My Sandisk Ultra II 4GB
Review of Sandisk Ultra II SDHC Secure Digital 4096 MB by
Ikillrocknroll
Advantages: Fast, Cheap
Disadvantages: Lack of backwards compatability
...I bought the Sandisk Ultra II 4GB card after purchasing my new 14.6mp camera, which produces RAW files of around 12-14mb! I clearly needed an upgrade because my older 2GB SD cards could only store 70 photos. I wanted a card that would combine speed, capacity, and value for money - and so I landed at the Class 4 Sandisk SDHC Ultra II 4GB card. I've had experience with Sandisk before, and wanted to stick with them especially after I found out that this card has a lifetime limited warranty, and has been tested to be compatible with a large range of high-end digital cameras.
The Sandisk Ultra II SDHC 4GB card (Which I will now refer to as "The card" to save any confusion), has read speeds of 10mb/sec, and write speeds of 9mb/sec, producing an excellent performance on my camera.
Previously when I used my older 2GB card, I didnt have a USB...

Mighty memory
Review of Sandisk SDSDQ-2048-E10M Micro Secure Digita 2048 MB by
Rubeenio
Advantages: Cheap, great value
Disadvantages: non
...I just got the new Samsung U900, its an awesome phone and it takes Micro SD cards as an additional source of memory, since my phone didn't come with a card I decided to buy one to store all the music, pictures and films I will be taking on my phone.
I looked up the stats of the U900 and saw that it could take up to a 2GB card, so i decided to get this size as it would be more that big enough for me. I opted for the Sandisk card because Sandisk is a manufacturer that i trust and i have got things from before (My Sandisk Mp3 player)
The 2GB Sandisk Micro SD card cost me £15 from Ebay which i was very happy about and it was brand new. It it very small but it came with a handy carry case and also a SD card adaptor. Basically this is a larger SD card with a slot in the back that you can put the smaller Micro SD card into, this lets you put...

2GB scandisk Micro SD
Review of Sandisk SDSDQ-2048-E10M Micro Secure Digita 2048 MB by
Willylad2K8
Advantages: Good for photos and Music
Disadvantages: Bad for Video minutes
...The Scandisk Micro SD 2GB is a memory card which fits with, Mobile phones, Cameras and Video cameras and is used for Transport documents, Videos, Pictures, Music etc. It normally comes with a adapter for your PC which is a SD card where your Micro SD fits into the bottom so you can use the micro SD on any cameras or phones, that has a compatability with normal SD cards! It has a 2GB memory size which is around 2000 megabites, So you wont have any worries about having no memory. It costs from £15 to around £50 and most camera shops sell them. A list below shows you the amount of Photos etc it holds.
Photos
1MP Camera-1808
3MP Camera-952
6MP Camera-603
Video minutes
Normal-60
HD-30
Music
MP3-380
WMA-760
I would advise anyone to buy this memory card only if they want it for Music or photos!...

Sandisk 2 GB Sansa C250 MP3 player
Review of SanDisk Sansa C250 2 GB by
Nigdef
Advantages: sound quality, colour screen, multi play options
Disadvantages: rubbish headphones, poor hardware integration, rubbish software
...i got this as a swap for a guitar and it was mainly for a back-up mp3 player i previously used a creative stone, but this sandisk blew it out of the water.the thing that impressed me most was the user defined 6 band eq an excellent addition and it turned an average player into a stunning player.but throw away the supplied headphones they are utter rubbish.i replaced them with sony MDRE818LP in ear phones well worth it. don't use the supplied software though to load it up it will mess with your system instead put the hold on and hold down rewind before you plug in the usb then you can just drag and drop your music as your p.c will then read it as another drive. i highly recommend this as a good mp3 player and the sound quality is awesome.also you can uprade the memory using Mini SD cards...

Great performer.
Review of Sandisk Secure Digit SD 512 Ultra II 512 MB by
johnsto
Advantages: Fast, durable
Disadvantages: It's red.
...clean. And, it does what it's meant to do. Not bad for a little piece of some plastic and metal.
(The Sandisk Ultra II series is designed to be the fastest SD card in the Sandisk line, but with the standard Sandisk quality and recognition. The 1GB, 2GB and 256MB models 'should' perform just like this one.)...

Sandisk 512Mb memory card
Review of Sandisk Securedigital SD 512 512 MB by
01zesty01
Advantages: Small, reliable
Disadvantages: The lock feature is delicate
...So the SanDisk SD flash memory card 512MB.
Well as a start like most memory cards these days , its nice and small ( perfect for getting lost if your not careful). Despite its size its nice and long lasting ( well mines still alive anyway..or it was the last time i used it) you get a ncie handy case, you know incase you like accidently sit on it or something.
So 512MB , its a pretty good amount of memory for camera use , but if you really do like to get out there and basicly film your entire life, you\'d probably be better off with more memory, i recomend the 1gb or 2gb sandisk memory card.
So what a lovely shade of blue, hmm, yes its a bit boring compared to other memory cards, but what do you expect, half the time you cant see it anyway because its inside a device.
I found that the card can be read and written really fast , which...

EXTREME SPEED!!
Review of Sandisk Extreme III Secure Digital 1024 MB by
thebigc1690
Advantages: See review.
Disadvantages: -
...for the memory card to load the image if you are shooting raw but now with this card that is gone.
The camera i used yesterday for my second shoot has a combined recycle time with its flash gun of 1/3000th of a second and this card could actually keep with it. The raw file image was ready instantly so I could take continuous shots at 3 frames per second for a minute at a time if I needed to without any lag from the memory card.
I have used Sandisk cards in the past but can honestly say they were not much better than cheaper cards so there was no real reason to spend the extra. The card that I was using yesterday was only a 1Gb and I would normally use around a 4GB but size was not important yesterday speed was and I was not let down.
The SANDISK EXTREME III SD 1GB can be bought for as little as £6.09 from Amazon.co.uk and even though that has a £5...

Sandisk review
Review of Sandisk Securedigital SD 512 512 MB by
halawin123
Advantages: Great storage, and lock facility
Disadvantages: none...
...I have used both this and the 2GB product from Sandisk. These have been great, easy and quick to use, and they store absolutely loads of different data. I have numerous pictures, videos, music and movies on mine, and find it really easy to switch the card between different devices.
I have found the lock feature invaluable, especially when younger family members have got hold of our laptop while the card was in there! fortunately, i had locked it, so nothing could be destroyed.
I'm also not the only one who likes this product, my boyfriend uses the 2GB card more often, as he does photography in his spare time. This has made his life easier, as he can easily store numerous shots and review them at the end of a photo session, rather than having to do it in the middle and delete a load first.
This has proven to be great value for money...

Cheap alternative to today's iPod driven world?
Review of Sandisk Sansa E 250 2GB by
joshm12
Advantages: Good battery life, easy pc connection and uploading facilities, good sound quality
Disadvantages: not a great design, ugly looking interface
...The Sansa is an excellent little player. Sleek, feels quite solid, simple to use and cheaper than the equivalent nano.
Pros -
Good battery life
Removable battery (unlike the iPod)
Drag and drop file transfers
Excellent sound (through good headphones, I've not tried the supplied earbuds)
Expandable storage. You can add a 2Gb MicroSD card to take the storage to 6Gb for just £6. Music only on the expansion.
Cons -
No wall charger. USB only. The proprietary Sandisk connector means you can't use a standard miniUSB charger.
Video conversion loses sound sync.
Buttons are a little fiddly.
Note to new users. The Sansa needs a flash update to cure some instability. I had a lock up which required the battery to be removed to force a reset. Flashing the firmware has solved this and I've had no problems since....
