It is simiilar in design to an iPod but is a much more affordable player. The Design This is quite a small mps player as it measures around 3 inches long by 2 inches wide. It isn't as thin as some though and is around a third of an inch thick. The fact that the width is two thirds of the length gives it a bit of a fat oval look that may out some people off. Advantages: Big detailed sound, lots of features, lots of volume, the price
Disadvantages: Only to be bought as a present for someone else if you have a better one

...'s more, unlike some mp3 players, you definitely won't be wishing for more volume, this is enough to block out most annoying background sounds and allow you to fully appreciate the music. This is a bargain and with a storage capacity of 8gb will allow you to fit on thousands of your mp3 players. The process of deleting and transferring more songs via a usb cable, is very smooth and efficient. Advantages: LARGE MEMORY, SOUND OUTPUT AND LONG BATTERY LIFE.

Advantages: Small, cheap, capacity can be expanded, radio record feature
Disadvantages: Only supplied with USB charger, no clip, have to use their software to upload videos and photos

It also plays MPEG-4 videos and you can add JPEG photos, although you have to use the Sansa Media Converter software to add these files to your player, unlike MP3s which you can add directly to it. It has a 1.9" screen to view the videos and photos on and this screen is surprisingly sharp given the size. Great MP3 Player - Simplicity and Elegance

Advantages: Looks great, airtight integration with iTunes
Disadvantages: Feels too small

I had a Sony walkman before and sound quality between the two is quite noticable. iPod nano lacks bass. There are EQ settings but not user-configurable ones. Apple's main advertising with this player is CoverFlow. This is when you can browse your music collection by flicking thro' album artwork. However, often it time a few seconds for the images to load, so is not as pretty as appears on adverts. Also it will take you AGES to go thro' your iTunes library and get all the album artwork. I tried it with a FM transmitter (generic) and it worked fine. Overall an excellent MP3 player that boasts airtight integration with iTunes and looks very attractive. However often feels too small. ...I brought the SanDisk Sansa Clip 2gb black about 3 months ago from Amazon for £34.99 including postage and packaging. Its is very small, just 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. It has a small display screen at the top, with blue and yellow text. The lower half of the device has a dial with play, pause, fast forward, rewind and stop. The volume controls and on/off and hold buttons are on the side. It came in a box with the mp3 player, headphones, pc connecting cable and instructions. I shopped around before buying as I wanted a small mp3 player, but didn't want to spend too much money. I considered the i pod shuffle, but decided against it as I didn't like the fact it had no screen. This is what attracted me to the SanDisk, and the fact that it is so easy to use. Ipod Touch 8gb must buy

Advantages: looks great, great battery life, huge memory for your favorite tracks
Disadvantages: 8gb model is not realy big enough to store movies

...Ive had the ipod touch 8gb since christmas and i got it for £200 and i think that it was worth every penny but now the price has dropped slightly to £179.99 which makes this product even better ive had 3 ipods before (nano 1st,2nd and shuffle) and this is the best by far!!! it has a great 3.5" touch screen and the 8gb internal memory is more than enough to store your favorite music and a few music videos or a couple of movies but if you want a mp3 player to watch movies the ipod touch is the product for you but i would go for the 16gb model as 8gb realy isnt big enough for movies and your favorite music. i would highly reccomend this product to anyone who is lookin for a new mp3/mp4 player . i think this ipod is so good that what ever mp3 you own im sure you would realy enjoy the ipod touches features and great look. and the battery life...

Delightful little Sansa Clip

...I have a pet hate when it comes to Ipods, so when my old MP3 player finally gave up the ghost I replaced it with this sandisc sansa clip 8GB. I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and it's proving to be a handy little device. It is small, good looking, lightweight and holds a fair amount of music. Setup was easy (just plug into a computer and go), with a good 'drag and drop' option for transferring files. The fact that it's compatible with Windows Media Player is also a bonus. The menu is basic, but still clear to read, and radio is as good at the one on my mobile and the controls are easy to use. The main drawback is probably the need to recharge it with a USB port ? though you can get adaptors (I'm currently using the LUPO USB Power adapter mains charger UK) The USB cable itself is also rather short, but it hasn't proven to be too...
