SanDisk Clip... a great little mp3 player!

Advantages: Easy to use, reasonably priced
Disadvantages: Bad quality headohones

...I brought the SanDisk Sansa Clip 2gb black about 3 months ago from Amazon for £34.99 including postage and packaging. Its is very small, just 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. It has a small display screen at the top, with blue and yellow text. The lower half of the device has a dial with play, pause, fast forward, rewind and stop. The volume controls and on/off and hold buttons are on the side. It came in a box with the mp3 player, headphones, pc connecting cable and instructions. I shopped around before buying as I wanted a small mp3 player, but didn't want to spend too much money. I considered the i pod shuffle, but decided against it as I didn't like the fact it had no screen. This is what attracted me to the SanDisk, and the fact that it is so easy to use. It has 2gb memory, I have put quite a lot of music on it...

...After many months of happy use, I mislaid my iPod Nano and in it's place my girlfriend bought me a Black Sansa Clip 2GB. Here are my thoughts on it so far. Sound Quality As with many mp3 players, the quality of the headphones has a huge influence on the quality of the sound. I judge my headphones by two criteria; firstly how rich is the sound and secondly how much sound leaks and annoys my fellow train travellers. The 'phones packaged with the Clip are clear but lacking in bass before they begin to distort and they leak sound to the point where a lot of people frown at me on the train. Delightful little Sansa Clip

Advantages: small, lightweight, stylish
Disadvantages: USB charged, keeps hiding at the bottom of my bag.

...I have a pet hate when it comes to Ipods, so when my old MP3 player finally gave up the ghost I replaced it with this sandisc sansa clip 8GB. I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and it's proving to be a handy little device. It is small, good looking, lightweight and holds a fair amount of music. Setup was easy (just plug into a computer and go), with a good 'drag and drop' option for transferring files. The fact that it's compatible with Windows Media Player is also a bonus. The menu is basic, but still clear to read, and radio is as good at the one on my mobile and the controls are easy to use. The main drawback is probably the need to recharge it with a USB port ? though you can get adaptors (I'm currently using the LUPO USB Power adapter mains charger UK) The USB cable itself is also rather short, but it hasn't proven to be too...

Sandisk Sansa...........Ipod beater

Advantages: Much easier to use than ipod/itunes, better sound, better software
Disadvantages: Not as many accessories as ipod

...Prior to purchasing this MP3 player, I had an ipod nano. I didn't dislike the ipod, but I hated itunes. I find it amazing that Apple have gone out of their way to make it as difficult as possible to add or remove music from an MP3 player. The Sansa on the other hand is simplicity itself, when it is plugged into your computer, it is seen as any other storage device, and music is added or removed by simply sending music to the item, or deleting it, simple! One of the really good things about the Sansa, is that it has a slot for a micro SD card, I have a 2GB card installed, which boosts the memory to 6GB for only the cost of the card. Unfortunately, my Sansa being a couple of years old, will not accept the newer and larger SDHC card, so 2GB is my maximum, I do not know if the newer Sansa's take the SDHC card, but if they do, these cards...

...I recently purchased my SanDisk Cruzer Micro from eBay, as it was one of the cheapest brand-names available. Another thing that attracted me to this particular drive is the U3 capability. U3 is a new capability which allows usb drives to hold not only files and data, but also a variety of applications such as the Firefox browser, OpenOffice, Skype but also some games like Sudoku! This great idea is fantastic if you work with multiple computers, such as at work or school where you would normally not be able to use your own applications. Another great feature about the USB drive is the retractable connnector. Ipod Killer?

Advantages: Light, stylish, GREAT PRICE, excellent sound quality
Disadvantages: 2gb capacity not enough to replace a HDD player

...We get alot of gadgets through the mailbox at work and this little Sansa Clip 2GB arrived in a neat little package 2 weeks ago. Some of the first sansa players were labled as "Ipod Killers" and this functional and stylish player is no exception. Eyecatching design coupled with great features make this player one of sansa's best releases. The audio quality (Mp3 128Hz) sounded great, the volume isn't ear shattering or too quiet, they seem to have reached a happy medium. Holds around 500 songs which for the price, is a real bargain when considering the alternatives. Other features include voice recording and a built in FM radio (depending on the region) I would fully recommend this product to anyone with a select music collection or a student on a budget....

SanDisk's answer to an iPod Alternative

...INTRO I bought myself a SanDisk Sansa View (16GB version) because I found my previous MP3 / Video player a bit too bulky and heavy (Creative Zen Vision M 60GB) to carry around. I figured I was hardly using any of the storage anyway so thought a 16GB alternative would suffice. I didn?t want to be tied into iTunes to transfer music to the device so an Apple iPod was out of the question. This one cost me £103 from Amazon. The Sansa View comes in 8GB, 16GB and 32GBcapacities. All have a MicroSD memory card slot so you could add some more memory should the need arise. Not sure if it supports cards of more than 8GB though.
