Disadvantages: Only supplied with USB charger, no clip, have to use their software to upload videos and photos

Sansa Fuze - An Excellent Player for under £60

Advantages: Cheap, Small, Excellent music quality and easy to use
Disadvantages: Screen is small due to the size of the player but fine to watch short videos on.

Sandisk Sansa...........Ipod beater

Advantages: Much easier to use than ipod/itunes, better sound, better software
Disadvantages: Not as many accessories as ipod

...Prior to purchasing this MP3 player, I had an ipod nano. I didn't dislike the ipod, but I hated itunes. I find it amazing that Apple have gone out of their way to make it as difficult as possible to add or remove music from an MP3 player. The Sansa on the other hand is simplicity itself, when it is plugged into your computer, it is seen as any other storage device, and music is added or removed by simply sending music to the item, or deleting it, simple! One of the really good things about the Sansa, is that it has a slot for a micro SD card, I have a 2GB card installed, which boosts the memory to 6GB for only the cost of the card. Unfortunately, my Sansa being a couple of years old, will not accept the newer and larger SDHC card, so 2GB is my maximum, I do not know if the newer Sansa's take the SDHC card, but if they do, these cards...

...the sansa clip is a great little mp3 player with decent space. and you can fit nearly 200 songs which is more than enough while your out and about. weather exploring or just travelling to places this little sansa clip is perfect the battery life is execellent and has never died on me, quick and easy to charge up via usb cable. the sound quality is amazing for this and its better then some sony mp3 players. extreemly easy to use menu it comes with a CD thingy - which you dont need as its ''plug and play'' so you dont have to install additional software to run it / use it on your pc simple drag and drop song transfer the song meun is laid out nicly with artist, ablum, genre to choose from. highly recommended :)...

...INTRO I bought myself a SanDisk Sansa View (16GB version) because I found my previous MP3 / Video player a bit too bulky and heavy (Creative Zen Vision M 60GB) to carry around. I figured I was hardly using any of the storage anyway so thought a 16GB alternative would suffice. I didn?t want to be tied into iTunes to transfer music to the device so an Apple iPod was out of the question. This one cost me £103 from Amazon. The Sansa View comes in 8GB, 16GB and 32GBcapacities. All have a MicroSD memory card slot so you could add some more memory should the need arise. Not sure if it supports cards of more than 8GB though. ...I brought the SanDisk Sansa Clip 2gb black about 3 months ago from Amazon for £34.99 including postage and packaging. Its is very small, just 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. It has a small display screen at the top, with blue and yellow text. The lower half of the device has a dial with play, pause, fast forward, rewind and stop. The volume controls and on/off and hold buttons are on the side. It came in a box with the mp3 player, headphones, pc connecting cable and instructions. I shopped around before buying as I wanted a small mp3 player, but didn't want to spend too much money. I considered the i pod shuffle, but decided against it as I didn't like the fact it had no screen. This is what attracted me to the SanDisk, and the fact that it is so easy to use. Delightful little Sansa Clip

...I have a pet hate when it comes to Ipods, so when my old MP3 player finally gave up the ghost I replaced it with this sandisc sansa clip 8GB. I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and it's proving to be a handy little device. It is small, good looking, lightweight and holds a fair amount of music. Setup was easy (just plug into a computer and go), with a good 'drag and drop' option for transferring files. The fact that it's compatible with Windows Media Player is also a bonus. The menu is basic, but still clear to read, and radio is as good at the one on my mobile and the controls are easy to use. The main drawback is probably the need to recharge it with a USB port ? though you can get adaptors (I'm currently using the LUPO USB Power adapter mains charger UK) The USB cable itself is also rather short, but it hasn't proven to be too...
