...I bought the Sandisk Ultra II 4GB card after purchasing my new 14.6mp camera, which produces RAW files of around 12-14mb! I clearly needed an upgrade because my older 2GB SD cards could only store 70 photos. ...I just got the new Samsung U900, its an awesome phone and it takes Micro SD cards as an additional source of memory, since my phone didn't come with a card I decided to buy one to store all the music, pictures and films I will be taking on my phone. I looked up the stats of the U900 and saw that it could take up to a 2GB card, so i decided to get this size as it would be more that big enough for me. ...i got this as a swap for a guitar and it was mainly for a back-up mp3 player i previously used a creative stone, but this sandisk blew it out of the water.the thing that impressed me most was the user defined 6 band eq an excellent addition and it turned an average player into a stunning player.but throw away the supplied headphones they are utter rubbish.i replaced them with sony MDRE818LP in ear phones well worth it. don't use the supplied software though to load it up it will mess with your system instead put the hold on and hold down rewind before you plug in the usb then you can just drag and drop your music as your p.c will then read it as another drive. i highly recommend this as a good mp3 player and the sound quality is awesome.also you can uprade the memory using Mini SD cards... ...So the SanDisk SD flash memory card 512MB. Well as a start like most memory cards these days , its nice and small ( perfect for getting lost if your not careful). Despite its size its nice and long lasting ( well mines still alive anyway..or it was the last time i used it) you get a ncie handy case, you know incase you like accidently sit on it or something. So 512MB , its a pretty good amount of memory for camera use , but if you really do like to get out there and basicly film your entire life, you\'d probably be better off with more memory, i recomend the 1gb or 2gb sandisk memory card. So what a lovely shade of blue, hmm, yes its a bit boring compared to other memory cards, but what do you expect, half the time you cant see it anyway because its inside a device. ...for the memory card to load the image if you are shooting raw but now with this card that is gone. The camera i used yesterday for my second shoot has a combined recycle time with its flash gun of 1/3000th of a second and this card could actually keep with it. The raw file image was ready instantly so I could take continuous shots at 3 frames per second for a minute at a time if I needed to without any lag from the memory card. I have used Sandisk cards in the past but can honestly say they were not much better than cheaper cards so there was no real reason to spend the extra. The card that I was using yesterday was only a 1Gb and I would normally use around a 4GB but size was not important yesterday speed was and I was not let down. ...I have used both this and the 2GB product from Sandisk. These have been great, easy and quick to use, and they store absolutely loads of different data. I have numerous pictures, videos, music and movies on mine, and find it really easy to switch the card between different devices. I have found the lock feature invaluable, especially when younger family members have got hold of our laptop while the card was in there! fortunately, i had locked it, so nothing could be destroyed. I'm also not the only one who likes this product, my boyfriend uses the 2GB card more often, as he does photography in his spare time. This has made his life easier, as he can easily store numerous shots and review them at the end of a photo session, rather than having to do it in the middle and delete a load first. ...The Sansa is an excellent little player. Sleek, feels quite solid, simple to use and cheaper than the equivalent nano. Pros - Good battery life Removable battery (unlike the iPod) Drag and drop file transfers Excellent sound (through good headphones, I've not tried the supplied earbuds) Expandable storage. You can add a 2Gb MicroSD card to take the storage to 6Gb for just £6. Music only on the expansion. Cons - No wall charger. USB only. The proprietary Sandisk connector means you can't use a standard miniUSB charger. Video conversion loses sound sync. Buttons are a little fiddly. Note to new users. The Sansa needs a flash update to cure some instability. I had a lock up which required the battery to be removed to force a reset.
