Sansa's small mp3 player makes a big splash

Advantages: Big detailed sound, lots of features, lots of volume, the price
Disadvantages: Only to be bought as a present for someone else if you have a better one

SanDisk Clip... a great little mp3 player!

...I brought the SanDisk Sansa Clip 2gb black about 3 months ago from Amazon for £34.99 including postage and packaging. Its is very small, just 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. It has a small display screen at the top, with blue and yellow text. The lower half of the device has a dial with play, pause, fast forward, rewind and stop. The volume controls and on/off and hold buttons are on the side. It came in a box with the mp3 player, headphones, pc connecting cable and instructions. I shopped around before buying as I wanted a small mp3 player, but didn't want to spend too much money. I considered the i pod shuffle, but decided against it as I didn't like the fact it had no screen. This is what attracted me to the SanDisk, and the fact that it is so easy to use. Delightful little Sansa Clip

Disadvantages: USB charged, keeps hiding at the bottom of my bag.

...I have a pet hate when it comes to Ipods, so when my old MP3 player finally gave up the ghost I replaced it with this sandisc sansa clip 8GB. I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and it's proving to be a handy little device. It is small, good looking, lightweight and holds a fair amount of music. Setup was easy (just plug into a computer and go), with a good 'drag and drop' option for transferring files. The fact that it's compatible with Windows Media Player is also a bonus. The menu is basic, but still clear to read, and radio is as good at the one on my mobile and the controls are easy to use. The main drawback is probably the need to recharge it with a USB port ? though you can get adaptors (I'm currently using the LUPO USB Power adapter mains charger UK) The USB cable itself is also rather short, but it hasn't proven to be too...

...the sansa clip is a great little mp3 player with decent space. and you can fit nearly 200 songs which is more than enough while your out and about. weather exploring or just travelling to places this little sansa clip is perfect the battery life is execellent and has never died on me, quick and easy to charge up via usb cable. the sound quality is amazing for this and its better then some sony mp3 players. extreemly easy to use menu it comes with a CD thingy - which you dont need as its ''plug and play'' so you dont have to install additional software to run it / use it on your pc simple drag and drop song transfer the song meun is laid out nicly with artist, ablum, genre to choose from. highly recommended :)...

I had a Sony walkman before and sound quality between the two is quite noticable. iPod nano lacks bass. There are EQ settings but not user-configurable ones. Apple's main advertising with this player is CoverFlow. This is when you can browse your music collection by flicking thro' album artwork. However, often it time a few seconds for the images to load, so is not as pretty as appears on adverts. Also it will take you AGES to go thro' your iTunes library and get all the album artwork. I tried it with a FM transmitter (generic) and it worked fine. Overall an excellent MP3 player that boasts airtight integration with iTunes and looks very attractive. However often feels too small. ...Ive had the ipod touch 8gb since christmas and i got it for £200 and i think that it was worth every penny but now the price has dropped slightly to £179.99 which makes this product even better ive had 3 ipods before (nano 1st,2nd and shuffle) and this is the best by far!!! it has a great 3.5" touch screen and the 8gb internal memory is more than enough to store your favorite music and a few music videos or a couple of movies but if you want a mp3 player to watch movies the ipod touch is the product for you but i would go for the 16gb model as 8gb realy isnt big enough for movies and your favorite music. i would highly reccomend this product to anyone who is lookin for a new mp3/mp4 player . i think this ipod is so good that what ever mp3 you own im sure you would realy enjoy the ipod touches features and great look. and the battery life...

...About three or possibly even four years ago I bought a Sandisk Sansa M240 1 GB mp3 player from Amazon, it was quite a bargain price, seemed pretty simple and straightforward, which was ideal for me as I had never had one before, and didn't require many bells and whistles, and it came with all the headphones, cables, and driver disks you need to begin use. Mine also came with a clear silicon case to protect it. It is light, it is small, and it works well. For a budget mp3 player I found this terrific, and the sound quality is actually pretty good too. I hooked it up to my pc with the supplied cable, and copied over a my Learn German series so I could listen to them anywhere, learning the language subliminally perhaps, and this has also worked very well.
