tumbling down from the "Italianno Montagnia"in Bergamo,Italy, actually! With the swiss...

CLEARLY SPECIAL
Advantages: Refreshing and Posy
Disadvantages: It's just Water
...Humm, I seem to be writing about non alcoholic drinks at the moment, the problem being there’s not much you can write about drinks. Though I could use this to have a bit of a go at Ciao and ask why they don’t pay for reviews of CDs and Films and other entertainment consumables, because I’m sure that shops make more profit on these sort of items that food and drink. Or maybe it’s that everyone has to eat and drink and they reap their huge dividends through the huge amounts they sell.
Anyway, I was surprised to see that none of the sparkling waters listed on Ciao have any reviews whatsoever (so get writing, and coining those pennies..kerr—ching!!!).
I’m only aware of San Pellegrino because they sell it in Costas coffee bar , but my girlfriend assures me it is very big in Italy. Like any...

San Andreas
Advantages: Massive Game, Great Graphics
Disadvantages:
...GTA San Andreas
Well this is the next great game in the series of GTA. It is so much bigger and better than the one before it. It allows for so much more interaction in the game. Now being able to do things such as going to the gym and play games etc it is just beyond all other gaming experiences.
I have found that the game is just totally massive there are three different islands which are all huge. I've had the game for over a year and still seem to be finding things to do. The main aim of the game is to get respect. You can do this by completing missions and advancing in the game. Another way in which to get respect would be to have great stamina and muscles etc.
The game has so much detail involved it's quite incredible. You start off at the beginning of the game trying to find your way home on a bicycle; this is the very...

San Miguel!
Advantages: reasonable strength, refreshing, tasty, cheap.
Disadvantages: not for repeated consumption.
...San Miguel Premium is a very tasty lager beer thats got a really sweet, refreshing aftertaste that is great for the cash. If you fancy a bit of a change, it is definitely worth a try. Like any alcohol, it is best enjoyed in moderation. However this one moreso, as it starts to get a little bit sickly after the third or fourth pint. It is something to drink between different beers, if not on its own. -- Definitely not something you can drink all night.
Its best to buy in a supermarket as it is disproportionately cheaper than in a pub. It is available in ASDA and TESCO in both cans and bottles. It is thirst-quenching and best served chilled and is often enjoyed in hot climates. As the name may have led you to believe, it is very popular in Spain and is the strongest export of Spanish Beer.
4%. ABV.
Summary: A fine Spanish Beer...

Water I'd pay for!
Advantages: Great tasting. Goes great with meals.
Disadvantages: Rather expensive.
...I was first introduced to sparkling mineral water as a child of eight. I called this 'soda water', because it was water that tasted like soda. Kind of like 7up, but without the feeling of it tearing your inner linings! This was in Rome, Italy. I was amazed to put my cupped hands under a fountain of water that tasted like soda. This was not San Pellegrino, but rather The Holy Water Of Rome(or so it is translated).
I first noticed San Pellegrino being served in fine restaurants all over Italy. When I returned and was older, this was somewhat of a water of choice, for most Italians. It was said that the water actually eases in digestion, and is reccomended with meals. I agree. It was reasonably priced in Italy as compared to the US I noticed.
I know most people are cutting carbonated drinks for different reasons to do with health. I...

Sunny San Diego
Advantages: Gorgeous scenery, sunshine
Disadvantages: transport links
...I visited San Diego last October due to a work meeting. As it was such a long way to travel I thought it would be a good idea to add on a few days holiday to explore the area with a friend who was coming along.
Getting There
There are direct flights to San Diego from London however at the time these were three times as expensive as a fare with stopovers in the US and with a friend coming I wanted our flights to be as cheap as possible. Our flights went from Heathrow to Washington where we changed planes for a flight to Chicago and then another change for a plane to LA, where we got our final plane to San Diego. This may seem too much for some, but for me it was great as the plane changing gave me a chance to stretch my legs. I think I would have found 13 hours cooped up in a plane too much! One thing I did ensure was that the route...

The discreet charm of the Casa San Blas
Advantages: A five-star stay?
Disadvantages: ?with just three-star facilities
...simplicity often trumps ritzy ostentation. Attentive service matters, but nothing is nastier than the kind of smarmy obsequiousness that always seems to mask a sneer. And so on. Maybe it's simply down to that indefinable essence known as character or personality.
These inconsequential musings are prompted by my trying to pinpoint what it was about the Casa San Blas at Cusco that I liked so much. The hotel is certainly not without its limitations and even its failings, but it's a nevertheless a charming and delightful place to stay. Let's try to summarise what it has to offer.
* Location *
The Casa San Blas is situated just a few minutes' walk from Cusco's Plaza de Armas (central square), and is therefore convenient for all the main sights of the ancient Inca capital, such as the Qorikancha (Sun Temple), the Cathedral...

A San Frantastic Boutique Hotel
Advantages: The price, the location, the staff, the rooms, everything
Disadvantages: ...our shower was like needles
...Introduction:
So, we're stuck in Albuquerque, and have pretty much seen about as much desert as we can take. We've 'done' all there is to do. With a spare weekend on our hands, we decided to take advantage of our Geographical positioning and take a trip to somewhere on the west coast. I've always wanted to see San Francisco, and after looking into flights, we found some bargains. So off we go. We looked for reasonable hotels, and came across The Petite Auberge, it wasn't the cheapest we found, but it had an appealing charm that won us over, so we booked.
Company info:
The Petite Auberge is part of the Joie De Vivre chain, I found this information on their website: "Joie de Vivre Hotels is California's largest boutique hotel company. Started in San Francisco in 1987 by Chip Conley, while in his mid-twenties, Joie de...
