Sansa Fuze is Fun to Use!

Advantages: Small, cheap, capacity can be expanded, radio record feature
Disadvantages: Only supplied with USB charger, no clip, have to use their software to upload videos and photos

One of the great things about shopping on the internet is the ability it gives you to read reviews from people who have bought in the past, and this ruled out a few models on the grounds of "cheap rubbish". I kept being drawn towards the Sansa Fuze from SanDisk however - the price was within my budget and the features were what I was looking for. Online reviews were generally very positive. Sansa Fuze - An Excellent Player for under £60

Advantages: Cheap, Small, Excellent music quality and easy to use

It has a small display screen at the top, with blue and yellow text. The lower half of the device has a dial with play, pause, fast forward, rewind and stop. The volume controls and on/off and hold buttons are on the side. It came in a box with the mp3 player, headphones, pc connecting cable and instructions. I shopped around before buying as I wanted a small mp3 player, but didn't want to spend too much money. ...After many months of happy use, I mislaid my iPod Nano and in it's place my girlfriend bought me a Black Sansa Clip 2GB. Here are my thoughts on it so far. Sound Quality As with many mp3 players, the quality of the headphones has a huge influence on the quality of the sound. I judge my headphones by two criteria; firstly how rich is the sound and secondly how much sound leaks and annoys my fellow train travellers. The 'phones packaged with the Clip are clear but lacking in bass before they begin to distort and they leak sound to the point where a lot of people frown at me on the train. Delightful little Sansa Clip

...I have a pet hate when it comes to Ipods, so when my old MP3 player finally gave up the ghost I replaced it with this sandisc sansa clip 8GB. I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and it's proving to be a handy little device. It is small, good looking, lightweight and holds a fair amount of music. Setup was easy (just plug into a computer and go), with a good 'drag and drop' option for transferring files. The fact that it's compatible with Windows Media Player is also a bonus. The menu is basic, but still clear to read, and radio is as good at the one on my mobile and the controls are easy to use. The main drawback is probably the need to recharge it with a USB port ? though you can get adaptors (I'm currently using the LUPO USB Power adapter mains charger UK) The USB cable itself is also rather short, but it hasn't proven to be too...

Sandisk Sansa...........Ipod beater

Advantages: Much easier to use than ipod/itunes, better sound, better software
Disadvantages: Not as many accessories as ipod

...Prior to purchasing this MP3 player, I had an ipod nano. I didn't dislike the ipod, but I hated itunes. I find it amazing that Apple have gone out of their way to make it as difficult as possible to add or remove music from an MP3 player. The Sansa on the other hand is simplicity itself, when it is plugged into your computer, it is seen as any other storage device, and music is added or removed by simply sending music to the item, or deleting it, simple! One of the really good things about the Sansa, is that it has a slot for a micro SD card, I have a 2GB card installed, which boosts the memory to 6GB for only the cost of the card. Unfortunately, my Sansa being a couple of years old, will not accept the newer and larger SDHC card, so 2GB is my maximum, I do not know if the newer Sansa's take the SDHC card, but if they do, these cards...
